One tile which was white began turning pink after six months. Best Tile said it was my tile installers fault even though my builder and I dispute it with reasonable evidence. I asked for names of the people who determined the installation was faulty and I was told by Best Tile they were not at liberty to tell me. After much effort my builder arranged for Best tile to sell us the tile for their cost. This time I did check on prices and their cost was more than other tile companies sell it for. They were happy to let me take "loaner tiles" so that I could see them in the setting I was going to have them installed and match up cabinets and fabrics etc., for the final design. We wound up redoing our kitchen, master bathroom and dressing room with their product and I have to say that the whole experience was seamless. We had had an unexpected glitch in the design plan that wasn't evident until we started demo and realized that one of the tiles we picked for the bathroom would not work. We anticipated this being a real problem as we had already ordered all the tile. However, we spoke with the staff at Mosaic and they stated they could switch out the tile with "no problems" (as it turned out, we switched to a cheaper tile, but they never made a big deal out of this either). Caveat alert: they did tell us that the only reason they could do this was because all of the tile we had picked was "in stock", not special order, so it would be unreasonable to expect that they could do this in every instance. Our contractor actually picked up the tile, but I was impressed that all the tile was in good condition. We've done large projects before and have always had a bunch of broken/chipped tile that we then have to argue about getting returned, but this was one of the best tile experiences we have had. They are not the cheapest, but they were actually a lot cheaper than at another store we initially made our selection from. Our contractor suggested we check this place out because he was appalled at the price of the other tile we picked and promised us we would find something we liked just as much at Mosaic - he was right!

From the start, Tile Center made this piece of our process easy and pleasant, and we love the outcome. As project manager, Joe was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. He came to our house very quickly after our initial outreach, returned later with grout samples, and walked us through options at the showroom. He always responded quickly to emails and texts. He helped us navigate tile shortages and advised us when we needed to order from a third party. Thomas, the installer, was also fantastic. His work is beautiful, and on top of that, he was just incredibly lovely to be around. He not only tolerated, but was awesomely kind to, our very loud and unhelpful dog! He also went above and beyond dealing with various issues that arose. James, who came on one of the days, was also great. On top of everything else, we really appreciated how both Joe and Thomas worked things out so that we could live in the house throughout the installation.
