The only thing I wanted for Christmas was a 2-up seat for my teenage daughter. We sent both our sleds for service. While working on my sled, the mechanic with the coolest Minnesota accent explained that my wires were melted. (Backstory, we have traumatic experience with vehicles that blow up). The melted wires were close to the gas tank and minutes from destroying the electrical components of the sled. We've met many sled mechanics and M&M has the BEST! I can't rave enough about M&M. I contacted dealer related to specific sled listed for sale to see if it was still available. I was told yes it was still available. The next day I went to the bank and took out a loan for the sled. Before traveling 3 hours to get there, I called the dealer because I didn't see the sled on the website inventory. The same person told me they sold the sled 3 weeks ago. Basically lied to get us to come to the dealership. He continued to offer us lame deals of 1 year old sleds with "ONLY" 4000 miles on them. They rent them out so I'm guessing they all have high miles. Thanks for nothing. Wanted to warn others before traveling to Houghton. read more

They did great work on a recall for my motorcycle, so that's good. At the same time it was in, my rear brake master cylinder wasn't working and I was trying to figure out why. So I asked them to top off the reservoir and try bleeding them. I also had them replace 3-4 miscellaneous fairing bolts because ordering $1 bolts from Suzuki costs $22 to ship. I got the bike back and received my bill. They couldn't get the reservoir to push brake fluid so fine, whatever. But they charged an entire hour of labor plus parts for 3 crappy bolts from inventory that have rusted already, and they missed one! So $80 for 3 bolts and 2 oz of brake fluid. I could have gone back and asked for the missing bolt but feared the extra hour of labor cost it would take to find that 4th bolt. To top it off, I got the rear brake to work myself. Apparently they don't know how to bleed a brake. At least they were quick with the recall. In and hour in less than a day. read more

Will NEVER rent from here again. Had a bad experience a few years ago where we rented an ATV and it was smoking when we left. We asked about it and Chad said it was normal. Well, when it blew up because it had NO oil Chad got all pissy and said it was our fault because we didn't check the oil. Flash forward to this past Memorial Day. We decided we would give them another chance. Rented a Wolverine x4. Went trail riding with a bunch of friends. Considering it's spring and there has been tons of rain there are quite a few puddles, but it's a UTV and it's built for that. We didn't go through anything deep but by lunch the engine shut down. So here we are on the side of the trail, 4 miles from the trail head trying to fix the machine so we can go on with our day. (We had 3 mechanics riding with us so it shouldn't have been a problem) except the problem was the intake tube wasn't tight and fell off allowing all the water from the puddles to get into the engine. Now instead of asking Chad to come out to the trail to get the machine like any of his other customers would, we tow the machine back to the road. We didn't ask for a new machine. Honestly I would've been happy with a partial refund but Chad said we are lucky he didn't charge us for a whole new engine. All because HIS mechanics didn't check over the machine well enough before sending it back out. read more

They have excellent customer service and have always done a great job taking care of us for any of our powersport needs. We have rented units from them (ATV's and Boats), purchased units from them (Snowmobiles), and utilize their service team and parts department. They are always competitive on price, and have an awesome location in Hancock; Right on the ATV/Snowmobile trail and close to the water for all boat and jet-ski rentals. I was overcharged horribly for a Honda battery by the service department! Chad Admitted that the battery was way over priced after reviewing the receipt. He did nothing to correct the problem! Don't trust these guys or do business with them!!!! Save yourself the headache! read more

I live 20 miles away from this business. A coil or something blew on my snowmobile; I paid $80 and off I went. But the coil fried again. It blew because a different part was bad. But wait. There's more! I called them and told them what happened. They sent out a snowmobile tow to my location, picked up my machine, and fixed it AGAIN!!!! under warranty. No charge for tow; no charge for second fried coil AND, this machine was out of warranty by 14 months, but they called Yamaha on my behalf and said "This part should not wear out this quick." Yamaha agreed. I couldn't believe it. Considering I did not buy the snowmobile from them, this level of customer service is unbelievable. Does this place live for customer service? Yes they do! I'm a Yooper and I truly do not see this kind of service any place else. read more

I just wanted to say that I recently visited M&M power sports on a recent snowmobile trip and was having a problem with my sled not running correctly. I had recently purchased a new 2016 Arctic cat from a different dealer (more local to me) and had gone inside to the parts counter and explained the symptoms my sled was having. A gentleman overheard me behind the desk and said he would take a look at it for me. It was a very simple fix that he diagnosed and took my sled in the shop right then and there and de-iced down my throttle that was iced up from the previous day of riding. I am not sure who the gentleman was but I just wanted to say Thankyou again for taking the time to look at my sled and completing the service free of charge. I had traveled 12 hours to go riding to the UP and I could have lost a whole of sledding not knowing what the problem was. Thankyou M&M sports for your Superior service.
