Horrible experience - would not recommend- had to call the police due to miscommunication with elderly lady at front who told mechanic to do a diagnostic job for my belt sound, when all I agreed on was an oil change. Came to pick up my jeep and rude Elderly mechanic started yelling and cursing and threatening. MAKE SURE YOU GET IN WRITING THE SERVICE YOU REQUEST AND THE AMOUNT. I was having an issue with my 2016 Silverado. I went up and I talked with them and they told me what they thought it was and we made an agreement and a schedule. I dropped the vehicle off they took care of everything changed the oil do a complete tuneup and I have not had the problem that I was experiencing prior to having it worked on. They were very customer oriented, excellent customer service. They communicated with me well and explained everything that they were doing and done. read more

Man is this place great! If it weren't such a long drive from Pensacola, we'd bring the cars here every time. We were leaving vacation in Key West but woke up to two flat tires. We pulled in to M&M and we're greeted immediately even though there was a little line. They looked at the car and told us where we could grab a sandwich for lunch - we walked around the corner, ate a sandwich, came back and it was done! BAM $20(plus some well deserved tip!) and we were out! Highly recommend - incredibly kind and communicative and quick, reasonable, quality work! read more

I would never recommend this shop to anyone! Dishonest and clearly try to take advantage of Woman and Seniors! My wife was told her vehicle needed brake parts replaced that were still in perfect working order! When I asked to speak to the mechanic that made the determination about those parts I was told they do not allow customers to speak with their technicians. In what world is a customer who is having work done on his/her vehicle not allowed to ask or be shown what the problem is with that vehicle? Clearly a case of dishonesty and horrible business ethics! read more

Wow! I have met the best people at M&M Motors. They are friendly, professional and reliable. Got a busted water hose on my way to Key West on Thursday. Barely made it past the Seven Mile Bridge. (Not a place you want to break down), trust me on that. The tow truck came and took my vehicle to M&M Motors. Everyone was awesome. From the tow truck driver to the M&M Family. I call them that because they were all great. They went above and beyond to accommodate me. Couldn't find a water pump for me until the next morning. They suggested places to stay, where I could get great food and to offer a vehicle so I wouldn't be stranded. Again, my sincerest gratitude to everyone at M&M Motors for all your help. Just as we were pulling over 7 Mile Bridge we got a low tire warning. We found M&M Motors and they had us fixed in no time for only $10.

Dishonest! I was told I needed work done on my car that was unnecessary (brake calipers) The owner was nasty and her mechanic was vulgar when my husband asked for an explanation. Needless to say we took the car elsewhere and were reassured the calipers were fine! I was also charged $118 for that dishonest diagnosis. Great customer service. I brought my Jeep Wrangler in my radiator was shot. They put in a new one and all was fine for a couple months. But in the third month it over heated on the road. Got it back to check it out with them. They couldn't find a thing after pressure checking it. Left it over night and they found the thermostat had a buildup of too much silicone. They fixed that and put in a new one FREE of charge. Tim was great assuring me that if anything else happens to bring it back. That's the first time I've left the mechanic not feeling ripped off. This is a family run operation, and their customer service really shows that. We were on vacation and had the check engine light come on on our car. We took it to M&M, who despite being busy, did a quick diagnosis and a temporary fix. The temporary fix worked for a while, but the light came back on, and we didn't want to risk driving 500 miles pulling a trailer without a permanent fix. So M&M arranged to order the parts, and we made an appointment to come in the next morning. To save us downtime sitting there, they put two mechanics on it, and got the job done in about half the time it otherwise would've taken. Additionally, their prices are very fair, and everyone was very friendly. We loved their two big dogs, and they insisted on introducing them to our large dog. If you're going to have a breakdown, you should hope it's near this place. read more

I had an issue with my rental car yesterday when I was driving home from Key West when the check engine light came on that my coolant was low. Not knowing much about cars, the rental company told me to go to M&M. They could not have been more accommodating. They diagnosed the problem and had me back on the road in almost no time. Elizabeth and Rita are simply the best when it comes to customer service, and they really knew how to "rally the troops" and get the proper mechanics working on the truck. It is now in perfect running condition and it will be smooth sailing from here on out. We are grateful that M & M is right in the FL Keys and able to take care of all our truck and car needs. My grandma and grandpa who have lived here for over 20 years swears by m&m and having company in town with a broken vehicle I looked them up. Read these reviews on here and was concerned about sending my visitors to them! We double checked with my grandparents who were shocked at all of these reviews and went to see the people at m&m ... My father in-law hates other people looking at his truck and being with out tools he was at the mercy of m&m and never left his phone in case they called him. We were able to get the truck back in a short amount of time and my father in-law was thrilled! He said that he 100% will go back to them of ever the need! Now, my vehicle is in need of some help as it needed a new water pump. They were able to get a new part in for me and even willing to come in on a day the shop was closed so I can get my car and not be with out a vehicle longer than I need to be! What great people! This company changed my way over due oil and I asked them to check a door that would not open. Told me hinges were rusty and they oiled it. Got it home and noticed my door was all cracked and broken so when I brought it back they claimed it was like that, I hired another company to check NO rusty hinges no oil.. They lied.. The truth is there so called mechanic forced the door open and broke my door panel.. They actually told me they refuse to do business with me in the future. Going to a new mechanic is always stressful and being from out-of-town we hoped we wouldn't get taken advantage of. M & M didn't disappoint! We went in with AC issues in our car. We waited for our car to be looked at and relaxed in the office with some coffee and conversation. After an hour, Bob came in and explained everything to us. He was extremely frank and honest with the diagnosis and what needed to be done. Beware of the friendly face at the desk. Went in to get air conditioning fixed on my truck and paid $120 plus to have it estimated and diagnosed. Said was compressor and $800 to replace and charge system, labor included for drying system before charging it. Next day I was told that there was metal in the system and it was going to be another $250 plus for cleaning system and new dryer and filter. At home later that day got a call and was told condenser was clogged and another $350 to replace and clean system. Next day was tol fan that cools system needed replaced and another $350 before he would charge system. Beware!! read more

Got stranded nearby and grandpa suggested this place. We limped the car there on a back road and once there, they took amazing care of us. Used to be great but the management changed and it is really below my minimum expectations, even for the keys :-( I had been taking both of my vehicles there for regular service since moving here a few years ago. Service was always done correctly and at fair prices. Sadly, it has taken a sharp turn for the worse with new management (possibly the original management minus their front desk guy, I really don't know). I always went in with a check list written down, what I wanted checked, serviced, what type oil etc... Always was like clockwork before the change a few months ago (around summer 2014) Last visit, the pits! Half of the items not done, she said oops! Charged almost double my previous bills! We have used M&M for 30 years, but since the "original" owners took it back over-(who knows if this story is true) we had a bad experience. I drove the car in to be diagnosed and said not sure if worth fixing, its really old. They came back with an estimate of nearly $1000 for a fuel pump and were very snotty when I said no, not worth it. Said they had ordered parts already and tried to muscle me when I said no, not paying $1000. Then she said, well the car doesnt start now, how will you get it out of here? So the car will not start(!!??!!) and I have to have it towed. I paid them $90 for the diagnosis also. Started out nice, but ended up hostile and snotty. read more

EXTREMELY RUDE PHONE STAFF!!!! I am new to the area and just called for a simple quote for a synthetic oil change and the person on the phone said it was $20 plus the cost of filter and oil. When I asked if I could have the total cost given my vehicle make and model, she said she didn't have it. I said I would leave my name and number and could she call me back with an exact price. She them stated she could not it now, but I needed to know the engine size. She told me to look under the hood but I couldn't find the engine size under the hood so I said that I would look elsewhere. She stated "Good Luck with that." Very sarcastic, hostile and definitely unhelpful! I am sure that she had the ability to get the engine size from the VIN but didn't want to make any effort. read more
