Car was brought here after an accident. They parked it all the way in the back with other cars so I could barely get my stuff out of the car. Mind you, my handicapped father was with me at the time and he almost fell trying to get to where our car was. They didn't let me bring my car in to help get my stuff out of the car. Greedy and unprofessional. We got into a car accident(not at fault) early today. The officers said we can get our stuff out the car but of course the driver was rushing us. I left my parking pass. I call to ask if I can come and pick it up and they proceeded to tell me that I would have to get a release from to get the car and I would have to pay 250 to get it release to me. I told him we are working with the insurance now and it will be up to 48 hours. I'm pregnant and due any day now. I wanted to wait for AAA because it wasn't a crime scene but due to the officers impatience and the the tow truck greed they didn't allow us to wait. Now they are being completed dick heads and hanging up the phone and refuses to answer our calls. I will definitely reporting them to the BBB. read more

I don't even know where to begin, but dealing with this tow company was by far one of the worst experiences of my life! These people are unprofessional, rude, and dishonest thieves. I have a friend who suffers from Mental anxiety, and depression. She had an episode, and unfortunately left my vehicle unattended in Oxon Hill MD. by the Wilson Bridge on the Maryland side. Police were on the scene, and M & N Towing towed the vehicle back to their lot in Temple Hills MD, approximately 10 miles away. The next day I called precisely at 8AM when they opened, and a very rude woman answered the phone telling me no one was in the office, and I would have to call back at 9AM when someone was in the office. I called back at 9AM, and this time spoke to a guy. I explained the situation, and described the vehicle. I asked how much it was to release the vehicle, and he told me he didn't know because he wasn't in the office, and he wouldn't be there for 30 minutes. I felt they were giving me the run around at this point, and I let him know it. He also told me I was going to be charged a maintenance fee in addition to the tow. I inquired of what kind of maintenance fee, and was told that whatever it as the Police had to do, which turned out to be nothing!! When I got to the tow yard, there were no signs up to indicate towing expenses, just a sign to show the hours from 8AM - 6PM. My vehicle was trashed on the inside with all the contents of the glove compartment emptied out on the floor. Once I retrieved the registration, and keys from the vehicle, I had to go to a gated window which was only raised about three inches. Once again I looked for signs of tow rates, but didn't see any signs of tow rates which is regulation for a tow company to display. I was then given a ridiculously high tow rate, plus a maintenance fee, and two (2) days worth of storage fees, although the vehicle was only on the tow lot for approximately 24 hours. Of course I did not agree with these exorbitant prices, and let the gentleman know about it. the only reason I didn't press the issue more is because I had to go to work, and was already late, plus I had arranged for my neighbor to drop me off, and I did not want to detain him unnecessarily, so I had to unfortunately pay these ridiculously high prices, which seemed to have been made up!! I would strongly encourage anyone who needs the tow services of a tow company "NOT" to use M & N Towing in Temple Hills MD. They will rip you off!! read more

My car was involved in an accident. The towing company came to the scene MN and picked my car up rushing To take my car. I was told I could get my belongings the following morning on the yard. When I went to go get my things I was told I had to pay astronomical fees. They are very shady. I do not recommend anyone to use this towing company. read more

M&N was dispatched through State Farm, initial ETA was "within 180 minutes". After an hour I called back, was told I was next and probably in 45 minutes. After another hour I called back, got a rude dude who could careless, and told me another hour. On contacting State Farm, they said the towing company cancelled the order?! M & N was dispatched by USAA to pick up my broken down car.The original ETA was 50 minutes. After a halph hour the ETA was an additional hour. Near the end of that hour I received a message from USAA that the M & N truck had broken down. The whole time I was unable to get M & N on the phone, just a busy signal. After waisting 1.5 hours with M&N, USAA dispatched Tuck & Tow Towing with an ETA of one hour. They arrived on time, did everything right, dropped me off at the rental car and even called me when they dropped the car off at the dealer. Many thanks to Kevin for great service. Looks like nothing changed at M&N in the last year. Too bad I didn't request USAA to send another company. From start to finish, THIS COMPANY'S SERVICE IS PATHETIC!!! The female answering the phone sounded barely literate and couldn't care less about getting the truck to me at a reasonable time. This company continued to tell my insurance/roadside assistance contacts (USAA) "one hour" to get a flatbed tow truck to a location ONLY A MILE AND A HALF FROM THEIR HEADQUARTERS!!! Apparently at M&N when they say ONE HOUR they REALLY mean THREE HOURS!!! To top it all off, NOT ONE WORD OF APOLOGY FROM ANYONE at this company for making me wait an obnoxious amount of time in pouring rain! Too bad there's no ZERO option to drive their average as low as possible. I have already recommended and will continue to recommend to USAA to TAKE THIS COMPANY OFF THE ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE LIST!! I was in a 1 car accident and they refused to give me my belongings I had to call the State and County police. I was able to retrieve my belongings only after signing over the title which I did not have to but I did not know only to go in my truck and find that they had stolen all of my work related tools and my iPhone 6s plus. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST company to deal with. My daughter was in an accident last night and transported to the hospital via ambulance. Her vehicle was towed by M&N. I called this morning to find out what needs to be done in order to retrieve items from her car because the vehicle is totaled. I was told by JOE that I needed to obtain a vehicle release from the police department and that I needed to pay the bill before I'm able to retrieve anything from the truck. I informed JOE that the other motorist's insurance company would be responsible for payment since my daughter was rear-ended and he said that they would need to pay before I could retrieve anything from the vehicle. I questioned the reason for the policy and he hung up on me. I called him back to explain that I was still talking when he hung up and that, as a business owner, his goal should be to provide the best customer service possible. He began to yell and told me that he was going to hang up again because he didn't 'need to hear this.' It is clear that this company cares nothing about taking care of people and their property. DO NOT use this company. If you are desperate, and must use this company, please inquire about their license and insurance. I am currently chasing down the company to pay $462 in damages due to the tow rep. ripping the tow hook on my car. After accepting the liability, the manager (???- Mike) backed out because I asked for the check up front, or something in writing. He got upset. I offered to work through the insurance. He declined. He then said he would deny damaging my car. Afterwards, I decided to pursue them legally. There is not much information available to the public. I don't think the company is registered with the state. It's safer to go with another tow truck company. Don't get caught going through a legal shuffle with these guys. Very disappointed with the customer service or lack there of. We had our rental car towed from the Esplanade. I am that person that will admit it was our fault, but when we got to the towing yard it all went downhill. The sign said it opened at 8am, but that didn't happen. We talked to the tow truck drivers who told us they don't release cars. I was okay with that, but when asked after about a half hour or so could they call someone all they said was the owners were out of town and nothing else happened. FINALLY after an hour of waiting someone showed up . We waited another 10 minutes for her to let us in and then she offered no apologies for being late except to say after my husband made a comment about getting a late start she said something like that. We were suppose to be on the road at 7am instead we got on the road at 9:15am. I felt like I made one mistake and paid for it twice. The individual who runs their phones is incompetent at best. Although I called several times after USAA dispatched them to pick up car, the woman claimed that USAA "cancelled" my tow. That is a total lie. I called USAA who said that they were expecting the tow truck momentarily and NEVER cancelled the tow. My husband ended up standing in the cold for four hours while we figured out the mess. And while mistakes happen, the woman answering the phone sounded sleepy, out of it and was completely unhelpful. They said i was not allowed to park in visitors with a parking pass even though there were no spots left available but visitor parking!!!
