Extremely friendly workers here at the largest M&M store in the world! I am still baffled by the fact that M&M's World stores do not carry all their varieties of M&M's! I did a "study," as it were, in the M&M World in Manhattan on this phenomenon and got a half-hearted and confused response. Something about the M&M business plan? I am still unsure. Regardless, this M&M World had a large wall (not as large as the one in Manhattan) of awesomely colored M&M's in the original chocolate and peanut M&M varieties. What is really cool about this store is its homage to London. There are various statue-esque things around the store featuring M&M characters and London landmarks (i.e. four M&M characters walking across Abbey Road). The selection of products is vast at this M&M World! From shot glasses with handles to seemingly racist chopsticks and sushi dishes, this M&M store really has it all. If you are an M&M lover THIS is the store you want to visit. It's HUGE and filled with endless M&M treasures. There is nothing you can't find in this store that is double M related and you will find things you probably never thought of. With that said, I walked out empty handed because the prices are ridiculous and even though I'm not a chocolate fan (at all) I noticed they were missing some very crucial flavors. I saw no coconut and peanut butter flavored M&M's...maybe I missed them but I don't think so. I definitely searched for the coconut flavor. I give them a 3 star because all the photo opportunities they have are a lot of fun for the tourists. As far as tourist locations, this place is wonderful. (Although, if you're working on your itinerary right now, do NOT prioritize this place over historical sites. There are plenty of other things to see and do in London besides looking at chocolates.) As far as buying gifts for people back home, I'd recommend going somewhere else. It's a bit pricey and not that London-specific to justify buying something as a souvenir. The store set-up is phenomenal. I did not buy anything in here since they all cost an arm and a leg, especially what you are getting. Cool place to visit if you love chocolate, especially if you love M&M's candy. A lot of cute souvenirs to take home. Get on the underground or as they call it "The ube". Take the Piccadilly line which is the dark blue color on the tube map and get off at Leicester square. The tube cost vary according to how much times you will be using it and how long. M and M world is a place which I visited to get my friend a gift on a recent trip to London, it is a very busy place that plays the new music in the charts, what is music which I despise and even late at night it is as busy as it would be any other time of day, so don't think you will be getting more samples at any other time of day or something cheaper than you would. I left empty handed on my visit because the store was so expensive, just for a few m and ms it could cost 7 pounds what could not be much than what you would get from Tesco or Morrisons in a packet. This place is over quite a few floors and does let you print on M and M's for special occasions and the lift is shaped like a London Red Telephone box, this is a very touristy place. Some of the products you could get was very extreme m and ms in chamagne bottles, tshirts, keyrings, bottle openers, teddys, cushions, everything you could name! After all It is only chocolate not some sort of football team or brand that will be good whatever way you put it. The only m and m related item they don't sell is peanut butter M and Ms, the chocolate is what people go for so they should improve their range of that instead of getting new t-shirts and keyrings etc. This shop is nice for Children but to be honest, they will be wanting every single item here, tshirts and if you do visit it will end up costing you a fortune, compared to buying them a few packets of m and ms. I have never understood the popularity of M and ms or the franchise with these m and m world stores selling everything you could want (or not want), after all like I said it is a chocolate treat but to charge so much for it here as well as m and m merchandise what it just silly. OMG! This place is enormous! I thought it would be a little bit of candy around a few shelves. But... nooooo. I think my first sign that this was going to be little bit different than I thought was when I saw the dancing M&M in the lobby area. It was the green M&M. People were going nuts trying to get a photo with her or him. I'm not sure if it was the go-go boots green had on or the fact that there was dancing involved but whatever the reason, I stayed away so I was not trampled. OMG! There is so much crap to buy in this place! I felt like I was at a theme park for M&M's. I was looking for oompa-loompas in the candy room; but, found several hard working ladies in there instead. Having never visited an M&M's world and coming across this place purely by accident, it was fun! Don't expect much, and I don't know that I'd go across the city to get to this place, but it's a fun place to spend 30 minutes or so. Don't expect to leave without buying a Tshirt, or Boxer Shorts, or a golf club cover, or some other kitschy M&M/London branded merch. Pleasant surprise. I would say this is the place to come if you love chocolate, however in honesty it isn't because if you did, you would go to Tesco and buy a huge multi-pack for £2 or something. As soon as you walk into M&M World, you are hit with the warm smell of chocolate (which is a hugely clever marketing ploy) and of course, this makes you hungry for it. My only disappointment is that there are no free samples and no staff walking around in giant m&m costumes with a tray or chocolates. Sad face :( They have great displays and an amazing zone downstairs where you can watch some guys fill pots with coloured chocolates. The best bit for me is definitely the huge funnels of M&M's sorted by colour where you can fill up your own bag and pay by weight. Be warned, this can get addictive...and pricy! The cost of chocolate in this store is more than it would in the supermarket so be prepared to pay over and above the usual price tag. Definitely worth it if you're around Leicester Square though. read more

This store is a definition of Marketing ! It's amazing, on 4 floors, you can find everything branding M&M's. In the same way, you can do some funny pictures with the different M&M's statues Red, Blue, Yellow... Nevertheless, except the fact that you can find the chocolate sweets in many different colours, I was disappointed because you can't find the M&M's with peanut butter but only the M&M's with peanut (the classic) or just with chocolate (the smallest). read more

Absolutely brilliant.visited late saturaday night not too busy lot of photo opportunities. Pic with m n m London guards, princesses, in cars,playing football,just stood there looking cute,crossing their own street and on their own bus. We came across this shop by accident when walking through central London. We never even knew it existed before that. I must admit i was a little ecstatic when i saw it, M & M's being amongst my favourite kind of chocolate. Even better is when you walk inside and realise there is not just one floor to this shop, but four. M & M heaven!!! There are t-shirts , sleepwear , mugs ,soft toys, and more all with the M & M logo, name or design of some sort to buy. Also is the usual actual chocolates in all kinds of containers....and you can mix and match , get your own flavours made and have writing put on them. Paintings of M & M figures in different costume line some of the walls and large M & M figures of football player , car driver , etc are around the floors. All in all a M & M lovers paradise and a definite must to visit if in London. Chances are you will be going by this way anyway so why not pop on in and satisfy your chocolate desires and also buy some different kind of London souvenir. ( By the way there is one of these shops recently opened in Shanghai , so when we visited there we went along to see what that was like but we were disappointed as it is nowhere near as good as the London one.) read more

I still can't believe I did it after I managed to avoid this place on my trip to NY. But seeing EVERY single person with yellow M&Ms shopping bag last Sunday in central London made me somehow want at least see why. And it's a 4-floor mad house! As much as a big kid as I am, melting down each time I see cuddly Winnie the Pooh I completely don't understand why people buy stuff with the smiley faces of M&Ms chocolates! And saying stuff, I mean, EVERYTHING, from gold clubs through plates to baby stuff. I don't understand why do people go cvrazy about this place as the candies are not much different from those bought in the supermarket. I don't think it makes any difference to my mouth whether it eats blue, green and red M&Ms rather than pink, purple and brown. And all these forced British accents, M&Ms as king Henry the VIII, M&Ms pretending to be the Beatles crossing the Abbey Road, that's insane! There's even machines on which you can "test" what colour of M&Ms suits you best. But well, what could you expect from an American company, it has too be blown out of proportion and entertaining. This place was made for tourists yet has nothing to do with London. I was in the area and had never been in so went in just because. How am I supposed to review this place? It's full of fucking m&ms. You can design your own m&m if you like, maybe write profanities on them and offer them about to see people's faces as they realise your act of kindness is actually insulting them. That's my sense of humour anyway, but you do you. Get your name on them like some kind of boring hubristic sap, I don't care. There's loads of 'memorabilia' of sorts in there, like an m&m in a bond car which you CANNOT sit in (I was devestated) and an Abbey road style scene. I'm not going to list all the stuff, the place was huge and it's a good 20 minutes of amusement (ok maybe I do things quite quickly, everyone in there was floating about like clouds.) I'm going to compliment them on the fact there was little queues, due to multiple pay stations - so I'd for whatever reason you actually device to part with your hard earned tourist monies, then they're not going to keep you waiting. read more

Staff were amazing, cheerful, helpful and interested to know what you think of the store. Sadly it's not enough to make it worth my while going there again. Plain or peanut m&m only. NO flavours. This is due to some EU regulations regarding ingredients and they are working on getting something sorted out. Very loud music playing. It took a while to find the wall of chocolate! It's expensive.
