My retina specialist eventually referred me back to Dr. Pirnazar for a secondary procedure. When my vision worsened, I called requesting an urgent appointment and was told the first available appointment was almost two months away. After several calls, I was finally given an appointment for August 28 with Dr. Fadavi, whom I had seen before. I received multiple text messages confirming my appointment with Dr. Fadavi. When I arrived, however, I was told that another doctor would see me because Dr. Fadavi does not work there on Fridays! No one had contacted me to tell me about this change, despite the multiple confirmation texts specifically naming Dr. Fadavi. When I questioned the front desk about this, the staff member was extremely rude and dismissive and showed no concern about the situation. Considering that I was there because of a worsening problem with my eyesight, I found this treatment completely unacceptable. I left without being seen and will be finding another ophthalmologist to address my eye problem. After this experience, I will not return to this office. The lack of communication, difficulty obtaining timely care, and especially the unprofessional attitude of the office staff were extremely disappointing.

I have not received a response from either of them after several weeks trying. This lack of customer/patient service is unprofessional and is forcing me to seek another doctor. "Dear Dr. Raoof, I have made five attempts to contact Denisse Brito and left messages each time. She returned one call, but unfortunately, I was unavailable, and no further follow-up was made. Given the lack of communication, my wife and I have decided to seek cataract/lens replacement surgery elsewhere. They proceeded to do a regular exam and dilated my eyes without confirming the appointment purpose or telling me it wouldn't include contacts. Then they scheduled yet another appointment -- supposedly to actually handle the contact lens portion. Fast forward to today: I drove to their Laguna Hills office, checked in, waited ~20 minutes, and then was told the doctor "doesn't have time to see me today." No call, no heads-up, nothing. I took time off work for each of these visits, yet after three appointments, I still do not have my contacts. To make it worse, when I called after leaving, the best they could offer was to reschedule me with the same doctor who canceled on me today -- again, no acknowledgment of all the time wasted or effort to accommodate. This office has major scheduling, communication, and customer care issues.
