However, a lot of riff raff and rough people because this is where Caltrain bumps off non-paying riders and unhygienic homeless people. Lots of strangers hanging out at all hours, but none of them particularly dangerous. No toilets, no restrooms, no water, only benches. Tolerable if you are waiting for a train. Now featuring a Lot Cop for reduced car break-ins. Original Greyhound Terminal now owned and operated by Samtrans. No Public Access and No Greyhound service, but is an interesting building to look at. Makes we wish we had regional bus service to the Coast, it would connect well with Caltrain. NOTE ! Greyhound does still serve Redwood City one block away at 850 Winslow Street .. outside an abandoned store. At 12 AM Only. With service like this you're better off taking Samtrans or Caltrain. I used the "Throne" branded "free" toilet paid by my tax money. The entry process with the QR code and SMS text message was interesting, but functional. Of writing, this is a brand new, unused unit with no graffiti, trash or discoloration. TP was fully stocked, all plumbing/electrical worked and the toilets/sink function as expected with clean water. Fully ADA Compliant with NO issues with the access ramp.

Review for Clean This Up Stop # 334012…read more First clean this trash and sanitize the seating area. And I still won't see yet the psychological belief that it is clean would help. Sheesh. Does the city ever patrol this area all of these hotels one mile near the airport someone to clean this up. What do the hotel taxes pay for? And all of that being said... Bus Route 292 has been reliable and on-time as scheduled. Inside the buses are very clean. Driver's customer service range from zilch to exceptional. Heck even one bus driver refused to put on the headlights kept turning them on and off throughout the ride. Until I yelled at the bus driver that were noticing the shenanigans. Not sure what this was about and very concerning. On another note a driver would get off the bus to help the elderly with luggage, check on riders that appeared to be sleeping or not alert, engage in conversation and the actual first duty that seems to be forgotten, he knew his route and would answer questions to avoid non-San Franciscians getting lost. I did not always have the correct change so I paid what was in my pocket and I didn't receive any grief. Also noted are the bus stops are hard to detect it might be a stop painted on a pole, it could be a sign behind a tree or even a sign behind a satellite pad. Be aware of the stops and make sure you wave down the driver as more than one bus is sometimes on the same route. I traveled this route to and from the airport area to downtown San Francisco for a total of 5 days my primary location was Zuckerberg hospital which is a 30 minute bus ride. Yes, I would recommend

You can take it clockwise (gray route) or counterclockwise (red route). The shuttle is clean and spacious and has free wifi; when I rode it on a Saturday, it was pretty empty. Its weekday hours were also recently expanded to 7am to 7pm, making it a viable work commute option. You can even track it live via a website or phone app (I haven't tried the app), which makes catching the shuttle a breeze. I did notice both times I rode the shuttle that there was an incident of someone shouting at the driver to stop because they needed to get off, but it was hard to tell whether the driver had missed their stop request or they had tried to get off somewhere that wasn't a stop.

I am not from Mountain View but this cute little shuttle does great magic for people who are native to the area. People of all ages ride this. There was one time where it can be full of young people who want to save gas on getting around their city of residence. Other times it's a mix of people from age 4 to 85 that want to go to the doctors, San Antonio Shopping Center or a random Starbucks. On Saturdays it can go near Shoreline so if you are biking near the VTA bus yard this bus can be your resting area thanks to their bike racks. I live in a low-income area of San Jose and are really jealous that nothing like this exists near where I live. I wish it did so I could save money on gas. Note: We are still in a pandemic so please wear a mask. Staff here wear masks and seating is limited so continue to social distance.

I found that Palo Alto was sunny and warmer than Berkeley CA. Berkeley started to feel less comfortable and Palo Alto shopping center was a nicer oasis. Unlike other stations, Menlo Park CalTrain is quite safe and not suffering from a homeless encampment problem. My wife told me driver was pushy as she expressed her concern about getting in the car without one. Driver was very rude and told her she would be charged whether she got in the car or not and expressed that she had to hurry and make a decision because he had another trip that she was going to make him late for. She ended up getting in and driver was weaving in and out of traffic driving recklessly and fast, she asked him if he could slow down a little because she was feeling uneasy. He then told her that he's driving faster because she made him late to begin with. I called to complain about everything and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Rashad and a gentleman he was NOT. Rashad told me that the original driver couldn't make it and another one was sent and that these things happen, he was NOT remorseful at all and was pretty much laughing at the matter with his response being sh*t happens sometimes and began to tell me if my family got in the car when the driver got there he wouldn't of drove like that.
