I visited today with my daughter because she's been sailing coins for months & it was finally time to make that big deposit. Now I've been down this road before, usually when you want to deposit a large amount of coins the banks will tell you they have to be all rolled up first then send you home to start the tedious task but not today. I was pleasantly surprised when the teller gave us wrappers, sorting machines & a little coin holder that allows you to slide the rolls into the paper very easily. Then.... get this.... she points us to a lounge in the back with tables, chairs, a TV, tea & coffee where we can sit and get down to business!!! How about that!?!? Every time I interact with Navy Federal they surprise me in a great way every time! The staff was so pleasant and friendly. Another teller even came over during our rolling time & complemented my daughter on her saving habits! It really made her feel good.

I had thought I was on a list with another branch and forgot to inquire about them at this particular location. I called at 11:40AM and asked and was told "Absolutely we have ones available, what time would you like to come in?" I was told that the representative had a few appointments and whatever worked for her would be fine, I was told 1PM. That's not bad! I went in was done 20 minutes later. The representative that was supposed to help me was tied up with another client and someone else helped be, but he was equally as helpful and very friendly. Most of that 20 minutes was spent just BSing about things. Sure banks are businesses and will bend over backwards to get your money, but there's customer service and then just people that don't care. These people are very friendly and you can tell that they're genuine, not faking it to make you feel good!

I liked that, as i use TD but their ATM is outside, which in the cold can be hard. A con is that the ATM was a little slow to load, but it could be doing things like vertifying that it is real money or checks. It was very easy to deposit money using the atm. Trying to use them again now for another car loan and it's been atrocious. No follow up, agents that can't help will just hang up, weeks after initial app, still not funded. Closed out the loan app and went w another bank...closed on loan I. 3 days. Funded and done. PFCU couldn't seem to unscrew themselves after I had called so many times fkr the same issues. Just horrible.

Although I also hold accounts with another commercial bank that caters to military I always use PFCU for my auto loans. Not only are their rates the best around the process and service is superb. When I was 20 and no one would give me a loan for a new car PFCU did. I have found them to be incredibility service oriented at every branch I have dealt with. Our daughter just applied for a car loan. This 24 year old just starting out was able to buy the car of her dreams after less than an hour with the representative. I didn't have to co-sign so she got it all based on her own credit. I suspect that many of the negative reviews posted here would qualify for Paul Harvey's "The Rest of the Story" lines.
