Update: Its been about 3 years since I got my tattoo from Lauren here. I had previously gave a 3 star review because despite her messing it up and being incredibly rude, the rest of the staff was nice and I didn't want to be harsh. I ended up getting the tattoo fixed by someone else since ($200 out of my pocket to fix her mistake), but it still is pretty fucked up from the parts the artist couldn't go over anymore or fix because the ink blew out. Its one thing that its a bad design but its also technically awful- the remaining lines that haven't been gone over are atrocious and the application of the tattoo was obviously done wrong because it caused a blow out. For whatever reason I just got an email from her asking me to take down my review, which is what inspired me to make this update. Unless you guys want to refund me or pay for my tattoo removal, then I will be keeping it up. If I have to live with a butchered tattoo on my arm, you can live with a shitty review. Also, isn't the whole point of yelp to have customers review businesses so prospective customers can make a informed decision? Not to mention its super shady to be trying to get people to take down their bad reviews. You permanently fucked up my arm, so obviously I am not going to recommend people come here lmao. Just got my first tattoo done by Robin and it was amazing. I was nervous at first for it since it was my first and I was getting roman numerals with a brain cancer ribbon around it. The roman numerals were spaced out perfectly and very clean so it's easy to see. I was originally going to get the ribbon filled in grey but i wasn't sure if I could tolerate it and they were so understanding and just did shading in black in some spots. I definitely recommend!! Helix pierced by Tami, hurt no more than a flu shot therefore highly recommended for that point alone! It's been a few days and it's healing well with the H2Ocean after piercing spray they sell. Clean facility with privacy. The only thing I wished happen was that I was able to spend more time looking through and discussing the different jewelry options. The whole process felt a bit rushed while there was no line and the piercing only took a few minutes. At first, I was only offered regular post and back studs (not sure whether the piercing gun was intended), but I insisted on a barbell so Tami quickly selected one rather then letting me take a careful look, especially since I can't change it for months. She told me it required a different piercing method vs the original stud, which was fine by me. My piercing was ultimately done with a hollow needle rather than the gun (thank goodness!). My tip, don't be shy and ask questions to make sure you get exactly what you want! read more

At the ripe old age of 72, I decided to get my very first tattoo for my birthday. I was first impressed by the shop itself, which is large and very clean. I loved their set-up which included very comfortable seating and lots of beautiful artwork to enjoy while waiting, which I believe is all or mostly for sale. The next thing that impressed me was the efficiency of their staff in welcoming and setting up the customers for their service, which included very friendly treatment. Last, but certainly not least, was the talent of the young man who provided my first tattoo. His name is Isaac, and I am more than happy to recommend him to anyone, especially a first-timer like myself. He was so very patient with me. And what he accomplished has won a great many praises from my friends and family. So all in all, two thumbs very high up for this location and this particular artist. This is my 5th tattoo I have gotten at M&M and they always provide a very clean and comfortable environment, as well as excellence service! Everyone who has tattooed me at M&M's has always done a fantastic job, But I was blown away at the costumer service I received this time from Issac. Issac called me and worked with me over the phone and e-mail (since I live in Colorado) to get the design I wanted. When I told him how small I wanted the tattoo he was honest with me and said that I would lose a lot of the details. I really appreciated how he worked with me to get a size I was comfortable with but still looked beautiful. He made sure to let me know that he had set aside plenty of time for my tattoo (and my sisters) so he could really make sure I was happy with the finished product. Issac is very easy to talk to and he understood the vision I had for my tattoo which made me very comfortable with letting him add the details and shading he thought would look best. I am very happy I trusted him, my tattoo turned out better than I imagined. First of all, this tattoo I got was super detailed and I brought the idea to Ben and he told me he could do it all in one day. I was happy about the idea but was a bit hesitant bc I know usually it would take more than a day sitting. Anyway, Ben was the man through the whole process, finished in one day just like he said he would and it's lookin fresh as shit! I will be back to finish the rest of the sleeve but listen, if you are looking for an artist that knows his art through and through then you came to the right spot.
