The entire team is welcoming, knowledgeable and very good at what they do. I had a consultation to determine whether I would be a good candidate. Following the positive outcome, I was able to set up a date for my surgery and go in for the pre-op within about two weeks. The technicians and optometrists I met were great. Each person took time to explain what the tests were for, what my results meant and how the surgery would correct my vision. I met Dr Raoof on the day of my surgery. She explained the procedure in detail and answered all my questions. She made me feel really at ease and in good hands. This procedure was a miracle for me. I've had really bad eyesight and worn glasses since second grade. The second I got up from the operation I could see almost perfectly. In January 2023 I called Harvard eye and they do not take Scan so I called my primary doctor for a retina specialist referral and she said I have to see an ophthalmologist first who would refer me to a retina specialist if needed. She referred me to Dr. Spanggord an ophthalmologist. I went to Dr. Spanggord for two years. I had my regular check up once a year. Then I made another appointment because my right eye was blurry. She said to continue using my eye drops at night and the daytime too , which I did . I went back for my annual review and she said I had blepharitis and needed to put a warm compress on and use my eye drops. My vision didn't change so I decided to get a second opinion about my blurry right eye. I called my primary physician Dr. Siegfried for a 2nd opinion and she referred me to Tayani Institute. They did an exam and found out I have holes in my right eye on my macular and my left eye had a wrinkle . I was referred to a retina specialist. Tayani Institute then referred me to Retina associates of Orange County. They confirmed holes but said I don't need surgery. Come back in six months. I feel I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Spanggord for two years, as she never referred me to a retina specialist. I am glad I got a second opinion.

(Kersten Diana, MD, Ophthalmologist @ Harvard Eye Associates in Laguna Hills, CA). I found out after the Cataract Surgery of my right eye that it was absolutely UNNECESSARY. MOST IMPORTANTLY, KERSTEN DIANA, MD'S CATARACT SURGERY TO MY RIGHT EYE MADE ME LEGALLY BLIND (20/200) IN MY RIGHT EYE. MAKING ME FOREVER LEGALLY BLIND. Imagine, KERSTEN DIANA, MD had planned next to perform Cataract Surgery to my left eye. Also, after this unnecessary life altering Cataract Surgery given by KERSTEN DIANA, MD I had an appointment to see KERSTEN DIANA, MD at her office where she had a huge desk. I sat across from her with my Husband. By then the after surgery cotton eye patch was off and I had just recently seen a highly respected Ophthalmologist who had my right eyesight tested. It had become 20/60 and steadily worsened. As I sat across from KERSTEN DIANA, MD in her office at her huge desk I said to her, "I had an Optometrist test my eyesight just after I followed your directions in caring for my right eye after your Cataract Surgery to my right eye. My right eye vision was 20/30 just before your surgery, it is now 20/60 and worsening. KERSTEN DIANA, MD looked at me but said nothing. She squeezed both her hands into fists and pounced each one twice on her desk as she raised her body from her huge desk. She, KERSTEN DIANA, MD then STOMPED OUT OF HER OFFICE. She never made any effort to contact me. I never saw her again. P.S. The severe damage resulting from the unnecessary cataract surgery to my right eye became 20/200 one month or so after the one year deadline to file a Malpractice Lawsuit. She lost nothing for unnecessarily blinding me. The Medical Board and general public are not aware of Kersten Diana, MD's willful medical neglect and unapologetic medical behavior.
