Having checked two online suppliers, who were quoting about $85 dollars to my door for the hose and the couplers. I thought a local business would be somewhere in the ballpark maybe slightly higher. The counter person never mentioned a price he just went to the back and made up the hose and brought it to the counter in less than 10 minutes. Out the door at Greeneville Hose for the same hose was $234.00. When he rang it up I was shocked. Over double the price. Yes I did get it that day instead of the next day delivery but I also had to drive a 40 mile round trip in to Greeneville to get the hose. I have learned my lesson on not asking the price up front. Had I been told the price upfront I would of exited the building. Two weeks later I needed one more coupler. I thought I would give them another chance to sale me something at a reasonable price. A set of two couplers is 40.00 shipped next day from amazon. I called Greeneville hose thinking if I shared with them that I just purchased from them recently and only needed one coupler that they could literally take it off the shelf and hand it to me (easy right?) and I might like the price. $97 dollars not out the door!!!!. I could not understand why the 20 foot hose I bought before included the couplers at $234 dollars. At this point I was thinking was I getting the hose almost for free but being gouged on the fittings based on the this new quote for one coupler? I said thanks for the info and ended the phone call. My conclusion. You are going to pay double or possibly triple for hydraulic hoses and fittings buying from Greeneville Hose and Supply. I am all for local businesses but double or triple the price for the same thing and not having to get into my car to go get it. Come on. I work hard for my money and don't like being gouged.

Owner had an attitude said our walls weren't straight. My husband asked the owner how many perfect walls he had seen. His answer was none. Which is true that is why we assumed they came and took laser measurements to insure a custom fit. The owner blamed the bow in our wall and took no responsibility and refused to fix the problem. My husband is a contractor so he knew that was not a good excuse. the owner hung up on him. I'm extremely impressed with their craftsmanship; pre-cut to fit perfectly; smooth, shiny surfaces; level, tight, unseen seams. This area is fortunate to have such stone craftsmanship available!
