I went to these guys back in September they paint a bunch of parts for me and one of the parts started to peel. I went back to see if they could fix and he said he couldn't because it isn't an oem part . I don't even think they primed my parts . Apparently I have to pay another $300 to fix it . Loved everything about the process working with Frank at MAACO! Took a 2004 Ram 3500 to him in need of body work and paint - both rear fenders had heavy damage when I bought it and were held on with duct tape! The results speak for themselves. I opted for the best paint job and I am extremely happy with the job he and his team did! The price didn't change, even when he encountered a problem with the fender hardware. Told me not to worry and his team would figure it out. No up charge for the extra effort. This is the second time I have used his shop, first time was for my wife's company car that had a fender bender. We have been happy 2 out of 2 with the quality and professionalism. If I could give less than zero stars that's what I would rate this location. Took it back within a month of paint peeling, photos show how bad it was. Location refused to honor their extra warranty without spending more money with them and even tried to UPSELL that crap. The owner tried to say it was the Florida sun. Until I told him I've lived here my whole life and never had paint peel like this, even an after market paint job. Overall the WORST paint job I've ever seen on a car that wasn't applied out of a hardware store paint can in someone's backyard. Crap paint job and horrible customer service. I wouldn't let them paint my kid's bicycle for half price. read more

One of our cars is a '96 Ford Explorer...the American classic. I love it for hauling our various boats in and out of ramps around our county, and in 4WD... on our causeways. But the car was showing its age. This spring we took it to Maaco in Cocoa after our mechanic said the car was still doing well and had another 5 years at least. We waited for the 'sale of the moment' to upgrade to their top-of-the-line promotion (which they seem to have often) and had our car painted. We did their high-end paint for about $350 and added about $250 in basic body work that the car needed for various nicks and dents over the years. When all was said and done we shelled out around $600 and change, The car looks great...almost new. The engine is fine (thanks to Beach Auto). In 10 years we'll have an antique! We live 200 feet from the beach, so I'll doubt that will happen, but these folks keep my 'Beach/Boat' mobile running. read more

Wow! I just gave this place a 5 star 7 days ago and now I am changing it to a 1 star. When we got it back they sprayed it down but the more we looked at it the worst it was. We brushed it off only because it's was "only" $500. W'll my fiancé is working on his car and took some parts off and they sprayed his radiator!!! This is crazy! We were also told they would sand it down to bare metal but they clearly didn't because there is bumps in the paint on the hood, door, wing, and roof. It was included in the price and was told they were going to sand it down to bare metal! There is also drips in the paint too. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!! I usually give people the benefit of the doubt but honestly, please trust me... save your money!!! read more

Visited this place many years ago and had the worst experience. Still remember it to this day. The owner was rude and condescending. I was a teenager and he seemed to want to take advantage of me. They were suppose to repair the front end of my car, after a collision, inside and out. Instead they just repaired the exterior of my car. My car overheated and that is how I found out that they did not repair my whole car. I've heard nothing but terrible things from anyone who has ever dealt with this establishment. read more

I do not recommend at all they will rip you off. Paint job was awful and had to return three times to fix. Then they flat out lied to me and said they would fix the defected paint for free but ended up charging me over $200.00. The hood was the only part painted on my vehicle and in the end cost me just under $700.00 to fix. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES TO THE COCOA Maaco shop UNLESS you want the WORST customer service from the manager, "Vinny!" Drive to Melbourne and see Chris. I postponed having my Elantra painted after going to the Maaco's in Cocoa on three different occasions and getting estimates from $900-1200 for the work. I didn't like the customer service and didn't feel confident of the results I would get from the Cocoa store. So, I took it to Chris at Maaco's in Melbourne and got an excellent paint job and a great warranty for less than I was quoted from the Cocoa location. Chris is caring, gives you an honest, just and fair price and stands behind their work. He delivers Excellent Customer Service. A few months later my spouse accidentally backed her car out of our garage right into the Elantra's front fender. We took her car to Chris to have the right rear fender fixed. They did an outstanding job, mixed the paint perfectly and you couldn't even tell it had ever been repaired! Chris gave us a quote for the Elantra and we said we would get it fixed later. I was too weak from having major surgery recently so she took the car to the Cocoa Maaco's for us to get an estimate. The price was very close to the price that Chris in the Melbourne's Maaco's quoted us so we decided to let them do the work thinking we would get the same results. WERE WE SO-O-O-O-O WRONG!!!!! If you don't mind being Demeaned, Devalued, and given Terrible, Rude and Condescending customer service then go see Vinny in Cocoa. He is the Best at being the Worst and maintains a "I Could NOT Care Less Attitude!" Vinny quoted us around $400 to fix the left front fender which was around the same price that Chris had quoted us. When we went to pick up the car I noticed the spacing between the repaired left fender and the hood was still wider than the spacing between the right fender and hood. Also, the front edge of the fender was still overlapping the headlight cover. When I entered the store Vinny was the first person I made eye contact with. He just looked at me and didn't greet me. The lady standing in front of him said hello to me. I replied then looked around the room for someone else to help me. I looked to my right where another employee was. He immediately got up and looked at me as if he would be the one to help me. I asked him to go to my car with me. I introduced myself to him then asked what his name was. He said, "Chris." I first complimented the fender paint job and the ding was gone. Afterwards I pointed out my concerns with the alignment of the fender. When I was almost done the first person I had made eye contact with that didn't greet me as I entered came out and immediately started talking in a defensive, condescending and escalated tone. My attention and conversation now was focused on him. I first addressed his mannerism toward me and the car. I said, "You don't have to raise your voice!" Is this how you want our conversation to go? My defusing tactic was not working on him. Obviously this is How is manages the customers there. I started over pointing out how the bumper was not lined up properly. Vinny became very defensive and as he spoke his voice continually became sharper and louder as he belittled me for not being grateful that they even agreed to work on my car! In my opinion his attitude and demeanor was defensive, non-empathetic while he maintained his stance of "What do you expect for that amount of money?" His attitude was like he did me a favor of knocking out a center bump and spot painting the front fender for JUST UNDER FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS! (Little did he know that I had already received an estimate from Chris in the Melbourne Maaco's for around the same price which would have been done perfectly. What really shocked me was when Vinny said, "If you wanted a perfect job then you should have paid for a new fender! I had had ENOUGH at this point! I was doing all I could to not lose my temper with him. I replied, "So what you are telling me is that unless I pay for a new fender the job you do won't be perfect? The fender won't be lined up properly and will overlap the headlight?" As he abruptly walked away I said, "Who is the Manger here? Unfortunately it is him. Chris did his best to correct the spacing while we were there. From my experience If you want to pay hundreds of dollars for collision and paint work and don't care about the results then go see Vinny on Clearlake Rd. in Cocoa. In my opinion and by the way he treated me His attitude is that he is doing YOU a favor by working on your car and you should accept whatever results you get! He'll interact with you in a rude, demeaning and condescending way. He is the Worst of the Worst! Quite the Opposite: The Manager at the Melbourne's location is Chris. He is caring, gives you an honest, just and fair price and stands behind their work. He delivers Excellent Customer Service. read more

Went to Maaco in Cocoa yesterday to get a quote and schedule my classic '69 Buick GS350 for repainting. After the price quote ($1700) and settling on a color I was told the owner would not paint my car. Too many unknowns....he didn't want to touch it. I left very disappointed. read more

DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I won't repeat what Marla said because my experience is the same. I have taken cars here before with no problem, except for bad customer service, but last week we had that and a bad repair job. After they had the car twice for 1.5 weeks each time and things still aren't fixed; we will never go here again. read more
