I found this place Mercantile several years ago, haven't been there in a while, we were out in that area over the weekend so we stopped in.It has changed a little bit from not as many antiques to purchase in the store but there were lot of new items. The bakery is on point with cookies, croissants, coffee, cakes, and lots of other bake goods. We did browse around the store for a little bit. It is a very cute Mercantile that makes you feel welcome. They do have daily lunch specials, which would include chicken salads, salads, tuna salads, and Cuban sliders. At a very reasonable price. It was my brother's birthday today and I definitely should've planned ahead with the cake, but it totally slipped my mind! Luckily, Lynnmark Mercantile had a quarter sheet already made and got it ready with a custom message, and even had it delivered within 2 hours of the order being placed. So happy with the service!!! I'm from out of state so had to do everything over the phone and the staff were super understanding and absolutely lovely--I spoke with one of the workers and the manager and they did their best to accommodate my needs. My brother also loved the cake, said it tasted great and was moist. I was happy with the price too, considering the customized message, delivery, and size of the cake. Someone here said the cinnamon rolls were great so we stopped by to try it out. The place itself is small with an old school vibe. They sell lots of small, cute home decor along the entry door. They also have sandwiches and some pastries. Besides the cashier being awkward during my purchase, the cinnamon rolls were really good. They come in a large size. My family loved it. read more

We just moved to the area and we love this place so much. The whole vibe is adorable with a little kick knack store, a bit of local produce/groceries (bread, eggs, honey), and so many wonderful baked goods. The desert case is fantastic and their cookies. Haven't tried a pie yet but I have my sights set on one! Also love the coffee, cinnamon rolls and sausage rolls on the weekends. Such kind and wonderful staff. Truly a gem of a place! read more

I don't write many reviews but this bakery is well worth my time. I have ordered cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and cinnamon rolls from this bakery on different occasions and each time I have been extremely pleased. Everything tastes wonderful. The cupcakes I have taken to the school for birthdays are always a big hit. You know they are good when a second grader still mentioned them six months later. They might be located in a small town but they have a big town taste! The service is also friendly every time. read more

10/10 would NOT recommend! My best friend ordered a cake for her daughters birthday, a whole WEEK in advance. When she went to go pick it up, there was NO cake!
