Yet they recommended a second meet and greet with this dog. They had to put a muzzle on for this meet and if it wasn't for that muzzle, our dog would be dead. So, we kept trying and found another dog that ended being a good fit, but with a recommendation to do a second meet and greet to make sure. Today my family showed up to do the second meet, and they refused to do it because last time there was a little growling, but no malicious with it. This was supposed to confirm or not if this dog was a good fit with ours, and they wouldn't let us. But they'll let a known very bad match do the second meet. The first time we were there, there was another lady who had spent all day falling in love with the cutest puppy. She went to start the adoption paperwork and then told she couldn't adopt this dog because there was a hold on it. What the hell is wrong with the Longmont Humane Society, messing with people's emotions and the additional stress put on the pets and the pets in your facility. We have successfully adopted several pets from there in the past. We will definitely never return to this facility.

Our nurse was Courtney and she was AMAZING!! Tynkerbell licked her and let her pet her, which she never does. Courtney's kind demeanor and very obvious compassion allowed my anxious, traumatized dog to trust her which means so much to me. Courtney also explained the whole process to me; she understood our situation and took the time and patience with Tynkerbell that she needs. Her friendliness and calmness made me feel assured that my dog was in great hands under their care- which is not something I feel often!! We were treated by Dr. Brandon Reynolds who was also very friendly and informative! He explained everything in great detail, and I felt confident that he would be able to find the right course of treatment for Tynkerbell. I would highly recommend him. Overall, I would recommend this clinic to anybody looking for quality emergency care. The staff was beyond helpful, caring and just wonderful. The clinic was very clean and tidy. There was no wait time, we were put in a room immediately! They made my dog feel comfortable, which is something she rarely feels around strangers and new places. On the day of my appointment, I was nervous and scared, not sure if it was the right time. When they told me "Chas" would be my vet, I felt relieved. Because the last pet I euthanized was nicknamed "Chas," so I know the universe was telling me it was the right time and that my other pets were with me to greet her. We are in Denver CO for business and Bernie took a turn for the worse. We had seen a vet in Denver when we got here but unfortunately they were closed on the day he needed to be euthanized. I started making calls and doing google searches, and happened upon Codapet. Everything was planned out for later that evening. Bernie dined that day on chick fil a chicken and waffle fries, and even a chocolate shake. For a business that's purpose is care of unsheltered animals, they seem to have a very loose…read moreunderstanding of the basics of what cats and dogs need. The facility was very clean and staff was friendly while I was making my donation. However, the cats were clearly very obese and not being fed the correct diet, especially to help with their obesity. Firstly, there were two bowls for food per cat sold to the brim with kibble. A place such as the boulder Humane Society that cares for cats should know that cat should not have constant access to food because they do not know their limit. Same goes for dogs. Not only are they not supposed to have constant access to food, but they're also not supposed to eat kibble. Cats cannot process the grains that are in every brand of kibble whereas dogs can. It was a shame to see that a place that's supposed to have an animals health in mind treat them so neglectfully.
