Small, clean market with a surprisingly good selection. I stopped in for mustard and mayo and ended up finding a couple of brands I never see at the big supermarkets. The cashier was friendly, and having easy parking is a big plus.

Great selection of drinks, chips and all kinds of other snacks. Essential items too. Love the staff.

M & M is a longstanding market with a great selection of grocery, pantry and beverage options. I'm always surprised when I find spirits and craft beer on sale. The service is always the best and super friendly. It's got a lot of nostalgic touches from the layout to the checkout to the intimate isles definitely easier for one person at a time to the fully stocked shelves and cold as well as frozen items. You can find fresh produce on the far side of the store before the deli aka Hardy's which is on the North facing side of the market aka to the left when you enter. I personally don't have any use for the traditional meat side of things being plant-based, but they very do well. M & M markets caters to any and all they even carry some vegetarian/vegan as well as gluten-free products I find at the grocery store with slightly higher yet fair prices... To be expected considering they're a small biz with big business energy! I definitely try to bring home an item or three... Even more so when it's wine & spirits. I generally take the local Van Nuys - Studio City Dash bus over when in this neighborhood on the cusp of Sherman Oaks /start of Studio City. A lot of locals tend to frequent M & M Market both on foot and by vehicle... So the parking lot is never full even when they get busy and do they ever get busy! You can also purchase lottery tickets and scratchers here. Another win in my book. Scored $10 here on a scratcher and a free ticket last time. Definitely a solid place to pop in for a cold beverage or frozen treat on any day, but especially a summer day if you're passing by.

This review is especially for their Ralphs "Pickup" service…read more I shop using the Ralphs app. Using all the digital coupons in the app, I do all the meat shopping here. Kroger brand is always the best bargain because it's the parent company of Ralphs. With everything in my digital shopping cart, I checkout and order pickup for free the next day. An employee at this Ralphs finds everything for me and bags it up. They bring it to designated parking spots on the lower level. I very much appreciate this personal shopping service. In the app, make sure to select this Ralphs location for the greatest selection, as it is one of the best in Sherman Oaks. Your shopping Items are kept in a special refrigerated section, so it stays fresh until you arrive to pickup (according to the employee who brought me my groceries last time). If you do end up going inside this Ralphs to shop for yourself, it's one of the nicest ones I've been to in the Valley. Thank you to all employees who make this Ralphs excellent.

But don't worry, I could go pick them up at some random time tomorrow (I work an office job, that doesn't work for me) so instead of guessing when I might get groceries, I contacted customer service to help me cancel. Well only the store can cancel the order, so I got to waste 45 minutes with them only to have to go in and deal with this myself. Why have a customer service line if they literally can't do anything?

This will be my shortest review to date, but this Ralphs location has become my favorite Ralphs in…read morethe Valley for many reasons, especially today. I called the Seafood Department to place an order for some fried fish. I had called last Friday around 7:30 p.m. to order fish, but it was too late. Anyway, Adrian (sorry if I misspelled your name, sir) answered the phone and was very polite and courteous while taking my order. Now, this is a "you buy, we fry" service inside a grocery store, so I wasn't quite sure if I could call in an order. But after my last visit, where I placed an order and walked around the store while the fish was frying, I honestly didn't see why they wouldn't allow it. I originally wanted catfish fillets, but they were out. Adrian offered catfish nuggets as a substitute, but I passed. I then asked for red snapper or rockfish, but they had neither. I moved on to cod, but at $19.99 a pound, I said, "Not today." Finally, he told me they had tilapia for $10.99 a pound, so I ordered two pounds. He asked what seasoning I wanted, and I told him I wanted to try all three -- Cajun, lemon pepper, and one other that I can't remember. He told me it would be ready in 12 minutes, and when I arrived 12 minutes later, it was ready! It was fresh, hot, and delicious. I could hardly wait to get back home and eat it all lol. I will definitely be back next weekend. Thanks again, Adrian. :-)

I've gone here 3 times a week for 30 years, experiencing more good than bad...hence it is my go-to…read morestore. There are three big ongoing problems of note. 1. Cart management has been terrible. Just one example: after 10 extra minutes of my chasing a cart down, someone dumped my items on a table when I wasn't looking and ran off with my cart. I lost another 10 minutes finding a cart but did not have to re-shop for my now one-only pickings. Even more frustrating is that many carts are disabled because the strip that locks them activates five feet inside the parking ln some places. 2. Parking has gone from bad to worse as they designate many kinds of reserved spaces. 3. Shoplifting controls have rendered large areas of the store effectively unusable. Kroger is the most controlling grocer. I just wish they took us into account beyond figuring out to charge too much for average produce. I don't need 10 isles of beverages at the expense of other variety...their club scans are not noticing there are few people in those isles.

It has that calm, old school mom and pop market vibe that makes you want to stick around and browse. The women working there were very nice and super helpful. The sushi was wonderful. One tip though. Make sure you read the labels before grabbing your sushi. I accidentally picked up a few pieces made with brown rice, and personally I thought the ones made with white rice were much better. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

What makes this store special is the selection -- you can find so many unique products that you won't see in other grocery chains, including a lot of European-style foods. Some of our favorites are eggplant spread, sauerkraut, frozen sweet cheese pancakes (blinchiki), pork dumplings, and many other great items.
