He helped me set up my App on my phone and organize them in a sequence that worked for me. explicit care was taken with the precise way of doing each exercise-Nate is a very good instructor as I progressed. The pain level decressed quickly so I could progress with more intense exercises without much pain. over all my experience was quite injoyable and I appreciated the effiency of the front desk personnel also. I had PT with them several years ago, and it was very helpful with regaining my balance due to lumbar spinal stenosis. Since then, the owner sold the business, and it is now a part of Mary Washington Healthcare. I was critically ill and hospitalized with sepsis for ten weeks last year, and I am still recovering. Recently, I lost a great deal of the strength I had recovered since last summer, as well as gross and fine motor skills and overall range of motion. I will be seeing a spine specialist this week, and believe that my current issues stem from cervical spinal stenosis. I began outpatient PT with Premier about three weeks ago, and I can't believe the improvements I've already noticed. The staff consists of only four people, including an excellent new PT, the same terrific PTA/patient director, the same dedicated support assistant, and the same receptionist/office manager. The receptionist is warm, friendly, and amazingly efficient. Everyone is kind, patient, and intuitive regarding patients' needs, goals, and how to achieve them. I very highly recommend this physical therapy practice!

I currently am seeing the occupational therapist here and she is amazing. I am recovering from a broken arm/wrist and working with her has always been so easy going and comfortable. I do not have one single complaint about my experience here. They are also so understanding about last minute cancelations or rescheduling. I missed an appointment once by accident and they called me to make sure everything was ok and just to remind me of my next appointment. I apologized for missing my appointment and they reassured me that everything was ok. I then asked if I would be charged for the missed visit and they said no, they only resort to that if it becomes a habit. I was very impressed by this.

What if there's actually something wrong with your body....The longer it takes to get something fix the harder its going to get it fixed... I had the best painless two weeks after the surgery, then I did things that tweaked the fusion's placement. Dr. Baquie and his surgical team did an awesome job. Suggestions: with any spinal surgery a before surgery and after surgery immediately visit to the physical therapy to learn about recovery movements. I was taught after the surgery while still recovering from the surgery drugs and the recovery Fentanyl a few ways to move. My husband tried to understand the directions for me. When I had my knee replacement, an OT/PT nurse was sent to my house immediately to coach me on my recovery. This was only for two weeks, but it was extremely valuable. I had a quick and uneventful. I was referred to Hilltop due to pelvic floor dysfunction from my son's delivery. I had no control…read moreof my bladder; not only sneezing, coughing, and exercising caused leaks, but throughout the day and night, I would have to wear pads for incontinence. This issue affected every aspect of my life, as well as became a burden on our finances, as buying pads every few weeks is no small thing. The first appointment I had, the receptionist set me up on a schedule, (twice a week) and booked all the appointments through two straight months so I would be certain to be seen. Leah was amazing in walking me through every exam and work out, telling me I was in control every step of the way, and to let her know if I was ever uncomfortable or in pain. She respected my privacy, explained the reasoning behind any intimate questions she had, and made me feel completely at ease in her care. Kristen helped fine tune problem areas, and gave me additional advice and exercises. I admit, her methods were less comprehensible to me, but no less effective. Both therapists were wonderful, and I highly recommend them. I am now at the point where I am progressing enough independently that today was my last appointment. My issue that used to affect about 86% of my life is reduced to a mere 25% issue. Because of the personalised work outs, therapies, and professional help I was given, I have every reason to believe I'll recover fully by the time my son is weaned. I hope more women become aware of services like this to help restore pelvic floor function after childbirth. As Leah assures me, it's a very common problem, but it is NOT normal, and you can repair it without surgical procedures or pessaries.

I have some pretty terrible pain in my face most of the time. I was told my TMJ was bad and I…read moreneeded to get physical therapy for it. I thought that sounded crazy, but I told them I would give it a try. Anything for some relief! I was sent to Jill at Select PT, and she has worked on my face for the last few months. I feel a lot better! She even gave me some info that it seemed like although my TMJ is in fact not great, she thought I may have something else going on, based on my pain being more widespread that TMJ commonly would be. She recommended I go to my neuro and see what's up, basically. I finally got in with my neuro and he said it sounds like I have trigeminal neuralgia, but we won't know 100% for sure unless I go in for an MRI. I have a thing against MRIs. I'm way too claustrophobic for that! He put me on a medication that would help me with my nerve pain, my sleep troubles, and my depression. Jill added some desensitizing techniques to my treatments and I have been in pain less days than I have been in years! I was on a 12 ibuprofin a day regimen for a while, until I felt like I was starting to get an ulcer, so this is amazing! I only have to take motrin a few times a month now, instead of a few times a day. Unfortunately Jill is retiring at the end of the year, but I am being passed along to Dan, who she assures me will carry on her work :) Also, the ladies at the front desk are very nice! You still have to wear your mask in the office, which I appreciate, and you're required to take your temperature with their hands free, no touch thermometer upon entry. I love that they are taking the pandemic seriously, and helping to keep their staff and patients in good health!

I have a lot of issues dealing with bursitis in my hips and a torn hamstring... and going untreated for a long time has caused my muscles to compensate and not work correctly. I had my initial visit with Darrell, which he was very informative and personable. I have also seen Parker and Jared and they are fantastic as well. Jared even was able to fix my left leg being longer than my right leg by doing something with my joints. All this stuff is a little over my head, but whatever they do seems to be working! I'm hoping that I am able to be fixed so I can get back to my rigorous yoga routine and 5k walks without my hips being in pain.
