We had the penthouse apartment so we had the hole top floor to ourselves. This place is not for people who stay at 5 star resorts and want to be served 24/7. We did some grocery shopping and ate many of our meals in. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils and dishes/pans. We made great use of the ocean-side BBQs. The unit has ceiling fans and air conditioning (which we didn't use). It also has an HDTV, blu-ray player, Wi-Fi, and a printer for your boarding passes. The in-unit washer and dryer and dish washer are incredibly convenient. The underground reserved parking space also rocked. I was concerned about wind when we booked the condo. I was pleasantly surprised to find the lanai is well sheltered. Even when walking on the golf-green lawn, the wind was never more than a comforting cool breeze. We watched turtles, whales, and spear fishermen from the lanai every day. A short walk to the west you will find shops and restaurants and even a little store. If you walk east to the end of the road, you will be on a beautiful beach that extends for miles. We walked for an hour one morning and could have easily walked for two or more. The location is very central. You can conveniently drive to Lahaina for shopping, restaurants, and the night life. Kihei has great family beaches and more shopping and restaurants. The owner was very professional to work with. We would definitely stay here again.

We barely needed our car since everything is within walking distance. I'd say we only needed our car to go joy riding, to go to a Luau and to go back to the airport. We went everywhere by foot and we were so blessed that the beach and park is just across the street. Our condo even had beach chairs, a big beach umbrella and cooler available for us. If we needed the pool there were the two pool noodles that I would definitely have used ((smile)). They think of everything as they even had sunscreen lotion, which I should have used! One small word of advice, don't forget to register your vehicle and do not park in the spots labeled "Owner" Mahalo Maui!!! You've spoiled this Cali gal forever!!!!

The board and staff have had to deal with much since the fires. Homeless, insurance rates, etc. if one looks around, Kihei Villages is in a better position than many other similar complexes. In addition J104 is a total cat hoarder cats climb in and out of her window all day and MANAGMENT wants to coddle her and bow to her needs and help her in committing FRAUD by saying these Feral cats are ESA animals when they are not. Save your money the HOA board here is so unprofessional and un-accommodating. But security is very helpful!

We shopped for over 9 months to find a unit that met our criteria! This one hit all the checkboxes such as a quiet complex, close proximity to the beach, on-site security and management, and a pool! The units are quite spacious and each one has two bathrooms! We ended up purchasing a 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom unit, and we fell in love with the layout, natural light, and complex. The neighbors are all incredibly friendly too! While we were doing some renovations, we frequently had neighbors lend us tools or even offer to help! There are lots of young families and it feels very safe! We're a young couple who will be long-term renting our unit for a little while until we get our lives back home ready for a move to the island to be with extended family who live in Kihei. We can't wait! We are also quite impressed by the HOA management thus far! It's a new board with new management. Special shoutout to Kate for all of her wonderful work as the on-site manager! Thank you for all that you do! It's clear that this complex has made a real effort to invest in the buildings, landscaping, and community. They also no longer allow short-term rentals which makes it extra quiet! All of the old reviews from 2010-2018 really don't do the complex justice. It's dramatically different from what it was a long time ago! The new security guards are great! Shout out to Richard. He is friendly and takes real care in making sure people feel safe.
