When my former advisor eventually tried to sell me on a very expensive "investment-grade" life insurance policy I decided to get a second opinion and came to Charles and have never looked back! Charles and his team are professional, friendly, and committed to sustainability. Everyone is very professional and they do a great job. As an established client, they send you a pre-planned tax appointment every year based on your preferred time, which you can just keep or call to change/cancel. This is very convenient, one less thing to do. They also send you a handy tax organizer packet ahead of time (pre-filled with your previous year's information) to help you get everything organized and ready. This makes your appointment go very quickly and smoothly, with no surprises. If you do forget to bring a form, they let you just drop it off when you can. If you can't make it into their office in person, they also give you the option of just dropping everything off or mailing everything to them and they take care of the rest. You do not pay until they have completed your taxes and you go to pick them up. If you owe any taxes, they'll have the forms/envelopes all ready and pre-filled for you, you just have to sign and mail. They give you everything nicely organized in a file and the best part is that if you ever get audited by the IRS, they will have your back. Jason also answered questions for us about college savings plans and the cost of college tuition for our son. If you refer a new client to them, they will also give you a token of appreciation (we got a gift card to See's Candy before) and they enter you into a drawing for a trip to Hawaii!
