The food was amazing. The waiter- Tyler was Terrific. The view breath-taking. Although the prices were a bit steep, but, if service and food is top-notch, you don't mind.

This was my first time visiting JP's on the Wharf Restaurant. The outside atmosphere is beautiful, filled with plants and a great view of the bay. They offer outdoor seating facing the water, but it was a bit too chilly to sit outside during our visit. Inside is cozy with several tables. They don't take reservations, but our party of six only waited about 10 minutes for a table. Our waitress, Cassidy, was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We started with the calamari and Yucatan shrimp appetizers, both delicious. For entrées, we ordered the Yellowfin Tuna, Crab Cake, Fish and Chips, CAB Ribeye, and the Tropical Salad with Snow Crab Clusters. My husband loved his crab cake with its crisp golden crust and flavorful crabmeat. My sister-in-law's ribeye was tender and perfectly cooked. My brother-in-law enjoyed his tuna, nicely blackened outside and raw in the middle. My niece said the fish and chips were the best she's had in a long time; crispy, light, and tasty. The beer and wine were good and paired nicely with our meals. The only downside was the water, which had a strange taste. I'd suggest the restaurant offer complimentary bottled water. Overall, everyone enjoyed their meals, and we had a wonderful dining experience. I'd definitely come back, especially when it's warmer to enjoy the outdoor seating and beautiful bay view.

What a great find on the Delaware shore! I sat at the bar and received excellent service from the staff. They were clearly excited and sad that the season had come to an end, but were also very eager to help. They provided some great recommendations and suggestions. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted like it was actually "homemade". The crab soup was an amazing starter and is highly recommended! I'm sure this place has a great vibe in the "on-season" but even as their season was coming to a close, this location is hard to beat. Great location, old style yet not outdated coastal theme, and also a feeling of home.

We ended up here after driving into Delaware to check off this state. We received alerts that there might be coastal flooding and we did have to cross a slightly flooded parking lot to get into the restaurant. Thankfully the water wasn't very high though. The waiter was great and really nice. The only issue was she forgot our drink orders but quickly got them once we reminded her. We started with the crab stuff balls and they were great especially with the dipping sauce. They were full of crab so you wouldn't be left unsatisfied. The snow crab clusters were also great and simple. They didn't have any extra seasoning to put on them but they honestly didn't need it. I barely needed the butter either. Overall good experience

    The view is spectacular.

We had such a good time here. It's our 4th trip and every summer we look forward to going back. The food is fresh and well worth the journey. We sat outside. Crab cakes and salmon were very well prepared and flavorful. Can we also suggest that the coconut cake not be missed? Run to Jp's wharf. PS service was above and beyond the norm.

I went here on a Sunday for lunch. It was empty. The service was fast and friendly. I got the soft shell crab sandwich and peel and eat shrimp. Everything was delicious.

Nice clean restaurant and friendly atmosphere. We have tried different things when we were there but food lacks seasoning no flavor.

As we entered I realized I missed living in the North. North America is known for diners, pubs and sports bars. We went here the perfect time in the evening as the sun was setting. We were seated in a nice booth that had some good privacy. We also could look out the window at the pond adjacent to the property. Beautiful atmosphere. The server quickly came to take our drink amd appetizer orders. I do not remember the name of the drink it was so good I slurped it down. We ordered some wings, crispy and a burger. I could immediately tell that the burger was handmade and not pre-made meat. It was so fresh and chargrilled. Loved it. Everything was good.
