M Cha Bar is a relatively new bubble tea shop between Finch and North York Centre. They also serve up coffee, gelato, and some neat little snacks too (sandwiches and croissants). I tried their Pistachio Frappe (+ taro balls) and Peachy Dream (comes with crystal boba, aloe vera, and mini tapioca pearls). Their toppings are small in size which is perfect -- no more battling with stubborn taro/tapioca stuck in the straw! The Pistachio Frappe was a bit on the sweeter side, but the Peachy Dream (0% sugar) was perfect. Service was swift and informative (did you know "QQ" toppings vary by drink? I didn't so now I know!). The space itself is warm, inviting, and immaculately clean. Only bummer? They were out of Chestnut Bliss. Guess it's just another reason to go back.

Came during grand opening promo, of course to take advantage of the BOGO offer. Their IG post said purchases get a BOGO voucher but seems they decided to just offer BOGO. Got a matcha creme brulee slush/smoothie. It doesn't specify what type of drink it is, but I would assume it's a smoothie since it wasn't packed full of ice. The ice and sugar levels are fixed, but they don't add extra sugar. Flavour was good: matcha was bitter and balanced by the sweetness of the creme brulee. I particularly enjoy that they don't do that "sweet matcha" business that some places do; if I'm looking for sweet there are many alternatives to choose from. Small place but still has decent number of seating. Also they have gelato.

I wanna say friends got together and opened this place I was annoyed by having to wait almost 10 minutes for my drink BUT the 10 minutes were worth it. I got that pistachio frappe and my sister for the strawberry something. Soo good honestly! Nothing like bubble tea but so unique in flavours. Made up for waiting the extra time. They're definitely on the pricey end in terms of drinks but the quality was worth it, especially during a hot day. The employees are nice and willing to help where needed. The place itself is sorta cute. Will seat maybe 10-15 comfortably.

This Cha Bar on Yonge Street is relatively new. It used to be a cheesecake dessert place, but Cha Bar has taken over. It's a fantastic spot for studying, offering a quiet and intimate atmosphere. Although the three items we initially wanted were sold out (Matcha Latte, Taro Coconut, and Mango Pomelo), so we settled for the Ice Coconut Latte, which turned out to be delicious. The person who helped us was really honest on why all the things we chose were sold out. I like the honesty. I really enjoyed it and would certainly return!

#2 Peachy Dream is probably one of my favourites here and their 1 litre fruit drinks are definitely worth trying!

This location is definitely so much better than their other locations! Not sure if it's just personal preference or different tastebuds but I like milk tea with stronger tea and M Cha in North York makes them just right! They also have affagato and gelato here so will definitely try this next time! Friendly staff hut the lines can get busy and please would be nice if there was a some signage for customers to watch their step when exiting because customer can easily sprain your ankle while they leave (just for safety) :)

Brown sugar park milk tea with mousse.

I came here on Sunday to get their daily special, the brown sugar pearl milk tea with mousse. I thought it was a great deal because you get a large size bubble tea for just $4.99! I've never had a bubble tea with mousse before. It was creamy and delicious. Kind of like drinking butter beer. I would probably go for half sweet next time though since I found the drink to be a bit too sweet with the brown sugar pearls and the mousse. The only downside was that the pearls were a bit overbooked and soggy... This was by first time coming here since the cheese garden (the previous place) closed down. The seating and decor is very similar. Bright and clean with limited seating. The server was friendly and approachable. I'll definitely try this place again!

Really love Peach Dream and Camelia tea. It has so much tea flavour and it's my go to spot for bubble tea in North York now!

The service is consistently warm, and the pastry case is hard to resist. We've tried many of their cakes, and the blackcurrant queen cake is hands down our favorite--tart, elegant, and just sweet enough. Their salted caramel croissant is beautifully laminated and filled with just the right amount of caramel. In fact, their croissants across the board are solid--flaky, tender, and buttery without being greasy. The sourdough bread is excellent, and the espresso drinks are reliably strong and well-crafted. It may look like Paris inside, but don't let that inspire your inner Francophile--the staff are lovely, but no one's following your French. Still, this is the kind of place that keeps regulars coming back. We're definitely among them.

The espresso here is excellent - well-bodied in flavour, medium roast (I think?), and pairs nicely with the sweetness of the cakes & pastries. There's also a wide selection of small personal cakes to choose from - just make sure you come early since they do sell out! We shared the cream & crumb cheesecake (simple, classic, and incredibly creamy!) and tiramichoux (think a tiramisu profiterole - such a fun twist!). Looking forward to my next visit already :)

Tim Hortons is a Canadian chain specializing in both coffee and baked goods, founded by hockey player Tim Horton and businessman Ron Joyce in 1964. While I don't go for the coffee, every now when visiting Canada, I'll stop by a Tim Hortons for hot chocolate and a donut. A few days ago when I was visiting Toronto, I met up with a cousin at the Tim Hortons at the Promenade in Thornhill, and while she got a coffee and a donut, I enjoyed a hot chocolate and a donut. We had the opportunity to order through a kiosk or in person, and we opted for an in-person order which included a discount through the app. The drinks and donuts were ready rather quickly, and while there was limited seating in the Tim Hortons itself, we sat in the food court area just outside of the Tim Hortons. The staff were nice and seemed to know what they were doing. The hot chocolate was tasty and chocolatey while the donut (a Chocolate Dip Donut) had a thicker dip than I am used to, but it was delicious! This particular location is open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM, and there is no drive-through option as it is in a food court of a mall. On the website (https://www.timhortons.ca), you can find menus, locations, catering and franchisee options, delivery, and promotions. Such promotions include Tims x Reese's, where you can get a Peanut Butter Chocolate Iced Capp or any of their other products made with Reese's. Plus, there are items with Fall flavors like Pumpkin Spice Iced Capp, Pumpkin Spice Donut, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Spice Muffin, and Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte. There are also new Matcha Lattes. If ordering on the app, you can also order hockey trading cards and/or a binder. The interior is sleek and modern and the staff are friendly but as other reviews mentioned can be a little forgetful ... sometimes we had to remind them more than once of a drink or a small request. However the staff are very sweet and always seem to be excited about their food and drinks and love talking about anything new on their menu ... really enjoyed the croissants that comes with pistachio, chocolate, and I believe Nutella, and that they can make immediately for you if they've run out of a certain flavor. They have pastries, wine, a big coffee menu, sandwiches, and pasta. There's some street parking and if you don't mind walking across the street there's plenty of spots at Bayview Mall. They also have free underground parking but it's a bit of a guessing game to get to the first time ... if you go behind their building parallel to Sheppard is Thomas Clark Way. If you're facing north towards their building on Thomas Clark Way then the parking driveway is part of the building to the left of the church, the parking garage door is actually perpendicular to Thomas Clark Way. There's a few parking areas on that road so it's hard to find the first time but once you get it then it's really convenient especially in the winter - the restaurant is right there. Highly recommended for the great staff and casual yet elegant vibe.

After trying my vanilla iced latte and my partner's macchiato... I wondered if this place might actually be better known for food or matcha, based on what I've seen in other reviews - the coffee was not good. The espresso beans seemed to be over-roasted, which were quite bitter for our liking as opposed to something more subtly chocolatey and nutty. My iced latte also got watery pretty quickly as the ice melted it seemed, and ended up tasting more like the kind of latte you'd get from a fast-food chain (or the espresso shot was way too long). A bit of a letdown, especially since the two fairly small drinks came to about $18. The space itself is cozy, and I really like the vinyl collection (which earned the 2 stars). That said, the records are noticeably pricey compared to typical vinyl shops like Sonic Boom. A lot of them -- even ones with just Side A -- were priced at $55 and up. I didn't cross-check the barcodes on Discogs, but while I love the curation (especially the focus on Japanese jazz and city pop -- really cool stuff), I find it hard to believe all of them are rare pressings worthy of those $55-to-several-hundred-dollar price tags. As an avid collector myself, I wouldn't come here to buy the records. Service was friendly.
