Wow be careful with this New Contractor! We secured an estimate and made plans to get the job done 9 days in advance. The day before the job he shows up and comes over to chat and decline's doing the job. He tells me face to face "I'm just going to pass". I'm like what the heck. Our company went through Angie's list to get bids and this guy is unreliable unless it's convenient for him. Maybe too hot out for him to work. We have other contractors coming into work the next day and now they have to be canceled. So he cost them their jobs as well. We have other bids but now 2 weeks out due to M & M Hauling & Bobcat. Mike was fantastic! We needed some excavation done on our side yard so we could create a rock driveway. I called 4 or 5 different companies and M&M was one of them. Mike was the first one to respond to my request and called me back right away. I described the job and he asked for some pictures and measurements which I sent right away. I also received some call backs from others after I started talking to Mike and they also asked for the measurements and pictures which I sent. Within a couple hours, Mike got back to me with a great price which was less than half of what some of the others wanted to charge me, and he said he could do the job a few days later. He arrived on time as promised and got to work on the yard with the bobcat. He even did some extra work that wasn't supposed to be part of the job and scooped up all the dead leaves and debris and put them in our truck bed and Bagster bag so we could take to the dump. He had another guy come help and they finished all the excavation and leveling of the dirt in like 4 hours. I was so happy with his work I even asked him what other kind of work he did but he said demo and excavation was all he did which I felt was honest as he didn't try to sell me on crap he doesn't do. read more

Mike answers his phone so I didn't bother with a estimate request through Yelp. He was fairly priced for bobcat loading of approx 6.5 cubic yards of dirt and hauling it off with his dumptruck equipped with lowboy. I got two similar quotes from Ian Myles and Dan the Man Hauling, but Mike was the one who responded most quickly and came out to the site to be sure there wouldn't be any pricing changes once he saw things in person. On game day, he called ahead to be sure timing still worked for me and showed up on time. The dirt was piled near hedges waiting for him, and he demonstrated years of finesse with the bobcat as he was efficient in loading while not damaging vegetation. Mike responded quickly to my call, his pricing was very fair and we set up for the Job in a few days. Mike showed up right on time, had a nice new Bobcat and set to work moving all the materials. I was very impressed with his skills and care he took protecting my property, plants, driveway etc. We did not need one but Mike also has a large drop bin he can drop off if you are doing large clean up jobs on your property. I needed all the plants and vegetation removed, a cement pad broken up and removed, 3 large boulders moved, dirt removed, a large hole for a tree dug and footings for retaining walls. Mike came out and gave me a fair quote. He and his sons showed up right on time. He is a master with his Bobcat and mini backhoe. He has a huge roll off container for dirt, concrete and green. 2 weeks ago I called and was able to describe a do-it-yourself project in my front yard that I needed his services removing what I thought was about 12 to 13 cubic yards of loose dirt and grass that I had run the rototiller through. Mike gave me a very reasonable quote over the phone and I felt that he was being more than fair! Now, fast forward a week to the day before work was to be completed. Mike called to confirm that we were still a-go. He arrived at the time that he said he would and got right to the dirt removal. We estimated that he removed in excess of 20 cubic yards without any problem and the price was solid.
