I had another electrical company come out to figure out a nonfunctional circuit in my house. It turned out that I had switched the line and load on a GFCI outlet that had broken. The other company did not figure it out, and wanted to do several thousand dollars and work that was not going to solve the problem. Brian Electric/Roy was the worst experience with an electrical contractor. Roy said the job was completed, however, he did not finish the job, he did not perform the electrical work to code and the inspector failed his work. Roy refused to return to complete the work as contracted to code. I have since had the work completed by licensed electricians who mentioned Roy's work was the worst they had encountered including major safety issues. I don't normally write negative reviews however Roy's work was so terrible and unsafe, Roy should be held accountable. The electricians are contracted so it's pretty cool to get a diverse group of people working with you because they can help you with other things such as. Handyman work or odd and jobs definitely accommodated me on short notice. I called on a Saturday evening about a bad fuse, and it was urgent because my refrigerator was off. Roy showed up 2 hours later and was very friendly and professional. Always get a second opinion!!!!!$29,000 quote from another company turns into a $400 fix from Brian's Electric. On 5/16/2021 We were having issues with our Solar. The company that originally installed the equipment had went belly up. And other company's wouldn't dare touch or work on our system. I called Brian's Electric on a Sunday morning. They said that they were pretty busy and would try to fit us in late evening around 7:30-8:00. They made it to the house around 7:30 discovered that we were not getting enough Amps in one of the breakers that hadn't tripped but had previously overheated. We had another company come out but wouldn't diagnose our system. They called us orphans because they said previous company's always leave Solar owners out to dry. This i found to be very true. But instead of trying to figure out what was wrong with our system they came out took up an entire day trying to sale us new micro equipment. They said our Micro Inverters and Envoys were dinosaurs and needed upgrades from $17,000-$29,000. We called Brian's Electric for a second opinion and they took less than an hour diagnosed our system with a multimeter, found the burnt breaker and replaced it all for less than $400. Very hard to find electrical companies to do work in MOBILE HOMES. If you need electrical work within your mobile home, call Sam @ Brian Electric. This includes upgrading your panel, installing new breakers, outlet checks, etc. Sam is an excellent troubleshooter; good knowledge; great workmanship. Thank you for resolving all our electrical issues we've had for at least a couple of years. Now we know who to contact if we need more assistance in the future. OVER-PRICED. Severely overpriced. The service is good. The owner of the company is responsive and the technician he sent was knowledgeable and professional. However, for just troubleshooting, the technician told me that the charge would be 275$ and that they normally charge 375$ for that. The lights were out in just one room and the technician checked 4 plugs as well as the main panel outside. He figured out that 'there was no neutral' in one of the plugs and fixed it. The lights came back on in the room. The total amount of time he spent diagnosing and working was exactly 1 hour and 15 minutes. To charge 275$ for that amount of time and for a job like that is indeed too much. I would say that that job shouldn't have costed more than 150$. Maybe 175$ maximum. I thus feel that I have paid AT LEAST 150% of the amount the job deserved. The technician, Saeed, was excellent. He did the job and was professional, polite and punctual. However, the rates that this company charges are VERY high. If I had not freaked out about the absence of power and that guests were expected for the weekend, I would have done more research. Recently you had one of of these guys out at my property. He came out to my property to fix electrical problem which just ended up being a lose wire in one of the outlets and also in a 210 outlet in the garage. He spent 3 hours trying to figure out where the lose wire was which there are only 6 outlets and 2 switches on our guest house. Said he could not finish all the work and would come out the next day on his own to fix so it wouldn't cost as much. I paid him $450.00 cash that night. Then the next day he came out and finish the job he was suppose to originally fix the day before and charged me another $400.00. Do not use this company unless you want to get ripped off. read more

Very polite individual over the phone, but extremely unreliable. I took a day off work because he made an appointment at 11:30am. I waited till 12:30 and he was a no show. So I texted him to see if he was lost. He apologized via text and said he will be here between 4-6. He again didn't show up or respond. My final text @ 8:18 pm telling him that I have been home all day and I was concerned about him and hoped that he was OK. Still no response. My review is very similar to that of Abdul, but I was fortunate enough to avoid paying for a jacked-up, unnecessary service that he quoted me $1,900 for. I wound up paying $200 from another electrician. Roy's disrespect for a customer's time and resources is a poor selling point, and he should not be trusted with your money or time. Wiring can be expensive and it was, but who I am seriously impressed with was Robert who actually did the work, rewiring from the panel to the A/C unit on the roof. He finished at 9:00 pm getting the job done in the serious heat of August and inside the attic. He made sure everything was done and rewired because the A/C couldn't be fixed and turned on until he was finished. He's personable and stayed until everything is finished and checked. I had a very good experience with Brian Electric. Roy, the owner, was very responsive, always giving me updates and calling or texting back quickly if I had questions. He and his guys were friendly and respectful. The job did take longer than expected, but they had to rewire my entire 1925 house (with plaster and lath walls) and replace an outdoor electrical panel during the rainy season. The quote from Brian Electric was lower than other places I checked out, partly because the job did not include any paint touch-ups or smart home upgrades that other places were trying to sell me. I have been happy with the results and haven't encountered any issues with their work.
