Lynn is an absolute delight! She is super welcoming and easygoing. She recommended gel x as it does not cause damage to your nails. She did the most stunning nails. The best experience with having false names. Normally they feel super thick and heavy but gel x is lightweight and feel like your real nails. It is easy to type and do other things false nails would typical pose challenging. Ann did my pedicure and she was super meticulous to cleaning the cuticles and painting. My polish came out beautiful. I had a wonderful experience at Lynn today. I do not say this lightly as I normally do not get my nails and toes done but I will be coming back and recommending this place to all my friends and YOU! read more

On their Yelp page, in the More Info section, it states the choice of 3-different pedicure selections: Belle Noche Pedicure, Deluxe Pedicure and Signature Spa Pedicure. When I went here, I asked for the details of their 3-type of pedicures. They seemed a bit baffled by my question and said they only offer one, the Deluxe Pedicure, which is very basic. If I'd known this, I wouldn't have come here. I posted a review stating this a month ago, and they still haven't fixed this on their Yelp page. False advertising. read more

Lynn squeezed me in the same day and got to work. She was super accommodating. Maybe that's why she name her shop "today" nails ...cause that's what I did..got a spot "today". I usually get gel but after running after a toddler, I need something stronger. I've been trying out dip powder and it's so much better! Doesn't chip or fade. I don't have to put my hands under the UV light which is a plus. It does cost a bit more. I love the way the natural color came out and how she shaped my nails. I will be returning. read more

I've been coming to this shop for several years! Lynn is top notch! She always makes my nails look fantastic even though my visits aren't consistent like every 2-3 weeks. She does such a great job they last 5-6 weeks!!!! Not that I recommend that but they do !! read more

My husband & I have been coming to Lynn Today Nails for a few years now & have NEVER had a bad experience. Lynn & Ann are very friendly & professional & our feet feel & look wonderful after our pedicures! I also have my eyebrows waxed there. Disclaimer: This is NOT to be confused with Lynn's Nails on Manor. Don't be like me and go to the wrong place This is the location next to the Dollar Tree! I came to the wrong location and was totally confused by the positive reviews. If Lynn hadn't called me, I would have totally been mislead. The other location did my toes poorly and I rushed over to Lynn for my mani. And I am so thankful we have met. She builds really great rapport and really takes her time to provide perfection. Incredible experience!! I came here for Gel X nails for my birthday and Lynn did the most beautiful job ever!! The fit to my nails is perfect. I asked for ombré nails, showed a photo, and Lynn did exactly as I requested- the perfect ombré look! She checked in frequently to be sure the length and shape was what I wanted. Great service! Came here to get a pedicure during work lunchtime and Lynn did a great job. She is very detailed and took her time on my cuticles. It was only her and one other staff working, and were very welcoming and friendly. I arrived on time and had my current gel wrapped for removal. Since Lynn was working on someone at that time, she didn't start on my pedicure until almost half an hour later. The only downside is, I did not get a long enough massage. It was just rubbing the lotion / oil on and done fairly quickly. My advice is to make an appointment and be sure to let them know if you are on a tight schedule. Other than that, I would come back for a pedi. Probably try gel manicure one of these days. read more

Lynn did an incredible job on my nails and I will definitely be going back. It's always hard to find a good nail tech that can actually match the photo you want on your nails. Linh and Christy were so kind and caring and did such a great job. Me and my friend called the morning of to make an appt for 3:30pm and they were able to accommodate us. The salon is very clean and inviting and they have a great amount of colors to choose from as well as dip powder and gel. The massage/pedicure chairs look and feel brand new and they did such a great job with cuticle care and painting. If you're ticklish like me you can even ask for not too much pressure on the foot scrub. My favorite part is the hot towel and stone massage. Will be coming back again and again! I loved this place given the fact that: 1. They opened an hour earlier just to have me and my friend come in on Saturday morning; 2. The employees are super friendly and they've been here for 23 years; 3. Absolutely loved my nail color! I got so many compliments on it! I can tell just from my one visit that they do an amazing job as they often have regulars book another visit weeks in advance. I came here randomly after work and they took me without an appointment. Ann did an amazing job on my deluxe pedi, she was very thorough, friendly and professional. Then I got a gel mani with Lynn. She paid excellent attention to my cuticles, super friendly and welcoming. I came an hour before closing and they took their time and didn't rush me. I will definitely be back! Lynn does the best job with powder dip nails! I will often come from SF to San Leandro to visit a friend but also to have her do my nails (don't tell my friend )! I really love the almond shape that she does - I don't think I've ever seen anyone who pulls the shape off as well as she does. She's the only one that does manis though; Ann does the pedicures. So make sure you schedule your appointment in advance and please be patient. Cash is preferred but they take card with a $2 surcharge. read more

I was the last appointment for the day and Linh was very patient, friendly to talk to and welcoming! I went in for a regular gel manicure. The nail color I chose had some sort of mixup with the numbers so when I mentioned the color was incorrect, she immediately tried to find my color or at least something closest to it. It took some time but she was kind and did not rush and made sure I was happy with the selection before resuming. I was happy with the results and it's been a week so far with no chipping and the experience was great! The charge was $33. Definitely coming back again! read more

YAY! I finally found a legit SNS dip nail shop. Every other one i have been to in the bay puts gel on top and then UV light. This place does it CORRECT with just using dipping powder. Why pay extra for dip when you just get gel on top anyway. The whole reason why i try to get dipping is because i dont want UV light. Called to get a same day appt. i changed from square shape to almond and did ombre glitter. I love them! I cannot stop looking at my nails. I feel like a new person with them, iykyk! Prices are high but its worth it to me... the quality of the dipping powder doesnt ruin my nails. i think i found my new nail spot in the bay! read more

For a Friday evening it wasn't busy but I was so grateful they let me walk in with no appointment. They told me that someone cancelled but I managed to snag a spot even though it was almost closing time. I got a gel pedicure and full set powder dip and the price was lower than I expected because the quality of the nail work was better than what I've seen in most salons in my area! Had a friend from out of town visiting and we decided to get pedicures last minute. We were both able to get in about an hour and a half from when we called which was great. When I got there, I decided I wanted a simple acrylic set as well and let the guy know my updated request while again making it clear my main concern was my hands being cleaned and restored. Although my nails came out super cute and I loved the design, the process hurt. The nail file burned since it wad up too high, my nails werent soaked off they were peeled off and my cuticles were cut roughly at the end. My hands were not soaked not cuticles werent pushed back... my nails werent even brushed despite being noticeably black and dirty. He just peeled old nail off, filed residue off and instantly glued tips off. I let the tech know multiple times what I wanted, asked for him to clean my nails/hands BEFORE even applying tips/acrylic and was dismissed because "he is a professional and he does it his way" Theres still noticeable dirt on my cuticles and nail bed (I work with flowers, soil, foliage and sappy eucalyptus so it takes effort to get my nails clean), there was no lotion, hot towel or hand massage. Theres also dry glue and old polish under my nails. Theres design was nice, but experience was not at all what I wanted regardless of me clearly putting in request. My boyfriends nails also werent colored despite being charged $25. I chose to come to a professional nail salon rather than at hone nail tech since I thought they'd be more precise and attentive maybe next time, ill do half of their job and come in with prepped nails... Response to owner: my bfs nails were the last of my concern, no color is no biggie lol... the trip to the nail salon wasnt for him. My concern was exactly as you stated, I wanted the acrylic as an add on. I asked you more than once to clean my nails, including the second you grabbed the monomer brush. You were too focused on the nail design which I told you wasnt a big concern. I wouldve paid $70 for just hand massaging and scrubbing lol! My review stands, awesome nails... horrible at listening to customer requests

After telling myself that I'd never go back, I found myself needing my nails done and was literally around the corner, so I told myself, I would try them ONE more time. As soon as I walk in, RUDEEEEEEEE ! That was the sign ! I guess the ONE lady who does nails was getting ready to head out at 1:15pm and told me she couldn't do my nails and continued working. I asked her when would she be available and she said 3pm. But her tome was rude. It's not what you say, is how you say it. DO NOT COME HERE. And if you do come, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. NEVEEEEER AGAIN !!!!!!
