Yeah, hope you never get stuck in Van Horn during a holiday weekend. Broke down about 30 miles from.Van Horn and my car was towed to this place by the tow truck who wax buddies with the owner of M & M. Couldn't figure out the issue with my car despite having it for 4 days. Since there are no Uber's or Taxi's out there and it's 120 miles to El Paso, had to get a ride from his uncle or someone like that to take me to the El Paso airport where I could get a rental to visit my Dad in Arizona. Think they took full advantage of me and my situation. Tow truck overcharged me for the tow and then Celso with his inability to fix my car. Ended up selling car to him and off course he didn't fully pay me once he got the title. So yeah, hope this never happened to you. My bad luck to get stuck and then run into these guys. read more

My RV developed an overheating problem outside of Van Horn. I was able to get it to the shop and they diagnosed and fixed the problem.I was able to get on my way.They were willing to do the work where others had turned me down. A and A tried to charge me 650 dollars for a 3 mile tow. I highly recommend M and M. read more

I wouldn't even give him 1 star!! Shame on Celso!! Shame on him for lying to me for 4 days leaving me stranded in van horn!! Telling me he's on his way to pick me up, I waited 2 hours and figured I'd been sitting in this hotel for 4 days i might as well make the 1/2 walk. I call when I get there because nobody is there and he says are you ready? Ah noooo I'm at your shop, OK he's on his way again, again a half hour later I gave up and walked back to my hotel! This was 1pm, 7pm he calls and tells me to bring out 150.00 cash to the guy in the parking lot and he'll give me my keys. At this point I've been stranded for 4 days with my dog, my car and uhaul had been at his shop. I had to call the police to get my keys back! Shame on him!! Manuel was recommended by the local RV park. Discovered a water leak in our fifth wheel during a road trip. Tried half dozen shops through NM and TX on the road...no one had time for us. Called Manuel at 5:30pm. He was at our campsite within 10 minutes and went to work. He found the leak behind the shower and removed the old hose. Manuel went to a local hardware shop and found a similar hose and clamps getting us back to good in an hour! Honest, hardworking, and worked a little magic for us for a reasonable fee...no more leak! On the road from Austin and discovered our vintage (50 year old) travel trailer lost the running lights; called M&M Wrecker and within 45 minutes they were at our RV park and fixed the ground to the back tail light...fast, efficient and honest...highly recommend them for any RV or trailer repair!!! read more

I called M&M to see if they would come to do a repair. "I'll do that, be out about 1:30", which was about an hour & 1/2 away. Never came. So if you are in need of repair or tow, better call someone else. There are several in the area. read more

Based on other Yelp reviews, stopped here on the way out of Van Horn heading west with our travel trailer that we thought might have a slow leak in one of the tires. Saw Manuel that morning and scoped out the location to make sure we had room to park out front. Came back with travel trailer and Manuel and the other employee removed and thoroughly inspected tire, coming to conclusion no leak and ensure all tires were properly inflated. They probably spent 15 minutes together literally checking every square inch of the tire. Charged me $10, and happily paid him $20, and we were on our way. read more

I found the owner to be very honest and very helpful, our car broke down near Van Horn on our way to Florida, we got it towed here...the owner came out at 9 pm to take a look at it for only $50, he right away said that it's not fixable that night and gave my family a ride to a hotel, he diagnosed the card further in the morning and honestly said that it's not worth fixing at all due to serious engine issue, he then arranged for me to be taken to El Paso to rent a car by his friend for a very reasonable fee, and then after we already left, he met with a tow truck guy that I arranged to get the car towed to a junk yard...all of this help for just $50...I was very relieved and grateful for all of this help without someone trying to overcharge me or rip me off. read more

Manuel is honestly one of the kindest people I've had the pleasure of meeting. I broke down in Plateau and he towed me to his shop. They weren't able to fix anything because it was a BMW and nobody in town can really source parts but since I could fix it he parked it on the side of the shop in the shade for me. He kept an eye on it because it took a couple days for me to diag and source parts from El Paso and Albuquerque. He even offered to loan me his trailer to stay in on the side of the shop. Our car broke down in the middle of nowhere a week after purchasing from a dealer back home in Phoenix. We had it towed to m&m. They quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed the van and we were able to pick it back up. Staff is friendly and knowledgable and worked with us so that the dealer could handle the repair costs. read more

This wrecker service is excellent! Broke down on I-10 an hour away from Van Horn, and Manuel sent a mobile mechanic to my location and he fixed my wheel bearing and had us on our way quickly. Awesome guys, very helpful! They saved the day. read more

2/15-2/19/18 - My husband and I were traveling across country in our truck, pulling a camper. The oil casing went (pretty big job), and we noticed it (luckily) at a gas station (over 115 miles away). Again, luckily, the woman at the station gave us the name of M&M Wrecker and I called him. I asked him how soon could he fix it, he said as soon as he got the part. Van Horn (a town of less than 2000), is literally isolated, and is over an hour away from any large town. Luckily (again), I had Good Sam which set me up with a tow for both the truck and my camper! The camper was dropped off at a nearby campground, and then the truck was brought directly to M&M. He had to take some time to get the part, but all in all, we were only inconvenienced by 5 days. As soon as he could get the part, he fixed it. We just got home to Massachusetts last week. The price was what we expected, the owner/ mechanics could not have been nicer, and we had no further problems getting home! I am so grateful I was given the name of this business. Not that I'll ever be in that area again, but if I was, I would DEFINITELY go here to get my vehicle fixed! read more

Our car broke down in Van Horn on our way to Utah. Found this place on Yelp and called him. He drove out to where we were to see if he could fix it on the spot. He was unable to so he towed us to his shop. We needed a new fuel pump, unfortunately. He only charged us $300 for everything and only took two hours to fix it. Amazing!!!
