I had to leave in the middle of my manicure. I was clear in my request for SNS dip from the beginning. Even said it multiple times. The tech started my manicure and when it was time to add color, I reminded them I wanted SNS and not gel. They tried to convince me to get gel despite me saying no numerous times. Got charged for a manicure and left with my nails worst than when I showed up.

First of all, very clean salon, I like how they use disposable nail kit every time. Secondly, friendly employees. Overall great experience with one the best pedicure I ever had ( great leg rub, perfect polish), I went with gel polish since it lasted a-lot longer than regular( been a month and the polish still great), be back soon.

ABSOLUTLY love my nails. Got them done by Kim and she's so nice and gentle. I have pretty sensitive skin and most of the time if you go too rough I'll bleed but she was so amazing. Even when I was unsure exactly what I wanted she helped pick my color and everything. This is my go to place and I highly recommend!

I've found the nail studio I've been looking for: straight forward, really amazing service, and great quality. Hannah does not blink with every photo I bring her of what I want, and Lynn is the kindest person. AND, they have parking right in front. I found them because they open earlier than other studios, but I feel so lucky. Attention to detail, clean, comfortable without being bougie: and did I say affordable? YES. Ok! Good beauty services are hard to come by in Portland sometimes. I think I finally found my forever nail place. It was so clean, cute inside, and air conditioned! The pedicure was also excellent. I think it was one of the best foot massages I have received with a pedicure. I especially liked the mud mask included. read more

ABSOLUTLY love my nails. Got them done by Kim and she's so nice and gentle. I have pretty sensitive skin and most of the time if you go too rough I'll bleed but she was so amazing. It's a lovely place to be as far as the new furniture chairs. Staff was friendly. But one thing concerned me a great deal. When she finished using nail clippers and nail equipment, she did not clean it. She put it back into her bag. This concerns me a great deal read more

I will start off by saying that I am someone that does my own nails at home and I was not pleasantly surprised by the service that I got at Lynn's. I had a very specific design in mind and when I asked for it I was told that it would take 30 minutes, I was surprised because when I do my nails the application itself takes an hour, the application was so rushed that less than 2 hours after my appointment, 2 nails had already popped off. And by now (3 day later) all of the nails have popped off. The design was sloppy and non cohesive, instead of a clean pattern it was a weird uninformed mess of dots. I will say that the woman that did my nails was extremely kind and was obviously talented, I think that if she were to have not rushed the nails would have turned out very nice. Personally, I would have preferred to spend 2 hours getting my nails done and then look good and last 2-3 weeks than 30 minutes for them to pop off immediately. For the $80 I spent I am quite disappointed. I am sad to be leaving a review like this because I really did like the employee that did my nails but I just thought I would share my experience. read more

Dropped into this spot hoping to get a pedicure. I think the staff were a bit confused why I was there and curious what I wanted. Nobody said, "may I help you?". Once I said, "can I get a pedicure?", they jumped into action and the service from that point was great. Really interesting first time experience. However I would highly recommend this place. read more

Well after waiting a whole 15 years before getting a pedicure. I stumbled off the packed freeway and pulled into this gem. Lynn did my nails herself and she took great care of me massaging my legs and feet I was relaxed the who time. I also met Clare and Rona and took a trip down memory lane talking about our old elementary school. She offered champagne but I took water. I won't be waiting another 15 years to get my pedi and next time I'll take the drink. read more

I haven't had my nails done in many years so was very excited to get a gel manicure. I walked in and they were able to see me within an hour. Both people working were very nice. I only took a star off because my gel mani started chipping 5 days later. I know that gel manicures are supposed to last much longer than 5 days - so that was very disappointing. I was hoping to make this a regular spot to get my nails done every couple weeks, but no way can I afford to get them done weekly. I do work a job where I type a lot, so maybe that is why they chipped so soon. Overall it was a nice experience and my nails looked beautiful for 5 days, but after that they all started chipping so I'm not sure if I'll be back or if I'll try another nail salon. read more

So last time I was here the nails were ok but the lady that served me was pretty rude. She barely acknowledged me as she did my nails except to snap at me to loosen up my fingers. Against my better judgement I went again and I'm really wishing I hadn't. Today I called ahead to see if they had time for a walk-in manicure and they said they did. The entire time the man who did my nails keep spinning around to watch the X Factor on TV. He filed down one had shorter and almost skipped the other until I said something. It was pretty obvious he was rushing through it (may have been because a few other appointments showed up part way through) and didn't even bother to make sure all of my old nail polish was removed (see picture below). He rushed through my manicure so much that he actually took a chunk out of my finger with the nail file. And instead of finishing off my manicure with oil and lotion, he quickly slapped some oil on my fingers and told me to rub it in. I guess one thing is that he did shape my eyebrows pretty nicely, which he has done on other occasions before. With 4 other nails salons within a quarter mile radius of the area, I'd pick a different one. I look forward very much to my manicures and I'm pretty upset at this experience. read more

After I explained that I had called earlier and was given a 4:30 appointment, she insisted there was no appointment on the schedule and repeatedly asked who I had spoken with. At that point, I explained that all I needed was a basic acrylic removal. She eventually told me to wait, so I did. Not only was the service disorganized, but I also felt I was overcharged for such a simple removal service. The overall experience felt unprofessional and unfriendly. The staff was rude, communication was poor, and there was no effort made to provide a welcoming experience- even something as simple as a polite goodbye was missing. They did not give me what I asked for and the lady doing my nails could not have been licensed because the lack of basic knowledge to do GEL-X NAILS, the most BASIC nail service, is absolutely unreal. Not to mention, it is rule number 1 to not get the clear gel-x glue on bare skin to prevent contact dermatitis, and this lady, gets her nasty gloves with all of the polish all on my skin and cures it. I could not say anything this deep into the appointment because I feel that the damage had already been done. This salon, or at least this worker is nothing less than a biohazard and should NOT be doing nails until PROPERLY TRAINED. I have never been so speechless, horrible job.

I really wanted to have a good experience here because Lynn seems like such a sweet person, but unfortunately my visit didn't go well. During my nail appointment, I was cut multiple times around my cuticles, which caused a lot of irritation and burning on three of my nails. It was uncomfortable and painful, and I was disappointed that the only compensation offered was $5 off my set considering the damage and discomfort I left with. I truly wish things had gone differently, but based on this experience, I don't think I'll be returning. read more

No one explained anything to me or even checked to see if I was okay. Eventually another person came over, worked on me for a while, and left as well. A third person ultimately finished the service. I paid $80 and left feeling like I had received one of the worst pedicures I've ever had. When I got home, I called and spoke with a manager and sent her photos. Instead of simply acknowledging how poor the service had been, the conversation became argumentative. I asked for the pedicure to be redone, and she refused, saying they had already spent so much time on me. Much of that "time," however, was me sitting there waiting while different people came and went. What bothered me just as much was the way my complaint was handled. At one point I was told that the employees were trying to earn a living and support their families, which had absolutely nothing to do with whether I received the professional service I paid $80 for. I shouldn't have been made to feel guilty for complaining about genuinely poor work. Eventually the manager became much nicer and told me that because I was leaving town, I could call when I returned and she would redo the polish. I became sick after my trip and wasn't able to follow up immediately. When I did call a couple of weeks later, my calls were not returned. I gave them an opportunity to make this right before posting a review. They didn't. This wasn't simply a pedicure I didn't happen to like.
