I have a 2008 4Runner. From VA, HI, SoCal and now WA, the paint took a beating. No paint left on the hood and roof. With low mileage, I wanted to get rid of it only if cars were affordable these days. Thanks to Dan at Everett MAACO, with his no nonsense and honest approach, I'm definitely keeping my newly painted truck. He did more than I expected: polished the grill, mud flaps now looking new. He volunteered to replace the headlights and the racks covers, also gave the military discount which I forgot to ask for. Also fixed a big dent on my rear bumper. The paint job is stunning and was done 2 weeks ahead of time. This job was done in June 2023. The experience was a good one. I don't normally post reviews ( although I read them). Went for a collision repair. Front desk justified the quoted price by saying the labor is high because the previous fixes done on the same side of the car was shoddy work. The irony is that the previous fix was done by Maaco itself but in the now closed Seattle location. I told him about this and he just did not seem to care or comment on the Maaco quality. I brought my 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse to Maaco to ask if they could paint the front "bumper cover," actually it's the entire front of the car body which I actually brought with me; stuffed in the back - inside the car. Shane and Dan were very helpful and professional. They looked up the color, matched it with test tabs, and I left the bumper cover with them. Two days later, it was ready. I picked it up on Friday and installed it over the weekend. It was not as easy as it looked. However, I am delighted with the result. A perfect match with my 20 year old original GTX baby. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!!! READ THIS!!!! I had brought my spoiler to get painted here. Very simple job, which I dropped off on a Monday afternoon and was told it would be done Wednesday. I called Wednesday and they said come Thursday. So I thought ok that's fine, no big deal it sucks but ok... I called the following Thursday and they said SATURDAY now.... Saturday came along and I go and they tell me that the clear coat is running all over it and it would need to be fixed in a couple weeks and I could just come back anytime to get it fixed. I thought ok it's no big deal, they were honest about it so I paid anyway. I get home to install the spoiler on my car and I noticed they had broken one of the 4 threads that is on the bottom of my spoiler. I go back to them immediately asking for a refund or even a discount and they gave me a hard NO. They said they will fix the broken part but now I have to come back MONDAY!! I was so pissed but there was nothing I can do, so Monday comes and I go to pick it up and they left glue all over my spoiler. It was ridiculous. Not only that, THE WORST PART IS that I did not notice over there inside the building is that when the sun hits my paint you can clearly see the black primer behind it. They did not use enough paint and it literally looks like they half assed it even though it took them 7 days.... (6 business days to be fair.) The guy I was dealing with is SAM FISH!!!!!! read more

Where do I start. Invoice for one price and charged differently. Was only going to take 1 week and 6 weeks later I picked it up not completed. Finished elsewhere. Charged taxed twice Once on the original invoice and again when I picked it up. We had parts missing from truck. Dented the door and fixed it without telling me. Found out later. Overspray on windows. Had to get them tinted again. Basically you pay fir what you get. I don't recommend this place. read more

I took my car in to have the bumper replaced. I provided the bumper and the shop did great painting it to match. My issue is that my tail light was damaged at some point during the install and no one bothered to tell me or fix the issue. I found the issue when my blinker wasn't working as I was leaving. At my next stop, I discovered the tail light is cracked and none of the lights are functioning. At this point, the shop is already close. I call Saturday morning and no one answered, but it rang to the corporate call center. I left a message and was expecting a call back. Never happened... I call today and the call center hold time was so long I had to leave a voicemail. The last issue I noticed is my dual exhaust is only coming out of one side. That was not the case when I brought the car in, but I know that the exhaust might have had a crack in it, so I'm not blaming it all on maaco, but it would have been nice of them to communicate that to me and me not have to be surprised by it... That's a safety issue! I spent over $600 for a nice bumper replacement and leave having to spend $150+ fixing their F up on my light. The cherry on top is the white powder hand marks and scuffs all over the drivers side interior and inside the trunk where they removed the taillights to install the new bumper. I'm wondering if it's cocaine because all things considered, it seems like whoever worked on my car snorted 10 lines and thought it was a good idea to work on a customer's vehicle. This was a birthday gift and maaco ruined it. I'll never use the Everett maaco ever again. Still waiting on that call back... read more

I took my 1999 Audi A6 Quattro for a paint job (front bumper and hood) due to rock chips at Maaco for an estimate and i later decided to do the job. They had trouble matching my paint. they painted my car up to three times i finally had to go with what i got on cause i didn't have any choice because i had to go to work. my paint start peeling off after eight months and i brought it to there attention but instead they try to blame it on me, they insulted me, threatened to hit me and even discriminated against me and i have everything on tape which i will take to the appropriate authorities. all i wanted from them when i went there was to fix the problem. consumer's desired resolution: i went there to ask them to fix the problem but insults was what i got and they threatened to hit me as well and i have everything on tape. bbb processing read more

I had some minor body work and paint done here and boy was I wrong to pick this place. A few weeks after picking the car up I noticed some areas of the paint work didn't look quite right. I had another shop look at it and they began to list the additional defects I had not yet discovered; overspray on the glass, orange peeled finish, and runs where wet globs of paint had dripped down the body. It is now obvious to me why they are cheaper than other shops; they do shoddy work and apply only the bare minimum amount of paint. I took my car out in the sunshine and could actually see the gold-colored primer through the thin layer of paint they sprayed over it. If you are trying to save money I'd look elsewhere because now I'm going to have to spend even MORE money to repair the damage that this place did to my car. read more

This place was horrible started out looking promising but in the end a number of issues with the service and quality. Brought in my car to get touch up from key marks got it back with overspray all over the place damaged windowsill power window not working. All kinds of paint runs in the work. I also made the mistake of leaving a bottle of very expensive cologne in the car that was taken. In short never going back to any of these shops I strongly encourage anybody looking for body work to not go here. read more

My child got into a small accident which caused damage to the bumper that included paint coming off and scratches. I took the car to Maaco in Everett and was given a quote. I took the car in with the promise that it would be fixed. They had the car for about 4 days. At first glance everything looked great when I picked it up. A few days later, my child noticed that the white scratched started showing through on the bumper. My wife and myself also looked at it immediately. It looked as if the paint had literally been washed off. The scratches were visible and the paint job they did on the car was horrible! It had rained and the paint came off! I took the car back to Maaco the next day, and the manager was very stand offish towards me. I tried speaking with him and asking him to fix it properly. He refused! He even went as far as asking me for money before he would even attempt to fix it. He was not even willing to meet me halfway! I will never take any of my cars back to Maaco in Everett. Terrible customer service, terrible craftsmanship and not even backing up their work! 1 out of 5 stars for that!!!! read more

My new number one choice for quality customer service and paint at a really good price! My wife and I are restoring our 1991 Jeep Wrangler (who we consider to be a part of our family). We are not rich people by any means and we have invested a lot of money over the last year into our Wrangler, so our price point for paint was not the best. We were initially nervous to hand it over to a MACCO, but after talking to Sam our fears turned into excitement. His willingness to go above and beyond to help us surpassed our highest expectations. He saw how exited we were to get our Jeep looking his best and wanted to genuinely help us out. He not only honored a favorable price quote from a former manager, he also knocked down the price for some body work, (deep scratches, welding issues, and a few noticeable fist sized dents) and threw in a couple of paint repairs for free. After a couple of weeks, we got our Jeep back. We were happy to see the body work was done really well, and the paint job made our Jeep look so much better! However, there were some minor flaws with the paint. For instance, a little solvent pop on the hood/grill, a few small runs by the driver side Jeep embossment, and a tiny amount of dirt that dried while the paint was wet on the rear bumper. When I pointed these out to Sam, he gave us no negative attitude or push back, but instead was eager to do right by us. He quickly took out his note pad and took down all the flaws we noted and addressed every issue. I may not fully trust MAACO, but I fully trust Sam as he is a well-seasoned professional way above his years. Thank you Sam for helping us breathe life back into our Wrangler. I am sure we will enjoy it for many more decades! read more

I chose Maaco because they would be affordable and that was what I got. However, they told me that it would be two days and even though I called them regularly throughout the process I got no communication from them and no updates from them telling me that that deadline would change. My bumper job went from 2-7 days and when I questioned them regarding their ever-changing dates they got belligerent and hostile. I would tell people to never go there. read more

My car looks AMAZING! I was nervous about changing the color but everything looks awesome. They took out all the door dings which weren't in my initial qoute. And they replaced my tint ($90) because it was scratched from when they were cleaning the interior. The only thing that could have been better was if they had kept my windows up. I have a 14 year old Hyundai with low millage and in great running condition. The paint not so much, and with numerous tiny door dings from parking. My gas door was damaged from thieves and minor scratches on the rear bumper. Sam preformed magic and my car was restored to its original beauty. Shortly after while having my windows tinted my new paint recieved a deep scratch and I returned to Sam and was immediately scheduled to take care of it and restored to it's new beauty. Randy at the Everett location is a good man that takes care of his customers. I took my 1978 Datsun 280Z in to get it painted in a different color. He helped me decide on a beautiful Daytona Blue and I handed over my key the next week. I was anxious to get it back ASAP, but I waited patiently. Randy told me some unfortunate news about the old primer that was on my Datsun which didn't allow the new paint to stick. He reassured me that he would make it right though. After a couple of attempts and updates, Randy told me the good news that it was ready to be picked up. My jaw dropped when I saw my baby, she was drop dead gorgeous! Randy would not let me pick up my car until it was car show ready. He didn't charge me for the extra work or upgrades that he did to make her look brand new. Talked to the owner and a young estimator and was all good, got a reasonable estimate. Went back to get another estimate to do my 2nd car, then there's this estimator named Randy, quoting me way over priced compared to any other maaco or other collision shops, considering I'm bringing 2 cars. I told him he should match or try to beat the other shops since I'm local and I can give more a lot more recommendations to friends, Instead, he questioned the owners initial approval estimate on my 1st car and wanted to see it 1st since he doesn't believe the owner. Also he said that the other guy who gave me an estimate must go through him 1st. He even said he runs the whole show over there. I can tell this guy just wants businesses from insurance or people who don't have any knowledge so he can hustle em good. It's either his over priced estimate (for a maaco) or get out and f'k off kind of service. Don't go there, talked to every other maaco around and they were courteous, negotiable and professional, this guy is trying to run a monkey business. read more

By far the worst service job i have ever gotten on a car, what was supposed to be a 5 days dent repair an repaint turned into me not having my car for OVER a MONTH! They messed up the paint job TWICE and ended up painting my car a whole new color, i had broken parts on my vehicle when i got it back, paint sag, parts that arent even painted correctly, had brand new headlight assembly that they made look like garbage, forgot to put my emblems on, car smelled like crap when i got it, have had to take it back twice since ive gotten it back after noticing more problems they did to it, and to top it alllll off, my brand new bumper i gave to them to have mounted and painted, they cracked, and tried holding it together with WOOD SCREWS! My car was at a repair shop and when I picked it up, there was damage. I couldn't tell who was more upset, me or the owner of the shop. After getting the insurance claim, I drove home and saw Maaco. I drove in and asked when I could schedule to have an estimate done. To my surprise, they looked at it right then and there, and - are you ready for this, repaired my damage on the spot! Certainly, it was just some professional buffing that needed to be done, but it didn't look like that to me initially! It took less than 20 minutes and I was on my way back to the repair shop to tell them no need to make a claim. This was amazing customer service, unsurpassed quality and care, and just an amazing experience.
