The stones were all uneven, rocked and moved alot when you walked on them and there were some really old ugly shrubs in here that had to go .. we wanna do our own planting, etc. out there. We weren't even sure this company would take on our job ... figured it might be small potatoes to a place that, from their website, does some really nice landscaping and bigger jobs. Greg came over for the estimate visit and couldn't have been nicer. Never made us feel like this was too small a job for them .. he was very enthusiastic about the job, give us all the details and his recommendations re: what should be done and set the date. Based on the good reviews for this company on other sites and the confidence we felt, we booked him right on the spot. The nicest surprise we got was when they called a week earlier than we expected and ask if we wanted them to come out and do the job the next day! We jumped at it and told him very definitely. This job involved ripping and digging up 3 old bushes with huge root balls, flattening and re-soiling the entire planting area .. and the big part -- pulling up about 100 of our existing fieldstones, re-sanding and compacting/flattening the surface, then carefully re-laying our old stones nice and tight. They did this entire job in one long day ... and its perfect. We love the patio -- it looks 10 times better than we even thought it would ... can't wait to have people over and make them jealous now! I give the A+ Landscaping guys my highest recommendation. The people are great, the job they did was great and the price was definitely fair too. Great company!
