We've had our goldendoodle for about a year and 3 months and Lynda's Groom Room was his 1st grooming experience since he's been with us. I have gone two times before for my Ragdoll mixed cat. For the first time, I only asked her to snip around the butt area just to try it out and it came to $60. Lynda was very kind and accommodating to my cat and I was satisfied with my experience. A little over half a year later I went and scheduled a full body cut. It ended up looking like a lion cut which is exactly what I wanted. This trip ended up being $85, a good deal in my eyes. She said that my cat was very good with the cut and bath both times I went there so I now deem this my go to grooming salon. If anyone else is looking into it, they usually only schedule cat appointments on Saturdays because it is a two person job. read more

Responding: I'm sorry we did not call and complain the day of as my daughter didn't want to make a big deal and she's not one to complain. The doodle belongs to both of us.. There's no need for us to make things up. I just wrote my honest review. We weren't trying to get anything for free and also my dog has never been neglected FYI. I didn't take a picture of all 5 nipples, but I did send a picture to one of my friends and was able to retrieve it so you can take a look. I'm sure your customers would appreciate if you would tell them when they pick up their dogs that they got nipped. My problem was that we weren't even told. So sorry if you're getting offended for my honest review and that was not my intention forwards you personally. You were really nice and we requested my dog to have a summer cut in which you did great. Except nipping her was not acceptable and you getting upset and saying it's nonsense. It is great that everyone has had a great experience here, but I cannot say the same for my pup and I. I brought my pup here when she was four months old per Lynda's recommendation. I called when she was between two and three months and she turned me away saying the pump was too little. I come to find out from several other groomers that it is absolutely safe for pups to start getting lightly groomed after their second round of shots to help them get acclimated to getting a haircut so they are not traumatized when they have the full grooming experience. I brought her in at four months, and I told Lynda it was her first time getting groomed. When I got back a few hours later, Linda gave me a very hard time about how difficult my pup was. Also, when I entered the shop it reeked of marijuana. My pup was shaking and clearly very scared and traumatized. Every time we have brushed her since she is super scared and won't let us touch her with the hairbrush, even though that was not the case before. I took her to a different groomers, K9 Carousel in Anaheim and had a fantastic experience! When they brought my puppy out, she was wagging her tail and licking the groomers. She was so excited and clearly had a great experience! I will not be bring my puppy back to Lynda's. read more

First time coming in here to get nails trimmed for my 2 pups. One is a big baby and hates, I mean hates to get his nails trimmed. I used to take him to pet smart but was told that he did not let them go anywhere near his paws, not even for cuts. For months I tried to do it myself and I just became frustrated to know that I had to cut them again because it was a huge struggle. I warned Lynda, even suggested a muzzle. I'll be honest- for sake of a fair review and let you choose for yourself. I didn't love this place. Looks like everyone else does. But, I have English bulldogs. They're brachiocephalic dogs that need to be in moderate to cool temperature to be safe. I got a call that one of mine was panting frantically and I could hear him in the background. When I rushed there, she had a fan faced right towards him to cool him but it felt like there wasn't AC. Maybe there was but it felt very warm. At least she called, she got him cool, All was fine. But, that's the only time that's ever happened. I also don't think they looked or smelled as good as they have going to other places. I like that strong soap smell. They were nice. read more
