I attempted a plunger for quite a while, to no avail. I took off the J-trap, knowing it was clean..which it was. I even attempted to run a drain snake through the now exposed drain pipe. I made it in about 5 feet, before the piped turned, stopping my snake. The snake didn't do anything. I was then recommended to use Peterson Drain. Even though it was Sunday at 5pm, I called him. He answered!, was polite and said he'd be by in 30 minutes, at no additional charge. Wow! He was in my home for about 30 minutes. My drain snake was a Gardener snake. His snake was an Anaconda on steroids. By the time he was done, he said he ran nearly FIFTY FEET into my drainage. He said my drainage was basically as clean as new pipes. His charge for what I viewed as a weekend emergency Sunday evening call, was less than $100. Simply amazing. Since my pipes are like new now, I told him to expect a call nineteen years from now, to clean them again. :-D
