The ownership is as aggressive as the roadside advertising, and not in a good way. To their credit, their insane rules are well-signed (don't park for more than 5 minutes-- when absolutely no one else is in the parking lot) and they do indeed have 200 "flavors" (though rest assured you will find no actual berries or natural flavors in the bunch). One must order one at a time and any inane chatter (like "is there a porta potty?") will be summarily dismissed with a scowl. To be fair, we made some questionable choices on flavor combinations but can attest that every permutation had a "red # 5" flavor profile and aftertaste of saccharine (care for a Tab, anyone?) When hurriedly packing up to leave I made the unforgivable mistake of setting one of these "shakes" on the ground, which elicited a whistle and the shrill directive "don't leave that on the ground!" Mind you not a garbage can in sight, had I the inclination to do exactly that. Their hand dipped ice cream was very good. Their milkshakes are little more than milk. It is awful! I sat in the parking lot, just long enough to eat my cone, with two small scoops of ice cream. I was the only vehicle in the lot. After just a few minutes, the woman running the stand started yelling that i was not supposed to be there more than 5 minutes. This place is awful. the huckleberry shake was $10. it may have had a huckleberry dipped in it to give it a faint purple hue but otherwise tasted like your standard vanilla shake. I'm from western MT and I know what a huckleberry shake tastes like. This was not one. Save your money or go elsewhere. read more

Right off the highway. M&M themed train car that sells milkshakes. While driving you see the signs on the highway that say over 200 flavors of milkshakes ahead. We thought what the heck we'll give it a try. Asked what do you recommend. Was told Fresh Real Fruit Huckleberry & Chocolate. They were both really good but the Huckleberry was super delicious (much better than the 1st one I had somewhere else) Price was really reasonable. First off, I never ever review places but after going here I feel inclined to do so. We are traveling by RV to Spokane, WA and went through Montana. We saw advertisements for this place along the highway and decided to go here to support a small business and get some milkshakes. We pull up in our rv and I put my two dogs on their leashes and walk them to grass area that's 5ft away so they can stretch their legs. I'm not kidding, within 10 seconds of being on the grass, a little angry miserable man who is the owner and that lives next to the milkshake shack in a trailer, pulls up in his truck, unrolls his window and says he doesn't want my dogs "sh$&ting on his grass" and told me to take them to the hill across the street that's at a 65 degree angle full of sharp rocks, sticks, and burrs. I couldn't believe it and didn't know how to respond so I politely said "okay, thank you". He didn't respond back to me, he just glared at me and then rolled his eyes and drove off. It was unbelievable. I immediately put my dogs back into the RV and walked up towards my GF that was ordering our milkshakes. She was ordering a mango and Oreo milkshake for herself and I. While she was ordering, the old rude grouchy lady (owners wife?) cut her off and said "one at a time!!!!!"... it was like her brain was exploding because she couldn't handle two simplistic orders at a time lol. My gf then asked her what her favorite flavor was and in the rudest manner she said "I don't know!!! We have different taste buds!!! I couldn't believe this was the way they treat their customers. I thought I was on a prank television show for a second because it was so blatant and unbelievable. As for the product. It's just as bad as the owners. The price is outrageous at $7 for a small milkshake that's bland and tastes like it was ice cubes and milk blended together. Absolutely no love or care at all put into it. What an absolute joke of an establishment. The owners are too incompetent and don't know how to run a business. It's honestly laughable. I stopped here to pick up some fireworks. Man the prices were crazy high. 40.00 for a brick of firecrackers. I found out later when I got back home that a larger brick was selling for 18.00. I got robbed. What a rip off. read more

Stopped to buy a milkshake and some Cherries while traveling through Montana, but the angry old woman who works there yelled at us for stopping in front of her business. Stopped in for a huckleberry milkshake, very good and very good customer service. Fun pit stop for a quick treat, kids loved getting out and running around. A lot of space at this stop to stretch and be away from the crowd at a local gas station. read more

This is the perfect place if you are trying to get ripped off for overpriced watery milkshakes, if I can even call them that. You could literally go to any McDonald's and get a better milkshake. They just add flavored syrup to soft serve. Not at all impressed. And they " don't have a blender strong enough to mix real ice cream". Very disappointed. read more
