They had several kinds of indian food, a lush salad bar, and TONS of fresh-made deli items. I was tempted by a grilled salmon salad, gluten free mac and cheese, and the gluten free carrot cake. Ended up getting a vegan tofu burrito bowl and it was so good! I couldn't help but browse the snacks. They had every brand I love here, with flavors I had never even heard of. Ended up somehow resisting the desserts and huge fridge dedicated to olives and pickled goods and just got out with a few kinds of vegan jerky (which is hard to find for me). Again, heaven. I will have to come back on a cheat day when I am ready to sample all the gluten free dessert.

When I saw their only storefront and factory was located on Orcas Island, it was instantly added to the travel agenda. The lady working at the front offered incredible customer service. She shared the history behind the brand and provided a pairing guide for each jam I tasted. You can tell their team members are both passionate and knowledgeable on all their products. The store even stocks small batch and seasonal jams that won't last too long on the website. While I highly recommend visiting the island, this isn't mandatory to get your hands on their goods. Definitely cool spot for organic groceries but a bit of a step down from Skagit Valley Food Co-op in Mt. Vernon. Stopped in for some cold bottled water and to get my bearings (the GPS in my rental vehicle had selected a rather interesting route for me - which I had not previously ground-truthed). The folks here are very friendly and greeted me as I entered. They just entered the modern era at the Acme General Store - they had just added for the first time ever - an electronic credit card reader! They have this really cool detailed mural painted on the side of the building (see attached pix). Great place to stop in for a pit stop for folks passing through the region!
