I placed an order for a bottle of Eagle Rare 10 yr which their website says in stock bourbon on July 23 and have not received it as of today. They completely ignore my latest email requests as to where my order is. This order was paid for by my credit card right away so there is no reason it should take this long to process and ship. I will file a claim with my credit card concerning this as i feel this is a scam. Also their website says free shipping on a first order and they charged me $15.50 for shipping. One of my fave spots, I make sure to hit up Tom and the gang every time down the beach. Amazing selection, great prices, and Tom is a character and a wonderful man. A true friend - stock up for your beach time because you aren't finding a better spot. When 25 year-old daughter was carded, the woman at the register accused her of having a false ID. The woman asked my daughter if she was an organ donor. My daughter said yes. The woman said, "no you're not. Get out of my store." The woman didn't realize that the symbol for being an organ donor is a red heart, which was on the license. I visited this retailer, for the first time, after doing an online search. Though, they have a nice selection of wines the staff is not very friendly and welcoming. Moreover the prices average 20% to 30% higher than other wine and liquor retailers in the area. Lastly, parking can be a challenge at the store is located in the downtown area. One of the best experiences I've had at a liquor store lately. The three people working at the store were all super friendly and helpful. I was surprised by the nice selection of wine, beer, and liquor here, as the store looks relatively unassuming from the outside. We even got to do a 9:30AM wine tasting of a pinot grigio and they invited us back for another tasting later in the day when one of their distributors was going to be in the store and doing samplings. read more

So I heard there were 2 owners and obviously one of them was there this day, he was absolutely pumped about his wares, and seemed to know everyone who walked in, laughing and joking continuously. He was older than me but had non-stop energy, very impressive. He steered us to a bottle or two and we left with 3 bottles of wine. Tiny store but a very good craft beer selection, well-thought wines, and of course hard liquor, both basic and high end. There was a gentleman here that was very helpful during our brief interaction but there was also a different gentleman who was so rude to me that I'll probably never go to this store again. When I walked in, he was complaining loudly to some other customers about a bad review that someone left, or something of that nature. When I was ready to ring out, he was still carrying that same loud conversation to other customers and didn't acknowledge me until he was ready for me to pay. He was probably joking when he insulted me that I "looked terrible for 24" but I thought that was a weird way to converse with someone you don't know. Then finally, when I asked for a bag of ice, he wiggled a lock at me and said "I'll give you a hint..I hope you have a high school degree". Pleasant shop with very friendly and helpful staff. Had a tasting going on--very nice Zinfandel from Lodi CA... and a great price. I was looking for something a little more special and they had a hard-to-find Rodney Strong Rockaway, 2012, #59 on WS top 100 for 2015. Nice surprise to find a top-rated wine like that here. The prices was equally surprising... $68.99 which is good compared to the release price of $75, and the store prices I have seen elsewhere up toward $80. Visiting from out of state and stopped in just to look at their beer selection. It was definitely worth the visit. They were doing a beer tasting for 3rd Wave, which proved quite impressive for a local brewery, and I ending up getting a 6 pack. While they​ do not have the space for a truly massive beer selection, it is still solid. You can tell care was put into offering a good selection of hard to find items. I was able to pick out a number of appealing singles, and had to pass on far more due to budgeting. I will make a point to try and stop in each time I am back in this area. read more

We were recently in Lewes, DE for a mid-week getaway - the 360 Dogfish Head package. Stayed at the Inn at Canal Square, and they recommended checking out this liquor store. We were immediately greeted by Tom, who was an immediate friend. He recommended so many good craft beers, and told us many stories about Lewes, DE. We only were checking out the beers (not the wine and liquor), which was a fabulous selection, including 16 Mile and Dogfish Head DE brews. Gentleman named Bob pointed me to two bottles, carries them to the counter for me, then brought over his resident beer expert to help me pick out a new IPA.
