When I asked her which 3 milks did she use for her tres leches cake, I asked because the recipe I use has coconut milk. She said that she can't use coconut milk because "this is Connecticut" which I'm guessing means that even something as bland as coconut milk is probably too exotic for Connecticut WASPs.
