They had a lot of liquor and a decent selection of wine. But I'm a beer guy and that's what I was there for. They had a broad selection of domestic mass market beers but not so much in the craft beer space. However, I was able to pick up a few decent beers and the prices were super reasonable! Very friendly cashier and they have a nice assortment of snacks by the front door if you need a nosh after you buy your booze. One note, they don't take Amex.

The inside and outside lights are on, last customer before me, was just leaving. I walk up to go in and the door is locked!! Oh no! An employee had just locked the door, another was at the cash register Obviously closing out todays sales. What? They close @8pm??? I knock on the glass door, get their attention, I point to my watch, asking from outside.. aren't you suppose to be still open??? The lady who had locked the door... walks back over to door.. I'm thinking, she's going to say, we're closed... but instead, she unlocks the door and without saying a word, literally opens the glass entrance door completely.. ???I am so surprised, it's looking like I might get to make a purchase here, but I am not a 100% sure, so I ask.. ?? Well... Can I come in?? She answered softly, Yes.. I'm very surprised!!! I ask her, "are you sure that it's ok?" Yes! Come in, she said. In an attempt to hurry, my mind goes blank, I am thinking.. I know these people want to go home.. I don't know where anything is, plus I am shopping for someone else!!!. This woman showed me every kindness, As if it was in the middle of the day... I did rush, as fast as I could, because I really appreciated her letting me in. The other thing I noticed, as I quickly shopped, LOW PRICES throughout the store. The gentleman had my purchase rung up and bagged, I was sure of the Miller beer I purchased, but I was not 100% sure on my other purchase and the lady kindly told me,instead of a large bottle, I could get 2 different smaller bottles.I said, that's ok, he already has my purchase rung and bagged, I am not going to have him cancel my order and ring up something else... both assured me, they did not mind... I was glad to keep what I had. Latter I looked on the Internet and realized the store closed at 7:45 not 8pm. Low prices, customer service and kindness is served here. I don't shop often in a liquor store, but you can be sure, if I do, it will be here!!

Woohoo! I do love a new restaurant and Fondue does not disappoint…read more Service wise, is got here on a Friday night at 17:30, had no issue getting in and was greeted by Alex the bartender. She was very plesant the whole time I was here, just the right amout of attentive too, absolutely flawless service. Ambiance, man does this place shine. Its quiet, which is very plesant whether in a party or alone. The only native sound in the restaurant is the HVAC blowing, otherwise its conversation making this place feel natural, not forced, and very lively. The physical appearance is laid back, theres wood everywhere, the stone bar, and cutting boards on the wall just bring a perfect little pop to the restaurant. If you look up near the entrance you're greeted by a full green wall, they may or may not be real, I'm not sure but it was a welcome sight nonetheless. Let's move in to food while I'm rambling on. The cheese fondue was a delight, and the dinner fondue was as well. A scrumptious blend of indulgent cheese and hearty broth made for a great dinner. Plus, of course the proteins, vegetables and fruits that come as dippers (cant forget the dippers!) Really its a great experience. All in all, I cannot recommend it enough you'll be very happy with your decision! Oh and of course I have to talk price, its important aye? So I'll admit its on the more expensive side for one, however when you count in that each dish is meant to serve two its a no brainer. The prices are super reasonable for dished meant for two people, honestly great spot for a date its intimate enough that you'll be able to have a conversation but not so quiet that you can hear a pin drop. A perfect 5 for an excellent local spot, cheers and well earned.

Our server was friendly and prompt. We ended up ordering 3 of the tapas plates to share, one cocktail each, and then the dessert fondue at the end. We loved each of the small plates with the pretzel breaded chicken skewers being my favorite. The drinks were beautifully presented and delicious. I thought the dessert fondue was a good portion size for the price ($25 for 2 people). We couldn't finish all of the dippers, but our chocolate fondue was basically gone by the end. We had ordered the Reese's fondue, but she brought us milk chocolate and we didn't realize until a few dips in. I love the decor and furniture here. It feels upscale and intimate, but comfortable. They have a bar area to the front and then more formal dining in booths in the back. At the end of the day, we each spent around $55 after tip. I think it's a wonderful place for a splurge dinner or to celebrate an event.

I kept my request incredibly simple: boiled or baked potatoes and steamed vegetables. Shockingly, they told me they had NO vegetables available. The server was kind enough to ask the chef if anything could be prepared for me, but after checking, she returned and said, "I'm sorry, there's nothing we can do for you." So while the rest of my party of nine ate food that was oily and overcooked, I sat there with nothing but a glass of water & a wine. The only vegetable they had was green beans, and they refused to even steam those without oil. In today's world, accommodating a basic dietary restriction with something as simple as potatoes and vegetables should not be impossible. Extremely disappointing experience, and unfortunately not a place I'd choose to return to.

This review covers four different interactions here and a more fair review of each of them…read more Experience 1: We had a relatively good experience eating in here. This quickly became one of our fave dinner spots! They are middle of the road with gluten free options. It was very busy and loud, not something they can do much about. The servers are super busy but always attentive and that plus the food made us want to come back. Plus the decor is kind of fun to look at. They have both indoor and outdoor, it's too cold for outdoor right now but will try closer to Spring. Ordering Out/Experience 2 and 3: The few times I ordered out, my pizza was wrong and the "grilled onions" in my cheesesteak were actually just raw strips of onion. I hate raw onions so it was just gross for me. I would normally say it was a bad day but it happened twice in a row around the same time of day. I'm assuming the cook earlier in the day doesn't know what grilled means or doesn't care. In the evening it's always spot on! Experience 4: We're not needy customers and usually prefer to be left alone while we chat and enjoy our food. I think that's what made this visit beyond frustrating for us. We really liked this place and it was just a very chaotic experience. It just so happened that this experience occurred the day I was catching up on reviews. Our server was a mess. We were patient and kind assuring her that it was okay. They made my husband's order gluten free which we only ordered mine as such. Brought it back correct. No big deal. Then she tried to accuse us of being wrong, now that was annoying. After that, she did not bring our pizza even after we confirmed with her, because she asked, that it was NOT to go. She asked, we said no and stated that we wanted to eat our pizza there. Next thing we know, she boxed it up to go and dropped it off, with the check, after we mentioned we were still waiting to eat it. We left a $12 tip (a dollar less than 20% of our bill) because the waitress got multiple things wrong and blatantly ignored what we asked in a very simple order. Today we see she made the tip $30. We called, it's handled, it has kind of tainted this place for us though..
