Despite multiple follow-ups, promises of a call back "by the end of the day" never materialized. I was even told the issue would be "personally" handled before 5pm -- that was weeks ago. The communication and follow-through are deeply disappointing. Based on my experience, the system they have in place for referrals is disorganized and inefficient. I genuinely hope others have a better experience, but I personally cannot recommend this office. Time to depart and look for a new place, I'm done.

I requested a referral more than 3 weeks before my appointment, and was told several times the coordinator was working on it. I called the office coordinator Melanie every single day for two weeks for an update, but never received a call back from her explaining the status. The day before my appointment an office assistant admitted they never submitted the referral. This level of neglect and complete unprofessionalism is absolutely unacceptable. I filed a grievance with my healthcare provider but that won't fix this issue. The office staff working at Tri-State have no business working in healthcare.

Choosing Holding Hands over other facilities is the best decision I have made. Everything is clean ( including their restrooms) Toys are sanitized and well organized. Everyone is friendly and warm. One more thing I love about this facility is that they LISTEN. It is very important to me that people will listen to my concerns, and even if I dont say it, they will give suggestions and inform me of what I need to know, they are able to adjust to and accomodate my requests to meet the needs of my daughter and they were able to resolve issues professionally in a timely manner. Our BCBA Michelle and Janise are very smart, competent and knowledgeable, my daughter's therapist, Angela, is very professional, efficient and dedicated to her work. All of them have been very supportive, understanding and patient, I cant thank them enough for everything they have done. My daughter is hyperactive and runs away from me, she refused to hold my hand or sit still when needed, thats why its hard for me to take her out in public places by myself, its always been a struggle, but she has changed so much just a few weeks of her session, I will never forget the day I was able to take my daughter with me as I run errands, she walked next to me holding my hand. We were able to overcome elopement challenges because of their help. I have learned so much from them and appreciate everyone in this facility.

Prior to him attending Helping Hands, he was saying his ABCs and 123s but not correctly. He's been non verbal basically and still can't put a sentence together, but now he started saying mom and dad because of this program. They work with him and use different methods and tactics, and also positive reinforcements, that I honestly need to work on. They communicate with me daily to let me know his progress and how I can also help him at home. I'm very happy with this program and the amazing people who put in the time to help these kids thrive and I'm so glad I found them.

I first walked in and was not greeted by anybody, i was already late I admit, but i stumbled in looking to see someone in the front to help me and was instead faced with two staff who were facing the opposite direction, i was not greeted, i was not told to have a seat, so i sort of stood there and waited; and took it upon myself to have a seat and wait considering eventually, someone would greet me and ask me what they can help me with instead I was not and continue to sit and be patient and thought that it would be best to wait until they approach me. Seeing that I was already late, and the time was just getting later. I decided to speak and say something and was finally brought to the staff's attention. I understand the heavy flow of work and dedication. It takes to be a staff member at a doctors office, especially for children, but a little bit of common decency can help go a long way which I felt like there was a lack of by the staff up front. Considering I'm the one who asked if someone can help me and explain my situation of being late and then being told that since I'm late, I lost the appointment and would have to wait and hope that another patient won't show up to get my child seen was very frustrating I tried explaining to them to help understand my situation if a client keeps showing up, and there was no human decency in the answered questions leaving a frustrated person let alone a mother furious. It wasn't until the sweet lady mentioned in the beginning of this review, stepped in and resolve this situation in less than one minute, truly showing that things can be solved. Much simpler and much better. If there is just some kind of human decency, I understand to them. I am just another patient but to me that is my daughter and I know they see several clients a day but really all it takes is some kindness which really Khajana demonstrated. I hope to see more people like her involved in this clinic. She truly made my day from going horrible. She reassured me and treated me like a human and not a piece of paper! And really sometimes that's all people need. I'm happy to hear she will be taking the action to make the right changes around there. Big shout out to KHAJANA!

By far the worst clinic to go to for a blood draw. My boyfriend went in for lab work, and two days…read morelater the receptionist called and said they had made a mistake with his blood sample/results and that he needed to come back for another blood draw. He returned on the day they instructed him to, arriving shortly after they reopened from lunch at 1 PM, only to be told that they don't perform blood draws after 1 PM on Saturdays. There was no communication about this when they called him to come back. After making a trip because of the clinic's error, he was turned away without being assisted. The lack of communication, organization, and consideration for patients' time is extremely frustrating and disappointing.

It used to be a good agency years ago!!…read more Staff constantly changing...hard to keep up with behaviorists that don't show up on time and chronically late to sessions. BF Agency does not do anything about it. They set rules and guidelines that benefit the company and not the child. Cancellation line hardly picks up the phone during normal business hours and they expect you to notify the office by calling but no one picks up...or they are half asleep when they finally answer the phone.
