One hour foot massages are a must for me every two weeks. I have made this location my own little peace haven. It's very clean and the masseuse staff have all been amazing. Very professional and strings I like my massages to be very deep and aggressive. Staff members I've had service me have all taken direction very easily and have always done a great job. I was supposed to go to another spa about 10 mins away when poor communication caused some mixup and when I arrived no one was available for my scheduled massage. I was beyond irritated and called M Beauty to see if they could accommodate me. I found parking on a Fri night which, given this neighborhood was a blessing. Upon arrival I waited in a cute waiting area for about 10 mins before I was assigned a masseuse and taken to the room. My masseuse was a lady by the name of Jenny. First she dry rubbed my upper body with a towel over me and worked out all my kinks. I cousin literally hear her knuckles and my back cracking. Then she used the shiatzu oil to go work on my upper body for about 30 mins. She checked in with me several times to make sure I was ok with the pressure. It hurt at times but that's because I had a lot of tension and pre- existing back issues. She ended with a hot stone massage and warm towel before moving on to my lower body. She pretty much repeated the technique and then wrapped up. I paid extra for a 15 min foot massage but they didn't have a chair available so she did it from the massage bed which wasn't an issue for me. I have plantar fasciitis from over 12 years as a competitive runner and I did serious damage to my overly high arch. She hit every spot and worked on helping me to calm the inflammation that was built up in certain spots all long the ball of my foot abs arch. As many other reviewers have stated, this isn't the Red Spa or Four Seasons. You get what you pay for in terms of the no frills location and services but that's not to say you won't receive quality service. I did! read more

The price is comparative with the other massage places around Forest Hills. They were on time, and they finished at exactly 1 hour. I went with my husband and we were in a private couples room, which was way better compared to other spas (like Austin spa where the divider was just a curtain and you can hear the conversation of other customers). The receptionist was cordial and asked us at the end if everything was good, which we appreciated. The masseuses were waiting for us by the receptionist area but only as a courtesy for tip, which was professional, IMO. Again, compared to the other spa around the area i.e. Austin spa, wherein they demand for either 30-50% tip or a specific amount, this place makes me want to give more tip simply because they do not demand it. Overall, obviously for the price, you get what you pay for. It is definitely not a high end super relaxing spa but if you need a quick no fuss massage, this is the place to go. The lady who gave me message doesn't understand English? She has no technique and was rubbing my body like she was forced to be there. What's worse is I tipped them 22% which is more than generous but the lady at the reception was rude and asked me to come back in as I was walking out. I decided to get massage for 60 minutes anyway since I really needed it. I went into the massage room, the sheet and the pillow on the bed where I put my face down were wet. I told the masseuse about it and she put some paper towels on them. I told her that would not work since they're very wet and asked politely to change them. Two more masseuse came, none of them spoke English, and all I heard was "No". I decided to leave and let the front desk woman know why I'm leaving, and she yelled at me "Ok bye". Just had a massage by Lulu. Probably the best massage of my life. I have been coming here for years, not too often, maybe 3-4 times a year. The place is clean, quiet, you are in a separate room. It depends of course on a particular masseuse, today I had Lulu and 10/10. Excellent job. And for 45 usd plus tip (I gave $20) it is a steal. I don't understand how can someone tip less than $15 on one hour massage. It is a hard work. Plus you are saving on the price of the massage so don't be cheap and tip accordingly. Massage included my scalp, everything btwn my neck to finger tips, tailbone through toes, even my temples and nose were massaged. She lightly tugged each finger and toe (think for re-alignment). Her hands were lightly balled fists to pound my palms and undersides of my feet. Her forearms rolled up and down my back and maximus. And used elbows to unravel knots in my muscles. Then, she asked me to lie on my back and proceeded to massage my neck and stretch my neck, rubbed my ear loves, stretched my legs and lower back. Lastly, she used hot wet towels to wipe massage oil off. Best to go straight home to shower off the oil. I just didn't like being placed in a massage room for a couple. My back was sore from excessive excercise and the therapist knew exactly where my problem areas and knots were without me telling him. He is a real professional. King's pressure was perfect.I highly recommend him for moderate to deep tissue massage. The reception was nice. Bring cash if you can to tip the massage therapist. Our experience can be summed up in the word's of my 200 pound, 6'1 boyfriend: "She brutalized me". His massage therapist stepped on his back as others have described, even sliding down it? He was notably not able to breathe for segments of it. To be fair, the massage therapist did ask him twice in the beginning about pressure, to which he said it was fine. Sue us, it was our first massage! I'm not sure if she would have eased up/if the experience would have been more pleasant had he spoken up. I did ask my massage therapist for less pressure, because she kept digging her thumbs into my shoulders and neck (which literally hurt more right after the massage). But overall, still couldn't relax due to pressure. Also... they will pull your arms, legs, and literally pull your hair. Like... for real. We were short $100 ($70/couples massage, $10 minimum tip per massage per hour) and left very sore. Could be a steal if you can grab the right massage therapist and manage to communicate with them adequately. Had a couples massage here this past week and it was amazing! I heard great reviews from here and decided to try. It's so worth it. Massage is only 35$ an hour and includes, oils and hot stone. The lady who did massage didn't speak much English. But her hands did all the talking for her. She was very good. Rough and gentle when need without me saying anything. I noticed her paying attention to clock a few times. I know, it's because she was making sure it's a full hour. The spa its self has a nice decor to it. Great location and they have long hours. Rooms were kept very clean. I called and was able to get appointment very easily. They do require you to tip $10 min. But most places do that and it's worth it. The massage was very good took my mom today because yesterday was her birthday. At the and of the massage I asked the lady at the front desk how much, she said $180. I said okay thats fine I went on to ask if they took card she told me its $4 tax for me and my mom so in all it would be $188 I said okay np. My mom decided to take the tip portion since I paid for the massages. The lady at the front desk was rudely telling us we needed to give $20 each. A tip is not mandatory, the lady at the front is unprofessional and this place will never get great reviews with her being there. The massage was decent but I have had better massages for the $45 price tag. it was nothing spectacular. They only massage your back and not the front at all . The place was clean, so I had no issues with that. My problem was at the end of the massage, I went to tip the lady 10$ they got very upset as they expected, and almost demanded a 15% tip. (33%). The front desk lady rudely pointed at some sign, saying that on a 60 minute massage it was expected. I explained to her that tipping is not mandatory. If you are looking for an affordable body massage M Beauty Spa is the place to go. It is located in the 2nd floor. Their body massage is only $35 per hour. They accept credit cards but cash is better because it's tax free. They require to give a tip of $10 for any service that's provided for an hour. The space is really clean and spacious. However the rooms are separated by a curtain only. Thankfully when I was getting my body massage I was the only customer in the room so it was quiet. By the next hour, I was getting my facial and another customer is getting a body massage. It was not very relaxing at all. I could hear the other customer talking to her masseuse. The body massage was excellent! They also give you free hot stones by the 40min mark of your massage. I loved it! The facial was okay. I looked at their products and they use Kevin C Skin Care. The next following days, I saw more white heads on my face. So I wont be going there again for facial. It's also expensive. It's $50 an hour. Picts r not an accurate reflection of what to expect here. So u can take the elevator up in lieu of the stairs which opens right into the waiting area. They do have folks ready to take clients in. Each person gets their own room. They have music piped in. I asked for a female and she was attentive checking on pressure and my comfort level which I appreciated. She also asked if I wanted hot stones which I agreed to. It's a good experience. She did a thorough massage starting with my back and then eventually working on my front arms legs etc. It's a deep tissue type of massage so u will feel better after. And For the price u can't beat this deal. And they work really hard so yeah def tip at least $10 if not more. Don't be cheap folks. These folks don't make a ton of money so they rely on tips so be appreciative of their hard work to make u feel better. And that she did. I usually get massages near my job in FiDi but since I haven't been to my office since mid-March, I had to find a place near my home to deal with months of WFH-related neck/shoulder pain. I pass this place all the time when I get goodies from Fayda, never ventured upstairs until now. I booked a 1-hr full body work for the first week that massage parlors could reopen in NYC. Upon arrival, I was asked to use the provided hand sanitizer, and had my temperature taken at the front desk using those touchless infrared cameras. The wait area was empty except for me and the receptionist, who was behind a plastic screen at her desk. While I waited for my masseuse to fetch me, a man without a face mask walked in. He looked like he was there to pick up a package, and the receptionist did not ask him to use the hand sanitizer, check his temperature or to wear a mask. I don't know how long he was there for, because my masseuse came to get me, but the man and I were probably in the wait area for about 5 minutes total. I was surprised the receptionist didn't ask him to wear a mask even if he was only there for a few minutes - I see deliverymen in my building all the time and even though they're making fast deliveries, they're all still properly protected. For the actual massage, I was asked to remove everything but my underwear and to lay face down on the table, which had about 3 layers of protective sheets - over the face rest, two for the rest of the table. I kept my mask on even though I was face down. The masseuse had on a mask and a face shield. Once I laid down, I was covered, including my head, with two more layers of protective sheets (not fabric - similar to a sheet to prevent water from seeping through). So altogether, my head was sandwiched between 4 sheets, plus I had my face mask on. Breathing facedown like that was difficult after about 15 minutes, especially since being facedown meant by mask was tight against my face. My personal max tolerance in this position was 30 minutes. In hindsight, I probably could have pulled my mask down so my nose wasn't covered, but the massage room is a small, confined space (just enough room for the table, some cabinets) and the ventilation wasn't great (the A/C was barely on, but I didn't mind because they didn't use fabric sheets or towels to cover my body). The massage itself was adequate - I hadn't gotten one since January, and I used to get a massage twice a month. So my muscles were extremely tight and not used to being worked on. The masseuse did not ask how much pressure to use, and she was nowhere near as painful as the sport massages that I used to get regularly. After 30 minutes, I flipped onto my back and breathing was much easier, though I still had two layers of protective sheets over my head. The hot stone portion was so fast that it barely registered on me that hot stones were used until it was already over. When the massage was over, I was not offered water although a water cooler is available in the wait area for use. That was fine with me because I wanted to limit touching anything. The spa and rooms were very clean but I was being cautious. The full hour body work was $35, which I paid in cash so no tax; I gave a $10 cash tip to the masseuse (I had read in other reviews that tips were requested in equivalent of $5 per 30 minutes of work). It was not bad for $45 total, though my shoulders were very sore/very warm the next two days after. I wasn't sure if the pain was from the muscles being worked on for the first time in months or something else from the massage; after the massage I could immediately feel better circulation and less tightness in my neck and shoulders even though I didn't feel those areas were worked on excessively. I'm still waiting for the soreness in my shoulders to go away but I would go back for foot reflexology at the least. read more
