In 15+ years as a rental property owner, I have never experienced such indifference and abrasiveness as with M-T's owner (Maria). "IF" you are fortunate enough for Maria take or return your phone calls, you will be met with disdain and impatience, as she makes you feel like you are intruding on her time. She never stepped foot into my property until the bitter end when it was too late, and tens of thousands of dollars in tenant damage had already been done. Then she had the gall to insist the ridiculous amount of damage was "normal wear and tear" (normal wear and tear does not cost $40K and 2 months to fix). M-T also did not take any move-in pictures, which I consider malpractice in this profession. She did not look out for our best interests and consistently appeared to be pro-tenant. The cherry on top was M-T's slow walking the transfer of docs, reports, photos, accounting, keys and overall responsibility to our new property manager. If you want someone to just collect your rent and to treat you like you're an imposition, Maria is your go-to person. Otherwise, I believe property owners should run from this company and go elsewhere...you should expect better than having to deal with someone with a chip on their shoulder who doesn't even perform their most basic responsibilities. read more

Just moved out of an apartment managed by M-T management. They were such a great company to work with. We moved from out of state and they helped set up an apartment walk through with my in laws so we could see the apartment in some way. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone not even my worst enemy. Maintenance are contractors so basically you pay out of your own pocket to get things fixed. 1. The washer did not work, 2.The sinks leaked water also were rusted, 3.Garbage disposal was rusted out and leaked, 4.The light switches did not work and they were either dirty or painted over (which chips off) than I'm charged for it, 5.Refrigerator did not work, so occasionally would break down and ruin all my food I had just bought, 6.The bathroom sink was clogged (dirty when I moved in), 7.The fan above the stove didn't work and had no filter no light bulb, 8.The tub drain was plugged I had to fix it a couple times.(Dirty upon move in), 9.The blind (wands) were broken and wired together. 10.It was not professionally cleaned and was not move in ready. 11.Every rental/apartment I've ever lived in came with free bulbs or free replacements. There was a lot of bulbs out upon move in but the wouldn't know because the switches were broken. Along with Fire Alarm batteries, (Now after all that they charged me $1000.00 to fix there apartment. I will see them in small claims court.) * I will post this all over the network including Facebook, Craigslist and apartment rental feed backs so no one else will get scammed like I have. read more

We have been using M-T Management for the last 10 years. They have done a wonderful job of screening renters and taking care of any repairs that need to be made to the property. We have now decided to sell this house and they have been very helpful in that process. Also, they were able to help our last renter find her new apartment. M-T Management has been finding great tenants for my Duplex for several years now. I live in Tacoma so it is really important for me to have good tenants. They inspect for me when I have a vacancy and make sure everything is in good working condition. They set the rent to the best rate for the unit, all for a very reasonable fee. You know its hard to rate something like a Property Management Company but considering our last experience these guys were really great. The Lease terms are flexible. They responded right away to the minor concerns we had upon moving in. We are a two family household (my brother and his wife moved in with us) and they didn't even bat a eye to that. We hope to have a good experience with them while we are in the house. PS: no hidden fees or things like that. Good group of folks so far... Epilogue: M-T Management was a great place to rent from. They made leaving the property easy and had no over the top demands...yeah we did have to clean the house...but doesn't everyone when they leave? Garbage garbage garbage! Scum Lord's at it's finest. Do not rent from them if you can help it. They will find every little thing and charge you a substantial amount for it. Someone dumped garbage by our shed out back and they cleaned it up and charged us! They told us it would be split between three units and we never got a notice that they changed their minds. Our lease was up January 31 and they're charging us for February also and we aren't living there. They seem like really nice people but they're screwing everyone over. I've talked with three other tenants and they are treated the same way and got sucked into signing a year lease. They will make your life miserable and have you worried financially. They are unprofessional and will cuss at you if they feel threatened. Good thing my family has money and I will be taking them to court! read more

We just used M-T Management for Lease Up Services after having no vacancies for 3 years. Judy, Maria and team were on top of recommending what needed to be done to get ready for the next tenant and arranged everything. Our property rented just days after they advertised it. Judy was extremely communicative, which we really appreciated and we already have the rent and deposit, only 8 days after signing the lease. They are on top of everything, despite being in a COVID situation. We will use them again and highly recommend their services to any property owner who wants the expertise of a property management company. read more

The Spokane Valley Management team are jerks. Was not impressed. Paid them alot of rent over the years, and the broker "Maria" came off like a Ice Queen. Basicly a "screw you, you gave notice". Definatly NOT a people person. I would not rent from this firm again. Count on it. read more

I would definitely say that MT Management has been more than exceptional as far as service and communication goes. I am a first time renter as i just turned 19 and i was extremely confused on the whole process. I could have gone with many other property managers but MT was by far the best at handling my 5+ phone calls a day and essentially just doing a really good job at handling young adults without overwhelming them. They guided me through the process and explained everything very clearly and that was awesome. read more

They are not the worst company to go through but they are definitely not the best. I had several problems while renting out an apartment from them. The majority of staff there seem to not give two s**** about you as a renter once your moved in. Especially Maria, the "head hancho" or what she made herself seem to be. There is both good and bad in this review, pleas read both parts. I would not rent from this company, and that's an opinion I developed before I even got the chance to rent from them. My girlfriend and I were looking for a new place and after paying the application fee, and waiting we were rejected. I called twice to find out what the problem was, leaving a message for the "boss" each time, thinking maybe it was something that could be solved by a co-signer or something. Never got a call back, and when my girlfriend tried to call to find out, since she did most of the dealing with the company while I worked during the day (she works evenings, together the two of us make $5,000 a month in secure jobs, it's not like we're deadbeats who barely make ends meet). When my girlfriend called the woman she spoke to was extremely rude, snotty, and hung up on her, after refusing to discuss the cause for rejection. This must be the infamous "Maria" that I've read about in other reviews. I suspect our applications got rejected due to my rental/credit history. I have one unlawful eviction on my record (which I was honest about on my application) and the paperwork to prove that it was unlawful and is being taken care of, and while my credit isn't great, there are very obvious signs of it being improved upon. I've been living in the same place for the last three years, and my landlord has provided me with an excellent reference, including rent never being late once in the three years that I've lived there. My girlfriend has great rental history and credit. She gets pre-approved credit card offers in the mail every two or so months, each one with a limit of at least $2,000.00. I point all this out because it's a prime example of a company that is out of touch with their customers. Only caring about the bottom line and not so much about the people element. Anything more than half a glance at our proof of income and landlord references for almost half a decade would prove that we're viable tenants. A friend of mine works for NAI Black in Spokane, and she warned me that M-T Management was kind of a joke in the property management world, and said this exact situation would happen. Should have listened to her and saved the $70 in application fees. All that being said, we REALLY wanted to move into one of their properties. Yes, the style of the home was about fifteen years out of date, when referring to trim coloring and styles and whatnot, but everything else about the property was perfect. For the size and the location, you couldn't beat the price. We were really disappointed to not get the chance to live in the property we were looking at. So in the end, I would like to give them a higher rating, because of their value and their properties, at least the ones that I saw, but I can't give more than two because of the utter abomination that is the office team, and their inability to work with the people that they depend upon for income. read more

5 yrs and they have ruined my rental history. The posted to my credit twice, two different amounts due. For the past year i have had to pay for credit repair where at least one of their reports were removed while im still disputing the dollar amount. See, they took over a property from another company two yrs after i moved in. So little things like a key i never had to a garage door, a pull chain light that never worked that im being charged for. They got a proposal for yard work, then wrote up their own invoice and claimed (on that same invoice) a partial kitchen counter top needed replacement. They are rude, no where near people persons.
