We had to do 37 maintenance requests in 24 months of being here! Because of several floods caused from our clothes washer, our floor started coming up! This started in April 2022. In Oct 2022 we asked again, when will you replace it! They said we don't have the supplies to fix it. Eventually mold grew on our drywall in our closet which is right behind the washer! In March2023 close to the end of our lease. The fire sprinkler went off on our patio! No one investigated why. Some water came into our place. The maintenance came in quickly and dry vac and we mopped up the rest. No damage! The day prior my wife discovered the mold on the closet wall when she moved some things away from the wall, she did not report it yet. She told the Maintenace when they came to lay a new floor! Yep, a new floor! Why? they told us that they can do it now cause the insurance will cover it. Because of the little flood from the sprinkler! They fixed the moldy dry wall the next day! Great! Until the property manager blamed us for damage ( yes, it was pre existing)! Claiming that the fire sprinkler caused all the damage and it was our fault! She gave us 15 days to move out! I moved in on 09/30/23 from another state. I had roaches, ants and my apartment was INFESTED with gnats from day 1. I sent the apt complex an email the night I moved in because they were close by the time my plane landed and I got settled. My things from my previous state did not arrive until 10/11. So clearly the bugs did not come with me. I had 3 refrigerator replacements in 3 months and my refrigerator was still broken when I moved 09/27/24. When I informed the office that my refrigerator was still broken after the 3rd replacement I was advised there are a lot of residents refrigerator with the same issue they just deal with it. Hence never being fixed. I had the inspector people out quite often on Thursdays . They advised me my drains needed to be cleaned and that was why my gnat problem was so bad. Drains were never changed or cleaned. I had blonde hair in my master bedroom shower coming out of the drain. I am a black female with black hair. My toilets flooded/backed up at least 4 times while I was there. I was told it was not an emergency because I have two. Don't I pay for 2? I had a neighbor who was an absolutely nuance to all the neighbors. Walking up and down the hallway screaming and cursing. The police stayed next door to me on a regular. I have video footage. The office was so incompetent when they evicted him they forgot to evict him from his garages. 3 of which I might add he had. So then he lived out of his gargages! I had so many problems with my apart that instead of just fixing the issues they agreed to let me out of my lease early. I didn't want to move I had to move. I paid over a 1000 in vet bills because my cat stayed ill from the gnats getting in his food and water. My allergies were through the roof. They were so bad in November of 23 when my family flew in to visit me they were so grossed out because they could literally see the gnats landing on there food. I tried everything I purchased devices for to catch the gnats, bleach baking powder. You name it I tried it! Towards my move out I started getting ants. One day I came home from work ants were all over my dresser in my bedroom and couch in the living room all on the same side of room but different rooms coming from outside where the caulking/paint was cracking. I gave notice 08/15 for a move out at the latest 10/15. Moved 09/27 because I had to. Did a walk thu on 09/29 was told I was fine. Still paid until 10/15 because they told me I had to. 10/07 final pmt was made that they gave me. On 10/21 I was sent a statement subtracting my deposit for a cleaning fee and normal wear and tear from picture hanging. First of all since I paid the final bill that they told me I should not have received another water bill/etc in an apt that I no longer had keys to effective 09/19. Secondly if the apt was not cleaned or repairs needed to be made I should of been notified during the walk thru especially since I would of had time to fix or clean anything since I was still responsible until 10/15. This apt complex has had several staff members since I have lived there in a year. The staff is incompetent and has nasty attitudes. I have never lived in a community with such low professionalism in my life. I have so many emails, invoices, pictures, videos etc of everything I endured while living in this community. I have always had and maintained a beautiful home I am a complete neat freak! I could not take it. I had no plans of moving again in a year or less being I am new to Texas. But I had no choice. I paid my rent every money on time... In fact my rent stayed on auto pay the ENTIRE time I lived there even though I was not working at least half the time I was there. The fact that they have the nerve to not give me a 250 deposit back when I paid over 1700 for a 2 bedroom for my cat and myself is absolutely absurd. They may have should of picked their battles! With everything I have on them. No matter what the issue was from the very beginning they showed no sign of a care in the world! It was more so like oh well.... Never tried to fix a thing. Emails to prove that. Even the email they sent letting me know I could get out my lease per my wishes. The property manager stated "since you're not happy with your apt my manager has agreed to let you out your lease..." Umm excuse me I would be happy if I didn't have bugs/rodents as my room mates, or if I had a working refrigerator or even if I had moved into a clean apt etc. You got your monies every month on time I should of been able to live in a safe and healthy environment. I been living here since feb 2022, i've never had issues with neighbors never had issues with nobody EXCEPT management! The complex is overly full with no permit parking given to you, you're allowed to park anywhere at any time, im currently 8months pregnant and i have twin boys and work till 12at night which i get here late every day and by that time the only parking available is in the back of the complex about a 7-10min walk with both of my toddlers isn't the best thing. I was parking in the front office and first they told me not to park in the future resident parking, i stopped and parked in the regular front office parking, now we were notified we couldn't park the at all 9-6 because of them being "so busy" and future residents not being able to park anywhere. If they dont have parking available anywhere maybe they shouldn't accept future residents! Today our car was towed at 9:30am, 30mins past the time they told us we had to move! They have no legal signs that say "towing enforced from 9-6" and the other day there was a car parked there the whole day and they didnt seem to put a sticker on them or tow them! The white girl working in the office laughed when i talked to the cop. The funny thing this morning there was no other cars there! We were not bothering anybody or prohibiting anybody from parking as a future resident, at this point they're just picking on us and maybe even racially profiling us for being hispanic! I filed a complaint with corporate and will be taking further actions for the poor treatment we've received, when i tried to talk to her on why they towed the car unfairly she told me to get out the office because she was gonna call the cops on me. Please dont move here if you're a person of color! They will pick on you!! We have less than 2months left to live here and to deal with this is so unnecessary, they could of personally called my phone and asked if we could move it right at 9am because we overslept today but no they towed it immediately after the time they gave us through an email. The email isn't a legal towing sign! For a complex that's so nice and in a good area, the girl has poor customer service abilities. This isn't even about having to pay to get the car out, there's more than enough money! This is about the constant picking on us and unfair treatment. They said "we sent an email to all residents fairly to warn them" yet we were the only ones getting stickers as u can see in that black car they didnt have a sticker.( not snitching on the car but on management for their unfair treatment knowing what we personally drive). I lived here from 2021-early 2023. It seemed nice at first due to general location/area and had the convenience of HEB being so close. The apartments are definitely small for what you pay for but I was happy with my little apt and it seemed to have a nice community. Within the first 2 weeks of living here I received an email that vehicles were being broken in to. By the end of the first month I had come outside to multiple vehicles sitting on blocks. This was a consistent trend throughout my stay. I have email record of management notifying residents of a break-in as well. I also know this place allows Section 8 since I discovered the neighbor above me had her own place yet worked at Torchy's tacos down the street. No way she was paying full price or even qualified for the apt. If I'm paying over $1,500/month including utilities, I expect to not live in a ghetto. Gates were constantly broken which I'm sure contributed to the high crime in the area. Amazon packages were stolen like crazy from residents I spoke with at the pool, as I vented that mine had been regularly stolen which tells me unemployed residents were walking around all day stealing packages. As for the employees, I found them all to be nice and friendly, but lacking on follow through. Near the end of my stay my fridge went out 4 times, with 2 of the times occurring while I was out of town. This means I came back to hundreds of dollars in groceries that had spoiled. I was pretty much told to kick rocks when I asked if they could deduct some of my losses from the rent, as this had occurred multiples times and the issue clearly was not being fixed. The apartment that they wanted to rent out wasn't ready the dryer wouldn't dry my clothing completely.(still doesn't and I'm just tired of saying anything & receiving worse dryers, but that part is on me) The garages of course cost another rent separate payment which is expected...But overall my time here has been awful and sadly this is just the beginning. I've never been to a leasing office to rectify things so much in my life... and it baffles me because how am I supposed to pay rent if I'm always in the office and late for work? Go into the leasing office and everyone is great until you get the apartment and it's nothing but attitude and poor information. And you can immediately tell it's lack of communication... Giovanni has the worst attitude and will attempt to argue with you every step of the way when you're attempting to get clarification, or show him where he may have missed any information, or get things updated as he should do per the facility guidelines and he still doesn't follow through causing me to have an extra bill stating that my renters insurance was not updated... when on the top of it clearly states that it's been paid way before I actually had the time to give them the information and cancel the insurance that was offered at the facility. Maintenance is completely online which is great as long as you don't have an emergency, but I can honestly say it will take them until the next business day to come in and fix things. My first day that I moved in there was a break in, and a tenants truck was stolen... no customer service or empathy at all and the gate is always broken! That's very scary knowing that you're a target your first day of moving in. There is dog poop everywhere! We even have a dog park and there is still poop all over the place! (I blame the other tenants for this) but I can't even count how many times I've stepped in poop getting off of work. They obviously don't have a manager just an assistant manager so things that are pretty hectic for her which I do understand things may get that way. If you're in the medical field I do not recommend that you waste your money here. No one should be stressed at work and home. They really need retraining on customer service and being polite, as well a following up with resident complaints and care. I've waited months hoping things would change before I wrote a review. Here a year now, probably won't renew. 1st thing, and you'll hear this a lot, are the filthy people who refuse to clean up after their dogs. Seriously, you're a poor excuse for a human being if you leave crap lying outside. YOU took on the responsibility of pet ownership and it's YOUR job to clean up the disease spreading feces that YOU CHOOSE to leave on the ground. Trash compactor. There is ONE for the entire property. Is it in a centralized location, with easy access to all tenants? Nooooo. It's at the far end of the complex. Unless you're in bldg 8 or 9, you've got quite a walk to take out the trash. Fancy putting smelly garbage bags on the hood of your new Audi, then driving to the end of the complex to take out your trash? I see it every day. And yes, mostly due to lazy tenants, the trash is sitting OUTSIDE the compactor on weekends, stinking up the place and creating an eyesore. Business center? Looks nice during the walkthrough and in the brochures, right? Closed at 6PM WEEKDAYS. Lovely computers in there, too bad folks who work for a living can't use them. The New Management. We used to have "something" resembling community spirit. Monthly get togethers, mostly, but they were a good way to meet the neighbors. Gone now. Pity, that. Dogs? Have I mentioned the residents who leave them outside, on the patio, barking all evening? It's in the lease that everyone signs. Something about "no pets are to be left on the patio". Whatever. People can be inconsiderate jerks, but the management ought to be doing everything, up to terminating leases, of those who choose not to follow the rules they promised to obey. Lastly, several of the walk in security gates haven't been able to latch shut for more than 6 months. Want to tour the property some evening, or just case the joint for your Christmas "shopping"? Can hear my neigbors showering, using the toilet etc Some neighbors do not have any sense of space or boundaries, They'll creep around the tenants windows late at night with flash lights. I was a bit nervous after I signed my lease and noticed that the reviews weren't all that great. With that being said, I have had zero problems since I've moved in. If I have an issue, maintenance is usually there the same day (once they were at my apartment 20 minutes later). The community itself is awesome, everyone is so friendly. Management is friendly, prices are great, and the location is FANTASTIC. I saw a few reviews that they were infested with bugs: I have not seen one bug in my apartment (granted, I keep my apartment clean 24/7). I heard that there were break-ins, there has been one since I moved in but management hired security to patrol the parking lots. Break-ins happen everywhere so I don't think it's the end of the world. The community is not unsafe by any means. If I could make any sort of recommendation it would be that they add another dumpster on the other side of the property. It is a hassle to load all of my trash into my car and drive all the way over there. But that's it!! That's the only thing I would change about this complex! So I had a 10 month lease at this apartment and moved out solely because I wanted to move closer to downtown. I hate everyone else seemed to have horrible experiences but mine was great! I was on the 3rd floor on purpose because I don't like hearing people walk like you find in most apartments. I don't think it's fair to complain about that. Yes there is 1 trash compactor which is kind of annoying but I knew that before I leased. Most people just put the trash on their hood or trunk and drive to the compactor. This property came highly recommended by another resident. We went today for a tour and it was a disheartening experience I begin to think maybe I was at the wrong complex. We sat in the lobby and no one came to greet us. Eventually a young lady came from the side door and asked if we were there to view apartments. We said yes and she left. A few moments later I decided to get up and peek my head around the corner. I then asked of we were supposed to come into the office. She said "Yes." She didn't introduce herself, she didn't ask our names, she didn't greet us, nor did she make us feel welcomed. She asked for our ID's walked us to the model. Took us back to the office and gave us back our ID's. She didn't give us a tour of the property, didn't show us the gym, pool, business center.....:NOTHING!!! For once in my adult life I actually felt what discrimination and biased business practices felt like. I was so disgusted by her blatant behavior I was at a loss for words. At the end of the day, I left feeling angry, hurt, violated, and shamed. As a matter of fact, the racism was so obvious she didn't offer us an application, give us a business card, or her name. Beautiful property by employees "ugly" souls! I will give bad scores because she didn't have the common courtesy to hide the way she felt about minorities. Therefore we didn't receive a tour. We've had fire alarms in the middle of the night from low pressure water systems that took 1.5hrs to respond too, break ins to the cars parked outside, break ins to garages. The manager is a jerk. The office people are nice but not empowered to make any decisions and they are quick to send threatening letters. Not sure who writes their communications (probably that manager I referred too), but every letter from them is threatening... pickup the trash or pay a fine, rents due by or pay, pay by this date or will go to collections... now, let me be clear.. these are FIRST letters or GENERAL letters to everyone. I've need had trash problems, my rent has always been paid thru automatic deduction and I've never been late. The move out process the nickel and dime you to extract every penny the can. In my first month, the roof started leaking rain water into my apartment. For 2 weeks I had drywall falling down and water consistently pouring into my kitchen before they did anything about it. I couldn't use my kitchen at all for that time and several of my personal items had to be thrown away. When I tried talking to Patricia (the manager) she wasn't only rude and unprofessional, but also lied several times saying it was fixed. Looks great on the outside. However, the apartments seem very poorly constructed. The walls are paper thin and do not block out ANY noise. There's only one trash compactor in the whole place. The management is not very professional and seems very poorly trained (the manager does not know how to deal with people). Overall, this place tries to pretend its luxury while its probably the opposite in actuality. I currently live in a college apartment that is leaps are bounds better than this poor place, and that's not even saying much. BTW, the FIRST week I moved in, they apparently sent me a renewal notice (yeah that makes total sense). They required a 60 day vacate notice on a 90 day lease (yeah that makes total sense). Needless to say, my dumb self forgot to put in a notice. Of course they charged me, and forced me to stay an extra month. I bet they were so happy too. Great group of scam artists. They knew I was an HP intern here temporarily, yet never did I hear anything about this from them. There was not a positive interaction with the management team, despite change in staff, since the beginning of our lease. While it is easy to be forgiving of those who are lacking knowledge, it was an entirely different experience to be subjected to a management team who is lacking integrity. It took several dozen calls to reach any contact, without a returned call. Even when there was to be staff in office, the doors were unlocked in the leasing office, there was no one to be found. It is not worth the time or money to reside at this property, despite the draw of the surrounding location. When I believed this experience would finally be over, I showed up for a scheduled appointment to turn in the keys and close all items, and waited thirty minutes for a staff member to return from an unknown location to the staff office asking if I was present for a package. read more

Recently, I locked myself out of the clubhouse after hours, it took one phone call and within 10 minutes one of the staff members was here in her PJ's to let me back in. She definitely could have made me wait in the cold, but she didn't. She came quickly, in the cold drizzly weather and she was the sweetest. She was apologizing to me even though I was the one that caused the inconvenience. They have also been so quick to answer any of my questions or needs. The maintenance man has called me while in my apartment to ask if there is anything else he can do for me in addition to the request i've made online. These apartments are really beautiful on the inside, but the management lacks a little customer service. There are no elevators and we still pay for trash yet there is no trash pick up like other places. The water pressure is so low and hot water is terrible, finally had to get our own shower head because the two the complex supplied just dripped. I had an ant infestation for weeks and finally had to take care of it myself because management did nothing. The only reason this place is great is really the location, you can walk across to the vintage area at any time and it has really nice countertops. read more

This place served a purpose. For a very brief time it was a fabulous place to live, the management was on point, helpful, knowledgeable, extremely friendly and the facility was well kept. Unfortunately it has unraveled since MAA or whatever idiots run the show now. It took them a month to file our lease extension, which I am only doing because of current work conditions (I'd be living in a better place by now otherwise). And most recently and disgustingly the maintenance staff used my toilet during a service check, left the seat up (I'm a female so it was obvious) and someone left A DIRTY SHIRT IN MY ROOM. All while I was at work. DISGUSTING AND UNACCEPTABLE. The people renting are lazy and trashy, no one picks up after their dogs and even after repeated emails, people still can't figure out how to use a compactor. I almost completely forgot to review this apartment complex until they emailed me a survey (from a contact list in which they should have deleted me from!) Lets just start off the say that when I signed up the live in these "luxury" apartments, I thought hey whatever, decent apartments, rent was high but I was in a nicer area than downtown, what could go wrong?! 1. Not energy efficient. My bill was continually high, and I am a VERY modest AC user, as in I use it very rarely. Don't let them thinking you will lower your energy bill because it's a lie. 2. Parking is a huge issue, I lived next to the exit gate and if I came home around 6pm, every single spot was taken and I would have to park in front of a different building. 3. You think you're in a nice area? Try again (duh! this IS Houston!). Upon coming home one day, one of my neighbors (whom I had long suspected was peddling drugs) was about to be raided by an undercover police sting! Though very entertaining, kinda B*llsh*t that the complex wasn't wise to his ways. Constant visitor just HANGING OUT outside his apartment? He ran a 'mobile cleaning' company? Ya. Right. He was only one of many thugs constantly creeping around the complex. 4. Though nice, the staff is completely incompetent. I ended up deciding to move to another state and given certain language that was in my lease (which they have since REMOVED), I was not contractually obligated to pay any fees other than my last amounts rent. Shannon has/had NO IDEA what she was talking about (as confirmed by Mallory who flat out TOLD ME I didn't have to pay additional fees), and you could definitely tell from her body language she was just trying to say what sounded right. I paid what I needed and left the place, thank GOD. 5.....Last but not least, I had asked a friend who still lived at the complex to monitor when the complex ended up renting out my unit because I sure as hell didn't trust them to let me know. A month went by, called and found out they hadn't even LISTED IT as open for a month! (meaning I had to pay more money!), then as soon as they did? SURPRISE! It was scooped up right away and still I didn't receive a phone call until after I harassed the office to get the information out of them. It might look nice on the outside, but unless the staff has changed, they are as I said before, incompetent. Every persons story is probably different, I'm sure some people love it there (the people who don't pay their own rent, their parents pay for them maybe). But for someone who spends their hard earned money on this shit. Beware. read more

I moved in these apartments when they just opened up. Since the day we moved in the ac hasnt worked properly, things have fallen apart, seals didnt seal properly, the floor was bubbling up, the keys would jam, the garage door would stick and sounded like it was about to fall off, and there is ZERO sound deadening material in the cealing. The sound from the upstairs neighbors walking around was so loud it would rattle the cabinets. Not to mention, walking the the halls feels like you just took a trip to the pound. Wayyy too many dogs barking here. Maintenance is worthless. They NEVER fixed the ac. There has been mold in the apartment and clothes intermitantly since a week after move in. Cabinets have fallen off when opening them and maintenance NEVER fixed them even after multiple requests. I have documented everything and am contemplating a lawsuit. read more

Save yourself from the headache. I lived here for two years and was pretty comfortable because I hate moving. During the time I felt I could deal with anything until purchasing a home. During my stay every Mercedes Benz on the property experienced vandalism resulting in stolen rear view mirrors. I complained about the lighting countless times as a single woman and how unsafe things were. My place faced the street to Louetta. One night someone knocked on my window and I called the police and notified the office. Gates do not surround that area leaving you vulnerable to the access roads. I didn't think of that as a single woman when I moved there in the first floor. Constantly asked management to pressure wash the walls in the breeze way. Toilet in the master bedroom wiggled when sitting. Maintenance applications more stuff around the base but would come apart each time. Each time it rained I noticed the floor in my guess ro was wet. Never did anything. So the BIG kicker; during Harvey ever window in my apartment leaked water. Water was coming out of the faux wood in the living room, through the carpet in the master and of course through the carpet in the guess room. Did I mention I lived on the first floor. Water as leaking from the ceiling. I was also experiencing a miscarriage during the storm. The apartment management came over and pulled the rug back with a large fan to let it dry. It wasn't until my friends came over and said my place smelled like mildew and I had to get out. Called the office and received no assistance so I stayed at the hotel down the street. I asked them to let me out of my lease, they agreed. I was admitted into the hospital for a few days. Went back to my hotel to find movers after being discharged. Let's just say finding movers and storage immediately after Harvey was a nightmare. Finally found movers and packers as I was not in the condition to do so. The apartment people literally allowed painters in the into the unit who broke a few things and ate food out of the refrigerator while my things were there. Drum roll please, they charged me for 3-4days because I did not have everything out of the unit by that Friday. As of today, I have a $500 bill on my credit because of this place. This has been one of the worse experiences in my life. I waited to post with hopes the management and or Corporate office would resolve. To this very date not one person returned my call. The management team was horrible at the the time. Not sure who's there now as the team turned over at least 4-5 times during my time there. Love the area and the convenience of everything. But the Retreat @ Vintage Park was far from a retreat. Wish the ability of no stars was available. read more

BEWARE of the leasing office. Staff including the main Property manager don't have a clue what they are doing. They run applications incorrectly and keep the money. Also, when you come in to even just look expect to be there for 2 hours as you wait for them to have time for you. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS PLACE TO LIVE IN YOUR APARTMENT SEARCH!!!!! You've seen the bad reviews and been warned and please don't take these lightly. This is one of THE MOST outrageously priced apartment communities in the area. Please trust me when I tell you that it is not even almost worth it. I moved in late June and have had problems since I've been here. To begin, the apartments are poorly structured. You can hear every. single. thing. through these walls. I've never met my immediate neighbors (not even seen them through passing in the hallways), but I can probably tell you more about their life then you would need to know. One has a newborn baby (congrats!) and the others are a young couple with infidelity issues that i occasionally get woken up by all hours of the night. When your neighbors arrive home or leave you are made aware as every apartment in that hallway are because your door shakes and makes a slamming noice with theirs. The first few times, and even now (after 5 months) it scares me so bad I almost have to go into complete burglary alert. It sounds as if someone is about to intrude on your home. ***"Trash compactor". I urge you to ask about the trash fees that you ARE REQUIRED TO PAY ON A MONTHLY bases to "maintain" a trash compactor that rarely works. If you search "RETREAT AT VINTAGE PARK" you'll see the trash issues that we commonly deal with. Typically when you associate trash fees with rent on an apartment it's for "Valet trash". They do NOT OFFER ANY SORT OF VALET TRASH!!!!! Residents here (including myself) have to load up their trash in the back of their vehicles (4-5 times a week) and drive it to the compactor. THE ONE COMPACTOR THAT THEY HAVE ON SITE. I live the furthest away from the compactor so as you may assume, doing this duty is often more of a chore rather than a convenience EVEN THOUGH YOU PAY TRASH FEES EACH MONTH. The compactor RARELY does its job entirely, so you find yourself in a WAR OF TETRIS stacking your trash on top of others outside of the compactor. The wifi that they so proudly advertise on the tour in the amenities doesn't work and only works when in their office. Not the gym and most certainly not the pool. Now everything I've mentioned seems manageable, something you may be able to adjust to. But to get to the ACTUAL problem of living here. THE MAINTENANCE TEAM, which, when I say team, I mean strictly ONE PERSON. One person that provides maintenance to the ENTIRE community is untrustworthy, argumentative, filthy, LAZY, and extremely unfit for the position. I've put in several maintenance request, which then, he will come in the apartment and write back "checked, but nothing there". My garbage disposal, a strange odor coming out of my restroom and lastly A LIGHTBULB. Lightbulbs typically work one of two ways, either the do or they don't. My last maintenance request that is leading to the cancellation of my lease has been the most traumatic invasion of my privacy I have ever experienced. It started with me putting in a work order for my "hanging lights". Which in a one bedroom, in my current layout, can only be characterized by the hanging lights "in my kitchen". But since I didn't write "HANGING LIGHTS IN KITCHEN", that gave him the right to walk around my ENTIRE apartment, with dog poop on his shoes. WITHOUT FIXING THE LIGHTBULB CLAIMING THAT IT WORKED and that he was looking for additional hanging lights? I will include pictures if allowed on this website and if not will be uploaded wherever I can upload pictures. Once I spoke with the front office about this, they sent him (their only maintenance) back into my home to argue with me about him missing a LIGHTBULB that was obviously out and the fact that he'd unknowingly tracked dog poop around my house into areas that he didn't belong. He went down the hallway into my restroom and to my closet to find the ONE HANGING LIGHTBULB that was out in my kitchen. Once I took the "Management team" pictures and videos of the incident there was NOTHING THEY COULD DO. Stating that they weren't sure why he was in the areas of the house where he was not permitted. I left in an outrage demanding that they come clean up the dog poop tracked through my home and never allow the maintenance "MAN" in my home again. He has completely violated any trust that he was given and I feel unsafe here. I'm unsure of what he was doing creeping around my home and have been provided ZERO clarity about the situation. The manager PATRICIA said there is nothing she can do about time feeling uncomfortable and unsafe in my home. This has been a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE overall. And now, they have begun ignoring my calls to the office. I can't get in touch with them and unfortunately cannot make it into the office as my work hours are THE EXACT SAME AS THEIRS. Once you become a resident you will notice that your calls are never answered and you feel neglected. This is because they have caller ID and see a name and avoid the call. read more

I cant say enough about how CRAP this place is. Seriously, go live in a cardboard box, it would be nicer and leak just as much when it rains. Our apartment got to where there was mold and mildew from when it rained, because the windows leaked ALL THE TIME and they never fixed it, despite multiple maintenance requests. Whenever there's a maintenance problem, they just ignore it or half ass fix it. As a single mother of two I was destined to give my girls luxury living. They deserved it for putting up with mommy working AND going to school full time. My oldest daughter was very responsible and would take the rent check to the office every month with no problems. Ha! As soon as the new management took over they harassed my daughter asking her what unit she lived in and her name when she came through the office from school. I could understand the first couple of times because they didn't know her but to consistently ask ticked me off. Management could not manage anything if you gave them full instructions. I decided to move out due to the management when it was time to pay the final rent they accused me of being late, but my daughter took the check and they would not accept it. Why? Who knows but they made me pay for it. I believed my baby after all she was paying the rent for me every month... On the day I was to move out we had to go to the office to get Audry so she could do the final walk through all of a sudden apologizing because she was alone. Not my fault because we agreed on a time. Glad I'm gone away from those thin walls. You couldn't even use the restroom in peace because you could hear your neighbors and they could hear you. read more

the retreat is great! the apartments are beautiful and the amenities are top notch. they are also very quick to act on work orders! there is really nothing more you could ask for out of an apartment complex. Courtney in the office is also always super helpful and caring. my roommates and i love it here. read more
