And after we had our wedding, our guest did nothing but rave about how fun, unique and perfect the reception was. But just having a reception at RTM is not what I'd recommend it. It was so much more. It was having the incredible variety of foods - we had cheesesteaks, DiNic's roast pork, Chinese food, a salad bar, poutine and corn dogs, grilled cheese from Meltkraft, the list goes on. It was having a historic and unique setting that was transformed into a beautiful evening even with string lights, candles, table clothes, decorations and provided an ambiance it'd be impossible to replicate anywhere else. It was the servers who attended to our guests every need, kept the party going, the room clean and the people happy. It was every little touch that the planning team executed perfectly for us, that all happened without us realizing it, without any reminders or questions. The planning team at All About Events were the true heroes of the night - and in fact, the whole planning process. We met with them about 15 months before our wedding, and Christina, Stevie and Liam made sure that everything was easy, fun and exciting. Christina's emails to us were always clear and thorough, addressing every little question I had asked, and pointing out tiny things I never would have thought of. Stevie's communication with our vendors was so appreciated, including our Mummers and DJ! And every time we met with them, the meetings were exciting, joyful. Their personalities and kindness and caring for us and our events just SHONE. We could not recommend RTM and AAE more. They are a truly wonderful team, and a gem in the Philadelphia wedding scene. I hope that we get to go to another event at the market soon, and we will certainly keep them in mind for our 10th anniversary vow renewal!!!!

So amazing to make stuff with your own hands (with help from someone who really knows what they're…read moredoing). Although you wouldn't know from the outside, the space is amazing-colorful, bright, inviting and lends itself to the creative mind. There are multiple large rooms that can each accommodate maybe 15? people (due to the equipment) with sinks for cleaning everything off at the end. The instructor started off a little dry but ended up really engaging everyone and the entire group seemed to have a great time. We had a one hour session and, after getting setup with an apron and a clay working station, we got to choose what basic item we wanted to make, got guidance throughout the process, decorated our creations and decided on the color for the pros to add on after the fact. Items are fired/cured and picked up in several weeks. It was a great, chill way to spend a weekend morning and I'm looking forward to bringing my treasure home in a few weeks.

We each ended up making a flower vase and a bowl. Just a heads-up: you'll need to wait about 30 days to pick up your finished pieces since they need time to be fired, glazed, and properly dried. Overall, it was a fantastic experience--fun, relaxing, and very beginner-friendly. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a unique activity in Philly! Throughout the entire process she was easy to communicate with and kept me updated with any knew ideas she had to fit my vision. The day of our wedding I was blown away. The bouquets for me and my ten bridesmaids were some of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. I wanted a very neutral, natural theme with a touch of succulents and Caroline delivered!
