Brought my car in today for an estimate on repairing and painting the rear side panel and door of my Nissan Murano. I misjudged the entrance into my garage and scraped the side of the car. Alex Alexander, the General Manager, looked at it and said it appeared to be just surface paint on the car, not an actual scrape. He used a "magic" cleaner that totally took off the entire "scrape". He was very helpful in clearing up my mess. He could have given me a huge quote for a re-paint of the area, but instead was very honest and professional. Poor communication on the status of vehicles. Poor quality of work. Poor attention to detail. What they promise to do on the quote is not what they actually do. They try to get you to just grab your car and go without checking the work they did. They charge obscene amounts of money to do crappy work. read more

My dad passed away in July 2020 and left my son his 2002 Dodge Ram. Brought my daughter's car in to have the front bumper repainted. After 4 days we picked up the car and the bumper looked good. As we started away, the check engine light was on and the outside temperature registered -40 degrees. Air conditioner would not work and the front hood was indicated as open when it was fully shut and locked. Returned to the shop and Alex, the manager, said that those problems must have been present when I dropped the car off. He said sorry but it was not his problem. I can assure you that if the air conditioner and other problems were present, the bumper would have been low on my list of priorities. A simple computer diagnostic check shows that the ambient temperature sensor is unhooked. My advice is to avoid this place like the plague as they are incompetent. Shame on me for signing and paying for this before they brought it around and we discovered the problem. read more

Just got my truck back and am so pleased with the job that was done. Todd even came in on Saturday so I could pick it up as well. Looked closely at the work and really could not find anything that I was not happy with. Todd made sure to let me know I had a 4 year warranty and if I noticed something just bring it back, he also made sure I new not to take it through a car wash for 30 days. When I first went in I was looking for a cheap paint job and they never tried to up sale me, but I did decide on my own to go one step above what they recommended and am glad I did. So now my 1999 F-150 looks as good as a new one. I will recommend them to anyone looking for a quality paint job at a fair price. read more

These guys did great. You get what you pay for here. You cannot bring a car with damage, and expect them to fix the body damage if you do not want to pay extra for that; if you only pay for spray, then spray is what you will get. You can even prep your car and bring it to then primered. read more

I had given very simple instructions to Todd the local rep. And he ignored or simply was so distracted that it was bordering on incompetence.The shop did nothing that I requested and Todd actually got upset with me even after he realized that he and Maaco failed to perform the task at hand.I paid for your most expensive paint job and thought I would get at least a decent job.WRONG! I have the old color showing in several areas and new paint on areas where they have no right being.And several other issues as well. I actually left the shop with touch-up paint so I might be able to fix my new paint job! Why I can't recommend this place: Overspray on underbody, tires, suspension components and windows. Badges not put back on in the correct places even after they took before pictures. Drip marks on front bumper. Rear view camera no longer works. Panels on my rear hatch were not put back on correctly. Also a week long job turned into two with zero notice or follow through. After a week I called to see what was going on. "Um yeah, it's gonna get painted today." A week later I had to call them back to see what was up and finally was told that my truck was ready. read more

At first I had some issues with my car taking a while to be painted and there was some lack of communication at first, but after everything was solved I can say I am a happy customer. It is not a 10,000 dollar paint job but, they did great matching the color and fixing all the rust problems I had. I am being generous with one star! It took three trips to get vehicle back and it still wasn't right. If POOR quality and lots of excuses in exchange for low price are what you need; this is your body shop! They make the old saying that you get what you pay for take on a whole new meaning. There is a complete lack of pride and leadership. After two trips to pick up my vehicle ended in disappointment, I expected everything to be close to perfect the third time around. I couldn't have been more wrong! There were pieces of molding hanging loose, and the runs and body imperfections were still very obvious. I guess you get what you pay for! I did not expect a $7000.00 paint job for my son's Jeep. But I did expect them to do what they said. My wife picked up the jeep when it was done and did not look it over. There is paint on the wind shield, passenger door window. I was told they were going to sand the hood, remove the luggage rack before painting and looking at it you can clearly see that that did not happen. The front and rear bumpers have BLACK end caps, they painted the front ones and left the back ones black. They were not supposed to even paint them to start with. I wish I would have went else where and saved that $1000.00 for a better paint job!! read more

My Chrysler 300 is a great car but the top coat started coming off after 10-years; it was not the prettiest thing to be driving around. I checked in Wilmington for a good paint job; the offers I received ranged from $1000 to $5000 - all were verbal offers with no concrete details. Giving them 1 star was generous. I was visiting family in Carolina Beach and someone backed into my car, so I brought my car to Maaco to be fixed. The job wasn't done properly and when asked to fix what I asked from the beginning they said it would take a couple more days to buff out the mistakes they already made. They were extremely rude. Meanwhile, I was told it would take 48 hours to complete the job and it was done in 24 hours. So, if they had taken the time to complete the work in the 48 hours that was originally planned it may have been done correctly. They rushed through the job done on my car and wouldn't even discount the price I paid. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would suggest you take your vehicle to another place if you want it done correctly. read more

well i originally took my car into the shop to have JUST the front bumper painted and was told i would have it back in two days well a week later i got it back only to see that well i waited for a half way job to be done on my car and over spray all over including my hood fenders rims and mirrors. so they had some guy buff my hood!! and being im color blind i couldnt see the swirl marks that were left from where they did a half way job on that! And might i add i told them when i dropped it off the rims are brand new!!!! IN THE END they said its not their fault and why did i leave with the car if i saw all these things wrong with it? and if thats the case they would have known the day i picked it up but sadly they were closed and it was a saturday and they left the keys in the car in the parking lot... so how would i have told them it looked like crap? ive been back several times with this issue and they told me thinking i was stupid that the sand paper feeling on my car was not over spray and he had the point to say that thats where most of the sun hits the car... ummm really my car is garage kept!!!!! and i looked better before i even dropped the first time i should have just left my car the way it was!!! the correct color!!!! read more
