Breakfast:poached eggs over homemade corned beef hash, Multi-grain toast, coffee( with complimentary refill, if desired)

First visit to this cozy location in Woodbury, CT( 20 Sherman Hill). Went for breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Tables and 'high tops' for seating. Order from menu at register & be served where you're seated. Pleasant staff.. and a bakery section with muffins , scones, etc to eat in or 'take out'. Outdoor seating available, as weather permits, with awning for protection against sun. Definitely returning. Breakfast/brunch menu.

Great place for breakfast in the center of Woodbury! The food was fresh and nicely presented. The place is spacious and clean. The fried green tomatoes egg benedict I ordered were yummy but they were made with biscuits, which don't keep their shape when you cut them; I would have preferred them on an English muffin. The arugula salad was beyond delicious. We are planning to go back.

Crisp, clean modern look all around and good food! The chicken and waffle special was the better of the two plates we ordered, the other one being the Venetian schnitzel eggs benedict. The chicken was perfectly cooked for both dishes, just wish arugula wasn't the partner for the benny as we just don't care for it. The coffees were good too! Staff was friendly and service was quick.

Came here for the first time on a Saturday. I was visiting the area and saw that it had good reviews so I came to check it out. It's a very cute place. You order at the register and then you get a number if you're going to eat in so they bring the food to your table. I was there for breakfast but it also looks like that have a good lunch menu. I wound up getting the WEC bacon egg and cheese on a gluten free roll and added avocado. The sandwich was delicious and very filling, it came with a side of dressed greens which I enjoyed to lighten the meal up. To drink I tried their peppermint mocha coffee which I also enjoyed. The employees were very friendly making sure I was enjoying my meal and had everything I needed. It is a little bit on the pricier side I wasn't really sure how it added up to me spending over $20. However, it is good quality. I would definitely come back here again.

Muffins, scones, end of the day pastry case. You should see it in the morning! (Drool)

Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants hands down. Smoked salmon bahn mi, firebird sandwich, muffins, lattes and omg the almond cake! Every option is a home run. The staff are super helpful and quick. The cafe is cozy and there are a few really nice retail items. Definitely worth the drive. And visit "The Garden" nursery down the street!

I've been here a few times to grab croissants but it was our first time dining it and it was delicious! Very cozy and you can tell they have a lot of regular customers. The eggs benedict was amazing and their homemade biscuit was great. My husband got the chicken and waffles special and he loved it. We will definitely be coming back!

We LOVE this restaurant... BEST brunch we've had in Connecticut! Very friendly and helpful service. Quaint and clean eating area inside and outside.

I think that the food was good but way too expensive for what it was. Nice atmosphere nice people, but way too expensive.

Pretty good. Not mind blowing. But I had a decent meal. And the people are very nice. It's kinda pricy though. Overall, a good place.

Small cafe with delicious food. There isn't too much seating so it's best for small groups, but the food is amazing. Highly recommend.

UPDATE: Six days after my initial review, I had to drive the 20 miles from my house to get…read morebreakfast so that I could again enjoy the crispy homemade Corned Beef Hash I've dreamed of all week? It's that good. Food quality/price (value) rating 10. The atmosphere is classic family friendly diner. I stopped here after I just happened to pass by while headed to a friends house and decided I could eat some breakfast. I'm very happy that I did. The place was bustling on a Saturday morning and I was probably lucky to get a seat at the counter. By the time I had finished breakfast, there was a waiting line out the door which is always a good sign. The owner and Griddle Master, Peter, and his wife Stephanie, have operated this diner at this location for more than thirty years! I had the breakfast special of two eggs, HOMEMADE CORNED BEEF HASH (like striking gold), homefries, and bakery fresh rye toast - incredible! Probably the best breakfast I've had in years, seriously. The corned beef hash was properly crispy, as were the homefries, which rarely occurs at most diners even when requested. There were at least five people keeping the customers happy, and the staff and customers were all friendly and talkative. That is a bonus found only in small country towns like Southbury, a small New England postcard quality town right off Interstate 84 exit 15. If you're looking for a truly old time experience that is rare these days, run here as soon as you can. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed! I will be bringing the wife back very soon. Closed Mondays.

Pete, the chef, clearly knows his way around a grill, and the whole staff was incredibly friendly and personable -- the kind of place where you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. Great food, great people, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping in!
