Ive been going here for my pedis and when i get my nails done like 2-3x a year for special occasions. I really do enjoy being able to book on-line or calling. The pedi i got from lovely or snow are really good. They do take their time and they do a good job. Minus a star because one time i walked in and a guy did my pedi. idr his name. but he actually made me bleed on the side of my toe. he never said sorry anything. it was stinging for a few days after. Since then, i have learned to always make an appt and know who my. go-to ares now! Also they do charge extra for credit card. So be prepared by bringing in cash! When i got there the place was busy for a weekday, but it was clean and the people were friendly The only thing i would say is, they did not put me with the person i made my appt with online and gave me someone who was available. I gave this salon five chances because I genuinely thought I had found a nail technician I could keep going back to. The salon itself is clean and beautiful, and the technician is skilled, but the quality of the work simply wasn't consistent enough for me. Paying around $100 for a set of nails that lasts only about a week is extremely disappointing. I even went back once to have them fixed, but I can't keep taking time away from work every time there's a problem. After five visits, I finally decided that enough is enough. I really wanted to love this place, but I expect better quality and durability for the amount of money I spent. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. I don't want anybody to get in trouble. But the last time I was there was July 23 Kobe did my nails and prior to July 23 it was Michelle. Kobe did my nails 4 times and always looked good but doesn't last long. read more

I visited this nail salon with my sister around noon without an appointment, and despite how busy they were, they happily accommodated us. They took my sister first while starting my manicure, which we really appreciated. The staff worked quickly and efficiently without feeling rushed, and the quality of the work was excellent--our nails turned out beautiful. Prices were very reasonable for the service and results. The salon itself is large, with many chairs and nail stations, and it's fully stocked with an impressive variety of products, colors, styles, and techniques. They prefer cash, and there is a fee for credit card use, but tipping is convenient since you can tip all the manicurists via Venmo. Parking can be a bit tight, especially near the Baskin-Robbins in front of the Castro Valley shopping center where Safeway is located. Overall, it was a great experience--very efficient, well-organized, and worth the visit. My niece goes on the regular and now I know why. :) read more

I honestly should have rated this experience or experiences a long time ago. I absolutely love this place. I have one specific tech that I go to and she is amazing. Her name is Snow and she takes care of my waxing and my nail care. I have been going here for over a year now and I don't live in the area. So I have to go out of my way to come here. That's how worth it it is. The pricing is very affordable! I would recommend everyone come here. It's always busy, and it seems that everyone is happy. Inside its super cute and trendy and has a nice vibe. While they have many techs, my go to is Snow. Please stop by and show them love. They stay open until 7 PM. My mom is 65 years old. She is a shy, kind person who has never gotten a pedi before in her life, but she came to this nail salon a month ago because she wanted to get her nails done for her best friend's daughter's wedding in New York. A few years ago, my mom had an accident while hiking and her big toe got hurt pretty badly. She lost part of her nail, and when it regrew, it grew back in crooked. She was so ashamed of this nail, she never wanted to wear open shoes. She has always painted her own nails, but she was afraid to try to fix it herself because she felt like she didn't know how. My mom bravely came to this nail salon and asked them if they could do her nails. What she got in response, from not only the nail tech, but the manager, was a flat "We can't help you with that." My mom was so ashamed, she had to hold back tears. She tried to ask them for what she could do, if there was someone else she should go to, and they acted like she didn't even exist. I guess she isn't young enough to fit in with the crowd these miserable people want in their miserable salon. My mom didn't tell me this story until tonight because she was so ashamed. Today, she got her nails done at some other place where they kindly informed her that people of her age come in with issues like this all the time, and it was no problem. The people running this salon should be ashamed of themselves. To the manager and nail tech who acted like my mom was not even a real person: I hope when you are old, and ugly as I'm sure you'll be, and your kids have all abandoned you, you'll know that you deserve it. read more

I'm so disappointed by my last visit here. I've been coming to white heaven for several years when I want to get a pedicure. I specifically booked Hannah as I had a good experience last time. I went today and got the basic pedicure and she barely did an massage was basically patting my skin, didn't remove almost any of the oil she applied and when she half wiped with a dry towel it left a large black hair on my leg. My friend recently came and saw another worker using a file on herself and then saw her turn and use it on a client! I won't be returning, not worth the price. read more

My experience with Liam was much better! Not sure if it was because of my yelp reviews, but he definitely took extra care on my nails and it felt like he took his time. I can tell because the top coat is on very smooth vs when Kim did it, you can see dips within the top coat. Also not as much mess around my finger tips. He is also very fast but yet pays close attention to detail. He gives me exactly what I want. I've done long, short, almond, square. Everything and he delivers. I recommend him all the time.
