I cannot recommend these people. They came recommended to me by PGE and it looked very promising…read more Being current on your utility bill doesn't matter to them. The whole point of me wanting to replace my 40 year old system was to get something more energy efficient lined up, thus lowering my PGE bill and making it easy to pay and keep up to date on on a regular basis (since PGE keeps raising their already expensive rates). This matters not to these clowns. They must be in league with PGE to keep ratepayers at the edge of the cliff (kickbacks, probably).

ZERO stars for this subpar lender. I was encouraged to…read morefinance my home's new high efficiency gas furnace with a Craft3 Energy Loan. I have a Very High credit rating (767) and thought that this process would be a "no brainer" in terms of getting approved for my small home improvement project. Unfortunately their Sr. Consumer Lender failed to mention that even though they would be putting a "hard inquiry" into my credit history, they base their decision solely based upon the payment history with my local utility provider NW Natural in Portland OR. I was totally current on my gas bill. ZERO balance due. BUT, if you are like me, and have ever rolled a small summer time monthly balance of say $25 over until the next month, this excludes you from being approved for at least a year. But the WORST part is that this 'Hard Inquiry" they place on your credit report opens up your personal information to EVERY loan shark lender/mortgage broker in your region. I have been barraged by over 50 phone calls/voicemails/texts per day since engaging with this company. Unless you have never paid late on an energy bill RUN AWAY from Craft3!!!!

I decided to search on Yelp for someone more credible and found these awesome people/company to work with. Highlights are: 1. Very responsive, lightning fast reply's 2. Reachable via email, phone 3. Quick to review documents 4. Quick to set up a final appointment 5. All done virtually through a secure system that is user friendly 6. So this is the first year I owned a business (LLC) and was looking to get help and hopefully find…read morean accountant for the future. Now I'll be the first to say, I'm pretty lost with profit/losses and book keeping, as I said it's my first time. For the past 8 years I've just used TurboTax for personal, but as I said, first time with a business. Initially you talk with someone over a chat, they ask you questions and you answer them and send them forms. They said they could do my profit/losses for me for about $75 extra, I was fine with it, figured it was worth learning how to do it. Took about a month but finally had my appointment to talk over video (30min). They were 6min late and obviously very tired. I truly felt bad for Yuliya as she seemed so exhausted. We spent the first 18min looking at the Dept. of Washington tax site and she was showing me how to fix my prior quarterly tax filings because she felt I had labeled my business incorrectly. After I showed her what I was doing, she changed her mind and said "I think you're actually fine and doing it right". So that left us 6 minutes to rush through my tax return before her next appointment. In the end I spent $350 to save $3 (the difference in number between what I got in TurboTax vs. having it done by Nationwide). For me, if I would have learned something about better tax reporting for the LLC, it would have been worth it. But it just felt very rushed, very impersonal and honestly I'd rather just go back to doing it myself.
