Our first visit to Doggy Land Grooming was a great experience. My mini Morkie was shaky and fearful but Brenda put her right at ease with cuddles and her calming nature. Charlie (girl) left happy and clean, smelling great with a nice fresh cut and the cutest bow collar. This place is amazing! This was the first time taking me dog and my sister's dog and we are definitely coming back! My dog gets extremely matted due to her fur type and this place did a fantastic job cutting her hair and bathing her. He smells great and has the cutest bows in her hair! The price was awesome! So I have a anxious aggressive pitbull mix. Shes been rejected from 1 vet and 2 groomers. I have a toddler and a newborn on the way and wanted to get her clean. Doggyland was very nice on the phone and understanding. They told me that they occasionally take rejects from other groomers and would be happy to try as long as I put a muzzle on her. They advised me to bring her in during their down time so other dogs wouldn't be present and asked me to leave her with them. I was so nervous but I did just that. When I returned a couple hours later I was shocked to find my baby clean and happily following one of the staff members with her muzzle off. The worker told me that she growled a bit during her nail cutting but was so good after they had to take it off and showered her with treats. Took my "matted" 9-month-old Bichon Frise to Brenda today. Allow me to say that she did an outstanding job grooming Isaac! I was truly impressed with how attentive and thorough she was. I discussed my concerns with her, which she immediately addressed in her plan. She gave me a quote and an honest response but reassured me that she will do her best for Isaac. She went the extra mile and transformed my beloved baby into a handsome model. Check out the pictures I attached. When I received Isaac, he looked calm, happy, and impeccable! He even got a super cute tie from Brenda. His perianal, perigenital, and nails were perfectly cleaned/trimmed. Matted areas were gone! Isaac was back to his clean pure white fur compared to being so dirty when I first dropped him off. UNBELIEVABLE! My dogs may not realize it, but they love this place! Jessica & Brenda are great! Very caring & personable. They will go out of their way to accommodate the needs of your pet. I take my 2 boxers there for baths & they tend to them right away, no waiting. Very reasonable prices, about half of what we normally paid for the mobile groom for a much better service. I will never take my dogs anywhere else. After the great service we receive here, I don't feel like I could trust anyone else with my dogs. Very cute boutique items available at reasonable prices too. The storefront is bright & very welcoming. It's great to see sisters work so well together. I've run into other customers there & it seems nobody can say enough positive things about this place! One minor concern: The parking. They have plenty of parking available, however, the salon next door takes up all of their spaces. I've never had a problem finding a space, but I can see how it can be challenging. I went to this place and we asked for a trim for my Pomeranian, and as we all know they are fluffy. We asked for a TRIM and when we got our dog back, he had no hair AT ALL, I don't know how someone can make such a big mistake between a trim and cut. We were upset that they messed him up but we didn't know that our poor dogs hair will NEVER grow back. I'm truly disappointed at this establishment for not knowing that Pomeranians hair doesn't grow back, a Pomeranian has three layers and if cut to it's last layer, the hair will no longer grow; and no, our dogs hair was NOT matted. It's been more than a year and he still has NO hair on his back Because of this place. The OWNER of this place claimed to knew nothing or how to find the record, when my mom remembered the girls name he said "oh well, she's not here", In a relieved tone. I've been going to Doggy Land Grooming for over 3 years now! I started off by taking my Yorkie, Mia, who had anxiety every time I would pick her up from getting groomed. I began taking her here and she would come back the happiest ever. They made her feel extremely comfortable and treated her with so much love. Fast forward, unfortunately she passes away. However, I returned back when I got my maltipoo, Toto. Toto loves going to get groomed! Although I don't take him often, they always remember him when he goes and treat him so good. I've taken my Dog Kuze to several groomers in the past and have not been happily fulfilled up until now. :) The first Dog groomers I've taken him to was nice, but was a little over my budget. I then went to another dog groomers that was affordable, but after what they did to my dog, i realized that they weren't grooming him correctly. Kuze is a Lab and I learned that for a Lab breed you aren't supposed to shave him or cut his hair too short, and that is exactly what they did. Of course, I never went back. I then took him to Petsmart and spent tons of money grooming him there, but overtime... because of the cost, it just didn't cut it for me. After taking him to Doggy Land Grooming, I found that it was affordable and an efficient place to take your dog. Brenda and Jessica know EXACTLY what they are doing when it comes to grooming your dogs. They are very professional and tell you exactly what you need for your first visit. They made my Kuzie Kuze smell AMAZING, did an EXCELLENT job at de-shedding him, and trimming his nails. When I first walked into the store, I thought it was the cutest doggy groomer store I have ever seen! The layout of colors and decor around the room was just the cutest thing! They also had CUTE doggy leashes, doggy collars, and a bunch of cute doggy clothing to purchase in the store (very convenient!). OMG this place is the bomb!! The girls here are the sweetest ever. I have a Yorkie and he's a little under 4 pounds. I don't like him to look like the typical Yorkie with long hair. Because he's so small I always want him to look fluffy like a teddy bear. I've taken him to Petco, Petsmart, had someone come to my house, and other Mom & Pop shops. In my opinion, Petco and Petsmart are all about just shaving your dog down. I asked them so many times for just a trim and when I went to pick him up, he was completely shaven down. I don't mind that it the summer because it gets hot but all the time?!?!?! And let's not talk about other places prices. At Doggy Land they trim my dog EXACTLY the way I ask them to. And they don't take hours. Petsmart would take at least 4 hours. I love this place. They are so affordable and nice. I am so happy I found them. They have a customer for life now.
