M&T Grout Experts just came out to re-caulk, clean and seal my master bathroom. My grout was discolored in some places and there was a tiny bit of mold in the corners of the shower that bothered me. So, after years of thinking about it and caulking it myself, I finally bit the bullet. I am glad I did. I only have good things to say about them! I emailed on a Sunday, and had it done that Friday morning. I needed it done in a week due to an upcoming surgery, and they kindly squeezed me in. The communication was great. I sent photos and they gave me an estimate that day. They followed up with emails and texts letting me know the estimate, as well as the status of their arrival. They were polite, professional, hardworking, neat, and all around nice. When they arrived, we discussed things again. Since I am no expert, but a bit picky, they showed me a sample of the colored sealant and colored caulk to be sure I was happy with the color before they began. I appreciated that and ended up using colored instead of clear sealant for the floors to make it look more consistent. Although I cannot use the shower for 48 hours, it looks new again. It might have been a small job, but we needed a quick fix with our grout and the sealant of our masterbath shower; compared many reputable company, but wanted to give M&T a shot. Mauricio and his partner swung by gave us a quick estimate and stuck to it. So many things I loved about our interaction from the get go. 1) Mauricio was quick to respond over Yelp--he kept us updated on when he'd arrive, introduced himself. But the thing that stood out was the fact that he was courteous enough to realize that we don't allow shoes in the home so he proceeded to use cover-ups for his shoes. Minor thing maybe, but it was the principal and detail oriented nature of Mauricio and co. 2) He listened to the issue and had no problems with providing service even for something menial (re-grouting and sealing of cracked and mildewed edged in the shower.) When I called to set up the initial estimate he informed me of all my options including some that meant no work for himself. There was no sales pressure, no bashing others previous work, just simple explanations of how he would repair and what others options might work. His schedule allowed for quick and convenient repair. We were considering a major bathroom reno but just couldn't commit to the costs...or better said...the value we would not be getting for the costs! In the process of looking at other otpions...we came across M&T Grout...and I truly can't express in a paragraph here how happy we are that we called them and with the subsequent work that they did (and both caulking & grouting)!! Truly unbelievable and as in that...the final appearance didn't just look like a simple re-caulking or grouting...the overall work they did (removing old caulk) and along with their attention to detail (cleaning, prep and application) made both our Master Bath Rm and Kitchen look like we had major reno work done. We then painted our bathroom, and had an updated shower door installed...and that along with M&T's work...now truly feel like we had a major bathroom reno done and at a small fraction of the cost!! Same can be said for the grouting in our kitchen...made the whole floor look newly installed!!
