SO.. Once again M'Lea exceeded my expectations!! M'Lea was my stylist in Memphis for many years ... Eight years ago I moved to Franklin Tn. I tried several stylist in Franklin and no one ever came close to meeting M'Lea's quality of work .. Her color work is always spot on and her cuts can't be beat .. a couple of years ago I had my shoulder length hair cut short .. like above my ears ... and I have hated it .. I decided to get extensions and used a stylist in a local HIGH-end salon .. My color was awful .. way to dark and she made a mess of my extensions... My hair was falling out like crazy ... after a consult on the phone with M'Lea I came to the conclusion that the extensions were put in wrong .. I got a really bad application ... I rushed to Memphis and had M'Lea remove them .. She did a color correction and applied extensions and I couldn't be more thrilled ... One thing about M'Lea ... I have lived In Memphis for almost 8 years and have been searching relentlessly for the perfect colorist since I arrived here. I am on a budget and have fine hair that takes awhile to get right. Blonde highlights are what I always go for and often they turn out choppy or brassy. I happened upon M'Lea's Grove Park salon as it was highly recommended to me by several people. I made an appointment with M'Lea and let her know what I wanted done to my hair and she got me in quickly and confidently highlighted my hair without any hesitation. Also, in response to what her reply is 1. You don't have to be a mind reader to copy a picture and 2. I talked to cosmetologists at two separate places who agreed the cut was not done properly nor was it anything like what I asked for- had to pay for extensions. Still would never go again. Leaving review because it's an accurate representation of my experience.
