I recently brought my JL Wrangler to this body shop for repair work, and to be fair, the exterior bodywork itself was done very well. The paint and body repairs look excellent, and from the outside the vehicle looks great. Unfortunately, the condition of my vehicle when it was returned was extremely disappointing. The entire interior was covered in sanding dust from the body shop. Dust was on the seats, dashboard, vents, and throughout the cabin, and the inside of the vehicle still smells like a body shop. My Jeep was brought in clean and well cared for, but it was returned in a condition that felt careless and unacceptable. My biggest concern is that this fine dust has been circulating through the vehicle, raising concerns about what I am now breathing in while driving. When I brought this to their attention, the response I received was simply that they would "wipe it down" because they do not have a detailing department. For a vehicle returned in this condition, that response did not feel adequate. Quality bodywork is important, but so is respecting a customer's vehicle. Based on my experience, anyone using this shop for body repairs should strongly consider negotiating enough off the final bill to have the vehicle professionally detailed afterward, because the cleanup standard here fell far below what should be expected. read more

Christmas of 2021 we were in Wilmington, NC for The holidays and my daughters car needed collision repair. Others in the DC area had tried to fix her car but had done so inappropriately- twice. The manager of Hendricks Collision is such a considerate and honorable man we will forever be thankful per how he helped us and took care of our family. This place is not an honest place to have you car repair.I got into an accident and geico told me that this place was there authorize shop in Wilmington to take it over and have them give me an estimate I also uploaded the pic to geico. The claim adjuster look at the pic online and said it was only $54 dollars worth off repair, so I said I disagree with that estimate, so I took the car to Jeff Gordon collisions to get an estimate the guy came out look at my car took pics took my registration and went back in side he came out told me the damages will cost around $2300 for repair, so I said I send it the insurance company when the insurance company call them to verify the damages he wrote the estimate Steve was his name he told the insurance company he remembered me, but he can't remember if he took pic when I was a standard in front of him talking to him while he was taking pic. This was only two days ago. so this place write very high estimate to customers who walk in. why do business with a place like this these are scam artist.They can't verify a estimate they wrote .This place is not a trustworthy place.to do business with. Its been over a month since my 2015 Dodge Charger was towed here after being rear ended by a drunk driver. My vehicle was dropped off there on August 3rd, today is September 4th and no work has been done to my car yet. After it had been there a full week I called and asked what the extent of the damage truly was and they told me they had not even looked at it yet. The following week I called again and got the same response. The third week came to an end and I called again and was told they had ordered all the parts and that the date of completion was set for August 29th, and that they would call me when it was done. The 29th went by and I heard nothing by mid afternoon so I called and was told they were going to try to get to it before the end of the week but with it being the end of the month they were getting all the smaller projects out of the way before tackling any of the large ones. So basically they said they value meeting their shop productivity quota more than their customers. That week went by and we hit the one month mark since they took possession of my vehicle, and I called again and this time expressed how unhappy I was with the lack of service I was being provided. I also told them they have had the parts to repair my vehicle for two weeks and asked why nothing had been done yet. The response I got was "I'm sorry bud, I get what you're saying and I understand. We're going to try to get to it by the end of this week". I asked him why it was going to take 5 weeks, 3 weeks after the parts came in, to replace a bumper, a quarter panel, a tail light and straighten the trunk back and got the response again of "I'm sorry bud, I know this must be frustrating, but it's not up to me". I then asked him who its up to because I was told he was the project manager and he gave me the name and number of the manager of the shop, who has not answered his phone. I am tired of the excuses and the lack of explanations for nothing being accomplished in over a month's time. The insurance company handling my claim (the at fault party's insurance) is also wondering why it has taken this long and still not the first bit of progress. This is supposed to be a reputable collision center....this is unacceptable. I will be advising everyone not to do business with Hendrick in the future in any capacity. read more

I cannot even give one star. I tried to get my bumper repaired/replaced and the body shop manager was always too busy for me and never returned even one phone call. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Brought my car in with some sores on it. Nicole is the first person you meet at the window and you think the nicest...but then you get to meet other just as nice and polite Jeff Gordon employees. Kevin was the contact between me and body shop and he was informed and eager to please. Experience could not have been, well , except maybe for the Enterprise Car Rental, which was undermanned and overly busy. Hint: We asked to use a nearby Hertz and once again the ladies at the windows had a Hertz car for us in 5 minutes.
