Recently had a work retreat take place in Livermore, CA this past weekend and needed a limo service that can transport eight (8) coworkers around the Livermore wineries Friday. I have had some colleagues mentioned that they used NLS Transportation for their weddings and other special occasions and thought I would try them for this corporate retreat. Contacted Rashad a month in advance letting him know what I was needing and he gave me the best recommendations ranging from how many seats I will truly need in the limo to the amount of time I would want to spend in Livermore. He was also accommodating to the point that I didn't need a set itinerary of the wineries we were planning on visiting until the day of the trip. I also appreciated the various reminders I had for their upcoming services that ranged from a week out reminder, day before reminder and day of reminder. Other Pros: -Service was beyond everything I expected! Our limo driver showed up at least 15 minutes prior to our set pick up time, ready to start our excursion. He didn't not rush us out of the hotel, he just informed us that he would be outside ready to go whenever we were ready. -The limo was fully stocked with ice, waters and cocktail glasses. -The limo was polished and clean both the exterior and interior. -Our driver took the time before our departure to show us how to navigate through the radio/music system in the back of the limo. -There was also large trunk space for room to store extra waters, bags and other miscellaneous items we wanted to pack. -At every stop, our limo driver provided his contact information where we could text him prior to our next departure on our next location and was waiting for us out front of each stop when we were ready to leave. -I will say chivalry is not dead-our driver was super polite but opened the car door every time which is a quality and trait I truly admire the most. -He was also kind and offered to take some of our group photos either in front of the limo or in front of the establishment without us asking. Again, that is something I also admire because the group I traveled with is very picture happy. In the end our trip had extended over the time frame I had booked. We had asked our driver if this was going to be a problem and it wasn't. He was very accommodating and didn't rush us to leave. I really appreciated the flexibility he provided on the spot. Overall I was beyond ecstatic of the service that was provided for this work retreat. Hands down, I would use NLS Transportation again for future work retreats and would highly recommend this company to any friend or colleague who is in need of any kind of car service they provide. Arranged a car through NLS from SFO to Menlo Park for my wife and daughter was told the driver would have a car seat for her. Driver showed up 35 min late with NO car seat. My wife told me driver was pushy as she expressed her concern about getting in the car without one. Driver was very rude and told her she would be charged whether she got in the car or not and expressed that she had to hurry and make a decision because he had another trip that she was going to make him late for. She ended up getting in and driver was weaving in and out of traffic driving recklessly and fast, she asked him if he could slow down a little because she was feeling uneasy. He then told her that he's driving faster because she made him late to begin with. I called to complain about everything and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Rashad and a gentleman he was NOT. Rashad told me that the original driver couldn't make it and another one was sent and that these things happen, he was NOT remorseful at all and was pretty much laughing at the matter with his response being sh*t happens sometimes and began to tell me if my family got in the car when the driver got there he wouldn't of drove like that. My first experience with NLS was for my birthday/girls night out and it was amazing! Our driver Rashad made sure that my guests and I were taken care of in every way possible. I didn't have to do a thing but have fun and enjoy the amazing night out in the city with my friends! I coordinated a guys night out for my husband and his friends and wanted them to be able to enjoy their night and indulge in a few drinks without having to worry about driving. After talking with Rashad, I was immediately put as ease. I got the best rate in the bay area along with stellar service. I am a person who has several questions and like to make sure things go according to planned so I called or texted Rashad about 10 times prior to the evening. He was extremely patient, understanding, and clearly wanted to make this night perfect for my husband. The driver arrived on time and was flexible about the ending time. I rented a shuttle bus from NLS for a wedding in the bay area that had the ceremony in SF and the reception in Berkeley. Rashad was very nice and easy to work with over the phone, helping me to decide which type of car/bus to rent and telling me about their fleet. His prices are reasonable and you are definitely getting a great value for the money. I was nervous using a small company because I wanted to be sure that everything would go smoothly the day of the event, but somehow after talking with Rashad, I felt like we would be in good hands. I recently had a trip to Kauai and I was looking for a transportation service and I'm grateful I found NLS transportation. It was easy to schedule through there website and even getting a hold of someone on the phone the first try, which secured my decision to move forward with this company plus all of the 5 star reviews here on Yelp helped ; ). When I scheduled my transportation, I received, emails, text message that everything was confirmed and as we got closer to the trip I received a 72-hour notification and a 24-hour letting me know everything is ok and we are still on track for my departure date. On departure day, the driver showed up on time as planned, very polite and professional, the car was cleaned and covid friendly with a screen divider to ensure there was some type of barrier which was nice to have and we headed to the airport with no issues. The flight home was the same with a few caveats from Alaska which had us arriving 11:30 PM instead of the original 9:00 PM but NLS was there and adjusted there schedule to my incoming flights schedule and we made it home safely after a long day of traveling. Chris picked us up on time at SFO International Arrivals Terminal Limo Area. We were 1 hour late into SFO, but Chris and NLS Transportation were right on time to pick us up in a lovely Town Car. It was a very welcoming site indeed. We were exhausted. Chis struck the right balance. Friendly, Professional, but not overly chatty or overly friendly. Just right! I received a text message from Chris as soon as we touched down at SFO, and I texted him back once we passed Passport Control, and then Customs. We waited no longer than 5 minutes at the curbside. I recently used NLS Limousine service for an airport transfer between San Jose and SFO, both on my departure and return. For my departure the driver was right on time, at 3:30 AM! My return flight was delayed by about 1.5 hours, I think. But they monitored my flight status and I updated them before taking off. After I landed and got my luggage I called the driver and he was there in less than 5 minutes. This was very helpful since I arrived at about 11 PM after about 24 hours of travel back from Europe. These are my go-to guys for transportation to and from area airports when I have family travel. I have had too many scary cab-for-hire instances where I wasn't sure my children and I would arrive safely home due to reckless driving on the 101. They are SAFE, friendly, professional, fast to reply and have been accommodating for last minute reservations. I am a big fan of their car service. Vehicles are well maintained. Drivers are as chatty or as quiet as you are. They will do early am or late pm pickups. We live very close to their HQ and have never experienced a delay or concern - they are almost always 10 min early and happy to help with bags. I tried this service based on the high star rating and it being 'best of yelp'. Well, the experience was terrible. I booked them today for an early morning flight for my brother in law. They confirmed my online reservation and agreed to be at my home at 5:15am. Well, at 5:30am my brother in law was still standing outside in a panic that we was going to miss his flight home - and he finds out the driver overslept. The company promised to get someone else over the house - but it was way too late. We ended up having to scramble our entire morning and took him to the airport ourselves. It was really embarrassing - and he got to the airport so last minute, they told him he missed the cutoff for checking his luggage. I would NEVER use this company again. I've used so many car services over the years - and this is the first one, ever, that blew off our appointment. if you can't get your driver to a house as promised, you really can't be counted on for anything important.
