I almost don't want to brag on this wonderful property Maui Kamaole unit G110 & keep it my little secret! From the very first inquiry our host Brete has been wonderful. This was our first trip to Maui, and honeymoon, and I had SO many questions. Brete was patient and such a great resource. You can really feel the aloha and pride they have for Maui. Not only was he helpful in our Airbnb chats, but he had one of the most thorough guidebooks at the condo. And a lovely touch, we had a handwritten welcome note and a few Maui treats to start our stay! Now on to the condo, G110 in the Ginger cluster (so cute) this is such a beautifully appointed home with the most wonderful patio (lanai) view! I am not a morning person, but I was up by 6:30 with my coffee on the lanai enjoying the sounds of the island waking up. The patio alone is reason to book this condo! All sorts of birds and of course, the famous Maui chickens, walk the lawn. One morning I saw a cute little mongoose of some sort! That was definitely not on my bingo card, but a magical moment. Also, the property is immaculate in its care...beautiful landscaping and I loved the Christmas decor. We had our own parking spot super close to the unit too. There is something so special about traveling to an island during Christmas time...we ended each night cuddled on the comfy couch watching holiday shows. Speaking of comfy, even though I don't prefer a soft bed, I slept like a baby in the master bedroom. I really appreciated having 2 bathrooms, to get ready faster for our adventures! There's even a 2nd lanai right off the bedroom, beautiful light in the mornings. Brete is thoughtful to offer beach chairs and fun equipment for the beach, saving us more money for Mai Tais! I love to cook at home, but I took the honeymoon off...I did look into the kitchen, and not only do they have a lovely new stove, but they also had everything you could possibly need if you wanted to whip up meals. We only used the stove to reheat leftover kalua pork & pineapple pizza from South Shore Tiki Lounge. Please don't judge, it's fantastic with jalapenos! We ADORED our stay in Kihei, it's such a great middle point between Lahaina and Wailea. So many wonderful beaches close by, Kamaole 1, 2, and 3, as well as Keawakapu. Parking was a breeze at all of these beaches and if you love snorkeling, you must add Ahihi-Kinau Natural Area Reserve to your list, 25 minutes south! My list of faves from our time in Kihei: Water: We rented paddle boards from Aunty Snorkel, great service and integrity. Ask for Mark or Jake! They checked conditions before completing our transaction, there's no refunds for weather or wind conditions. Ultimate Whale Watch & Snorkel-the highlight of our trip, based in Lahaina. Try and reserve a tour with Captain Jill and Casey. I am an avid snorkeler and have been on countless excursions. These two ladies were so knowledgeable, and you could feel their "malama kai" care for the ocean. Two snorkel stops & we were fortunate to see whales, even though it was super early in the season November 28th!!! Breaching, blow spouts and three whale tails, great show. I can only imagine how it is in the swing of the whale season. Food: Nalu's South Shore Grill had the best island pancakes, and my hubs raved about their fried mahi fish and chips (the chips were tempura green beans, yum) Three's Bar & Grill had the best Happy Hour, top-shelf Mai Tais for $9 and an extensive HH food selection. Ask for Paul's section or sit at the bar with Chris...yes we went twice! FYI, there is a Maui HH app you can download and search by city! Ululani's Shave Ice-get the Roselani's ice cream in the middle and the milk topper, you won't regret it! South Shore Tiki Lounge is in the perfect spot, right next to Kihei food truck's (must get the chicken katsu curry at Happy Belly) and shopping at Kihei Kalama Village. My tip, sit in Janey's section & have a few HH drinks and listen to live music here! Great way to unwind after a day of water activities. Kahale's Bar- I love a dive bar and Kahale's fit the bill! Local live music by Kenny K. Roberts and bartenders Dylan, Jeff, and "Stiffy" were an entertaining cast of characters! This condo is also really close to a Foodland (a Maui supermarket institution that is not to be missed!) The salt & vinegar chicken wings are to die for, and they have a fantastic deli, lots of great poke & local treats. Finally, we cannot recommend more, the talented artist Kiko Yamada, Ninjasketch! I had been following her for over a year, we had our honeymoon caricature done at Kalama Village. It was such a pleasure to meet her and hear her story. 1. Sitting in the covered balcony sipping that Mai Tai, watching the sunset over the ocean in your 1052 sq foot luxury condo, surrounded by acres of landscaped tropical gardens. 2. For a third consecutive year we got a livingsocial deal on a luxury condo in Maui, 6 nights for $903 for an oceanview condo at Maui Kamaole. Same condo without the ocean view was $720. Fine print shows additional $153 in mandatory 'vacation protection' and 'cleaning fees', before 15% Hawaii hotel tax. Previously we stayed at Wailea Elua Village and Wailea Ekahi Village. 3. Maui Kamaole is an owner occupied condominum complex of ~130 units, in 13 buildings on ~40 acres of immaculately landscaped hillside, overlooking the ocean. Not all condos will be similarly equipped. 4. We got unit A215, a second story unit, among the closest units to very busy South Kihei road, entrance with a numeric coded lock. 5. Parking is free and by assigned spot, typically next to the condo entrance. Hotels in next door Wailea charge $40 per day valet parking, with the valets expecting to be tipped. 6. Entrance and bedrooms face the parking lot, and living room and balcony face the ocean. 16 stairs to the second floor unit, and another 16 stairs to the top floor with the master bedroom. So, if you don't like stairs, this unit is not for you! This is a end unit with no neighbors on one side. However there are no windows on the sides of the unit, not even next to the front door entrance. So the rooms are on the dark side. The 1 bedroom, 1 bath downstairs unit has a small window on the side, and besides the main patio facing the ocean, it has a patio enclosed by three 7' tall walls facing the parking lot. 7. The living room and the two bedrooms each have their own powerful but noisy AC units, cable TVs, ovehead ceiling fans, and balconies. The ocean is visible from not only from the living room, but also the kitchen. The living room balcony is equipped with a patio table and 4 chairs, but no roof for protection from the sun or rain. The living room has mismatched furniture, and the pull out sofa bed springs sagged in the middle. This was not a problem for us, as nobody sat in the middle of the sofa, only on the sides. 8. Strong wifi, capable of watching videos. Cable TV, but the second bedroom had a CRT TV, that probably came with the condo when it was built a quarter century ago! 9. Downstairs bedroom had two single beds, adjacent to the main bathroom with a bathtub/shower combination. For me my cold water showers dribbled out with half the water going out the bathtub tap. The wife didn't have that problem with her hot showers. You provide your own shampoo. Wife found the sheets on the master bedroom to be uncomfortable and not of the best quality. 10. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishware , silverware and cooking utensils, along with toaster, microwave, range oven, 4 electric burners, full size but dated refrigerator -no automatic ice maker. 11. My wife watches late night shows on the big flat screen TV in the living room. The noise carries to the open loft area of the master bedroom with its queen bed, relegating me, an early sleeper, to the second bedroom. My wife can't sleep in a single bed -you need pillows on the floor to cushion the fall! 12. Electronic safe large enough to hold a laptop. Dishwasher turned on with 6 days of dirty dishes when we left, with detergent provided. 4 loads of clothes washed on our last day-mainly extra provided beach towels- for the tiny closet washer/dryer -with provided laundry detergent. No housekeeping during our 6 nights here -so unless your mom is here, you have to clean up your own mess! 13. No noise from the neighbors, but these are mainly retired seniors, not your typical Yelpers with late night partying! 14. Outside garbage bin and recycling bins for each building. 15. BBQs in a communal patio next to each couple of buildings. 2 pools, a hot tub, and 2 tennis courts -new nets but they look like they haven't been resurfaced since the complex was built in the late 1980s! Tennis rackets in the closet -similar to the type you buy from Big 5 Sporting Goods for beginners. 16. Usual rules apply: no hanging towels to dry from the balconies, no kids toys in the pool, no playing soccer or frisbee on the vast lawns, no loud music between 10pm and 8am. 17. Lighted concrete paths between the parking lots and each building. 18. We walked 11 minutes 3 times to snorkeling at Kamaole III beach, walked 18 minutes every night to the restaurants at Kamaole shopping center, and once walked 38 minutes to Kihei Foodland, the nearest supermarket. Sidewalks and condo complexes extend a mile in each direction along South Kihei Rd. 19. Add 9 minutes to those times if you get stuck at the top of the hill in the M or F buildings! 20. No more being cooped up for a week on vacation, fighting with the wife for elbow room in your typical 220 square foot hotel room! read more

C108 no refrigerator, AC broken, no warning, no corrections, no compensations, not kid friendly, don't recommend this unit....... although the facility is nice for boring couples/ financially poor but high class elderly..... if this is you, come and stay they'd appreciate your easy money.... I feel sorry for the homeowner of this unit, it's unacceptable!!!! And poorly managed, shouldn't have even been on the rental market!!! The facility Vacasa guy Keoki said he was gonna take care of the bedroom AC but never came. It was a sweat box. Overall, the community seems well-maintained and landscaped. The pool is in great shape and seems recently re-done. We've had quiet neighbors the whole stay, but the pool was a bit crowded each day - the hot tub was so packed it was pretty much unusable... unless you're a fan of being packed in with kids. It looks like they have a snack bar, but it hasn't been open while we've been here. Really accessible from the main drag, walkable to beaches, and good views of the water from certain units. read more

We stayed in room c109. Room was very spacious and had every possible cooking/baking gaget as well as stocked on many extras you wouldn't think you would need on vacation like bug spray. The lanai area was relaxing and room is just steps away from the pool. Owners provided pool noodles and chairs in a storage unit outside. And closet is stocked with many extra bedding, towels and accessories. The only down FALLS were the unit had sugar ants. Breakfest was made and while waiting for my husband to come out and eat ants were already coming out. We had left a pan fully cover on the counter and ants still managed to find its way inside. I also don't believe it was just this unit it was also a issue in my cousins unit B202 since we were here on a family vacation. It could possibly be a problem within the buildings. Pillows were flat and hard (they did have extras in the closet but all weren't fluffy and welcoming) my husband ended up going out to purchase us new ones. From the moment we got in the full fridge wasn't working maintenance brought in a mini fridge to accommodate us which wasn't big enough at all to cover all our food needs for the weekend. I tried to do a little baking since the kitchen was fully stocked only to find out the mixer was completely broken after I had purchase all the needed ingredients. The air conditioner in the master bedroom had us sweating 2 nights in a row. It made a loud noise and wasn't blowing any air for a good hour then weirdly would kick back on. We also got noise complaints left and right at the pool all because our kids were being kids laughing and playing as if kids would. If you have kids that love to swim at the pool you might just want to take them somewhere else. It was only 11am and the security came and told us to keep it down meanwhile they have signs posted "quite time" is from 6pm-9pm. The list of rules is beyond normal for any pool we have ever been to. Hoping that with all these little changes the owner could defiently have a over all amazing spot. Location was perfect, landscaping and overall cleanliness was inviting and truly gives you the feel of being on vacation but still having the luxury of your own home supplies avaliable. read more

Cons: Dark decor with heavy red curtains and shag carpet, strange outdated furnishings/artwork/etc. Poor wifi, temperamental smoke alarm, ants in the kitchen, clothes dryer makes a terrible sound as it speeds up, upstairs bathroom sink doesn't drain well. Two rods for shower curtains- one standard and one decorative that doesn't slide open/closed easily. Little privacy for upstairs suite as it overlooks the living room with only flimsy wooden shutters for blocking light and sound. read more

The condo was clean, the complex is relatively quiet (except for the annoying road noise on our lanai), it was near the beach, and a very functional home base for a lovely vacation to Maui. I'm reviewing it only because some of the reviews I'd read elsewhere led me to believe that this was a particularly luxurious, amazing, beautiful condo complex. I didn't get that at all. We stayed here largely because it was available on short notice, and I'm grateful that it was functional and wasn't a scam, but I wouldn't go out of your way rejecting other good places to stay here. Oh, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable -- so uncomfortable that we were almost relieved to get home and get a good night's sleep. read more

This was one of the 3 places we stayed in for our 3-week honeymoon to Maui. It was so memorable!! The condo we rented here (#B101 - VRBO Listing 756724) from Garry / Carmen (gjames007is@gmail.com) exceeded our expectations. The units are individually owned so you will get a mix of decor and style. Unit B101 has been newly renovated - it's evident that a lot of time and care was put into all the beautiful details from the furniture to the art. It's modern with a bit of Hawaiian feel to it. The unit is on the ground floor so it was great to have a patio and grassy area to walk out to and enjoy our morning coffee and breakfasts. It's located minutes away from Kamaole Beach III just across the street, and Fred's Mexican Restaurant and Moose McGillicuddy's is just a 10 minute walk. It's always a good idea to have a car rental to get around adventuring though! (Kihei Rent-A-Car was by far the cheapest in all of my research). This very clean, cozy condo was also well-equipped with body boards, beach umbrellas and chairs, cooler, towels, washer & dryer, etc. There's a well-maintained pool not far from the unit and another a few minutes away. The rates are very reasonable compared to all those condos out there. Many others are more costly and no where near as nice or updated as this one. Garry and Carmen were great to deal with - very prompt and thorough with communications and all details about the stay. We absolutely loved our stay here and highly recommend it to others! We have had a great experience using maui kamaole. The pools are excellent and well maintained. The staff and security has been nice. Of course each property is maintained by the owners so that can vary. Ours was slight dated and could use some appliance updates at the very least. Great location wonderful stuff. For 2 to 3 people it's great to have one bedroom units that is located on the ground floor it has 2 bathrooms and the living room have sofa bed. The best units are located at the front view ocean. All defense on every unit it's own by the separate people and separate units are different quality may be various some of them nice some are very old. Most of the unis look with ocean view have ceramic tiles on the floors in the beautiful kitchen. The condominium that are located on the back of their complex are old and sometimes have the carpet in sight which is not fair pleasant For 4-5 people it's better to use 2 bedroom unit with a 2 bathrooms that is located on the 2nd floor. Most of a 2 bedroom units have carpet and I will probly give like it 2 to 3 stars. Over all with nice unit it is great vacation We came ever year and will come again read more

If you want to listen or watch 6 workers with gas blowers blowing 6 leaves down the street and then watch 3 with gas weedwackers cut up a bit of grass for 3 hours while you are on your vacation, this is the place for you! The noise is awful. read more

Beautiful property, very well landscaped with manicured lawns. We had a two bedroom/2 bath condo with a king bed upstairs twin beds downstairs. The condo had an updated kitchen and plenty of room for 6 adults. Our condo was right in front of the lushly landscaped pool area and the parking space was right next to the condo which was perfect. My only issue was the bugs. Roaches to be clear. I know it's a humid environment and you probably can't get away from them. I only saw them in the kitchen, and even saw one in the refrigerator. Take that however you will be but I really dont think that you can avoid them unless you are in a high end hotel. The staff was nice, the groundskeepers were eager to share with us about the different kinds of plant life. The location us very close to a park and beaches. There are grills by the pool which helps keep you in the wonderful Maui sun. I would recommend the Maui Kamole and be sure to get an ocean view for beautiful sunrises every day! read more

My response to MK's response: with all due respect, when I booked this package on Hawaiian Airline's website, (who I believe uses Orbitz) I booked my unit under Maui Kamaole! It did not state this unit was privately managed! It's your name and management company! Don't back pedal because someone gave you a negative review! Accept responsibility and move on! The customer service here at this place is also laughable! I booked this in February! Six months in advance! The only requirement I had was that one bedroom have two twin beds! Are you telling me that in a complex that has more than 25 buildings, they couldn't find me one unit with two twin beds in a room? Please!!! Never again! Nightmare . Watch out . This place is by far the worst place I have ever stayed on the island after 10 years . My rental car got robbed on the parking lot of J section Apt 107 with 7852$ worth of gear and money stolen . There was 24 hour security (pono security) the security guy that was working literally thought we were partying with locals and brought them to the apt and partied than they came to the place and robbed us? I don't even drink and I m as local as it gets , When I called for the Manager (Brian Noble) and asked for a refund and expenses paid on the broken rental truck. ( he replied there is no way that the company would do that)he basically told me that they make 0 dollars out of this and the whole money goes to Orbitz and the owner of the apt J 107 . He told me that there are no cameras on the Premises to later agree that there are 2 cameras by the pool. The person at the desk Sarah said she called me after I told her to call me ASAP and I waited for 20 minutes at the desk that opens at 8am till 8:20 remind you that I have a flight to catch 8:45 am went there and she was laughing at my face lying that she called me , when I called her out on that she was surprised as if I was the one lying. (And the flight was missed ) The manager Brian stated that there is a chance that the thief's jumped a fence half a mile uphill to steal about 200lbs of kiteboarding gear hydrofoil surfboard and heavy bags etc. when I told him it's impossible he said we re making circles on a rabbit hole. There is one entrance to the building they claim that security is from 10am to 2am where that day the police came 9:30ish with a security guard waiting by the broken car. Still stuck on Maui with no ID or credit cards cash and together about 10k in debt with O alpologies or any kind of refunds for the stay or the damage . There is no way that anybody can pull this kind of a robbery in lesser than half hour which the door was tried to be broken than window and it was a lot of weight . Remind you the truck was parked by a street light and lots of foot traffic and next to a garbage can. Whoever I talked to said that there is no possible way that it can be done without being recognized that this could be an inside job. I m waiting for the detectives to take over . And I have so many questions that will never get answered . Please be careful with these people and this place. The island of Maui is a wonderful place with kind people z blaming locals for everything does not help with anything at all . This place has no signs that say about this place has does not take responsibility over stolen items from the park etc. The rude security guy who calls himself a natural protector on his cellphone the whole time on a golf cart and the door girl Sarah who is late to work after the biggest robbery or the manager who literally told me to go after the (who had no fault at all) owner of the condo to get my money back gave me no confidence at all . This property is a hidden gem in South Kīhei. A stones throw from the beach, our view was absolutely breathtaking. Our unit - G214 - was clean, well stocked, and extremely inviting. I highly recommend trying to book a building with an ocean view (preferably 2nd floor!) We spent all of our down time on the balcony overlooking the ocean. As far as condo rentals go, you cannot beat this place. South Maui is gorgeous, and luckily this place is a little ways down from the crowds. Highly recommend! read more

Where do I begin? My boyfriend Dan decided to take me to Maui for my 30th birthday and when I found Bonnie's condo (G-112) on VRBO I instantly knew it was exactly where I wanted to stay. Bonnie responded promptly to our inquiries, confirming there are indeed bikes included with G-112 (which was very important to me, as Kihei is soooo bikeable!), and accepted our reservation the same day. A month later when we arrived, we were blown away by the most incredible oceanfront, well-equipped, tastefully decorated, spacious, delightful oasis of a condo. The lanai is gorgeous (I especially love that Bonnie and I both are drawn to sun art, such a nice touch!), private, and offers arguably the BEST view of the sunset and ocean in all of Maui Kamaole! I enjoyed early sunrise yoga on the lanai and grass, wrote in my journal looking out over a sheet of glassy clear ocean, we savored morning coffee and breakfast from the perfect selection of comfortable lounge chairs, prepared stunning meals in the exquisite and well-equipped kitchen (I am such a foodie and literally wanted for NOTHING, gadget wise - Bonnie even had a blender and i fell in love with the coffee maker, too!), and appreciated two bathrooms in addition to the most COMFORTABLE king-sized bed. The bikes, as I mentioned, provided our preferred method of travel; to and from shops, restaurants, the beach, the hot yoga studio I found a few miles away, coffee shops, the health food store just a stone's throw away, and a happy hour or two. We walked to dinner, too (we love walking and the distance to Three's is the perfect balmy stroll). The refrigerator was spacious and amazing, it even had the perfect drawer which preserved my birthday lei ALL week! The beach JUST across the street is terrific and we logged many hours there, saw many sea turtles, and collected a whole photo album's worth of incredible photos. No need to pack up the car and drive to a good beach when it's right at your fingertips! Lastly, we booked a redeye flight out of Maui on our final day, and Bonnie generously extended our checkout time. We weren't expected to leave G-112 at 11am and had the whole day to savor the end of a once in a lifetime birthday vacation in paradise. I cannot express how much this meant to me, and how profoundly it affected the note on which we left the island. Rested, salty, sun kissed, and hearts FULL of love and gratitude (unrushed and completely on Maui time still). That was the greatest birthday gift, Bonnie. We felt so privileged to enjoy your home for a week (our first vacation together, if you can believe it!!!) and will most certainly be back. Mahalo from the bottom of our hearts. I just came back from my stay at Maui Kamaole by CHR. My family stayed in L203 which was a two bedroom two bath with ocean view. This was absolutely perfect for my family of 7. It fit us perfectly and the condo was everything and more. The property itself was beautiful, the outside has amazing landscaping and very well kept and clean. The pool was great, my parents loved the Jacuzzi. Our room had an amazing ocean view on one balcony and pool view on the other balcony. We had a total of three balcony/Lanai's. This condo out did any hotel I've stayed with the full kitchen with all amenities it saved us tons of money on eating out. Also, they had snorkeling gear, beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards and so much more. The bed was very comfortable and we truly had an amazing stay. It felt like home. The parking was extremely easy and this location is so great because it's truly central Maui. Our furthest drive was to the road to hana but to all the other popular beaches it was minutes away! This wasn't a bad place, but the website advertised free wifi, and I read in a comment book other units have free wifi but ours didn't. If you stay here DO NOT STAY in I-111! They have a serious ant problem and was apparently the only unit you had to pay for wifi. The ants were so bad we couldn't even have a beverage on the coffee table without it being covered in ants within minutes. Great vacation spot! We stayed in the L building so we were close to the pool and BBQs and it was perfect! It's a very centrally located condo in South Kihei. We could walk to the beach and a bit longer walk but did it to food and Starbucks!! Beautiful grounds too! Best trip! read more

We really enjoyed our stay at Maui Kamaole E-101. We stayed there for 8 days in June 2018 & it was a great home base for our family to experience all that Maui has to offer. The condo was clean & spacious with all of the supplies necessary for our family to have a great time. The grounds were immaculate & beautiful, & my kids thoroughly enjoyed the pools. Also, you couldn't get any closer to Wailea without actually being in Wailea & the rents there are significantly more expensive. The location was really close to many great beaches! I took off one star because security at the pools can be a little annoying. There are signs that say "No loud noise. No ball play," which is kind of lame. And the security guard once made our kids get out of the hot tub even though the sign clearly states that children under 12 are allowed as long as they are accompanied by an adult (which they were). We booked thru VRBO site (Vacation Rental by Owner) and saved 50% than going thru agents. Our unit H105 is in the perfect location: easy walk to the beach across the street, awesome ocean view from the huge private patio and from the living room and the Kitchen! We enjoyed the sunset "ritual" on the lawn area right in front of our patio with a handful of friendly folks staying in the neighboring units every night! We slept much better than at home thanks to the super comfortable California King Bed, the efficient ACs, quite ceiling fan, high quality bedding and romantic walk on the beach every night. The kitchen has everything we need to cook. The washer and dryer inside the unit is very helpful. The unit comes with all the beach supplies, tons of clean beach towels, a cooler, beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards. There is a beautiful beach right across the street for body surfing, snorkeling, walking on the beach or watching the sunset. The complex is beautifully landscaped with lush ground. The 2 pools and 2 jacuzzis are never very crowded, we are able to get on the tennis court any time we want (yes, there are tennis rackets in this unit)... We think Maui Kamaole is the nicest condo complex in South Kihei. The condo unit H105 is perfect in every way - the ocean view, location, quality furnishing, supplies, sightseeing tips from the owner, and one parking stall close to the unit... We hope to return very soon. read more

What a pleasant surprise this place place was for for me and my family of 4. We just returned from a week in unit A211. This place had a beautiful view of the ocean across the street. Our two bedroom condo was quite spacious and allowed our kids to have their own area in the loft while ny husband and I had a nice room downstairs. While the furniture could have been a little more comfortable, we were pleased to have a table for 6 both inside and on the patio. The kitchen was well appointed and we appreciated the outside closet that had beach mats, snorkel gear and beach chairs. The pool was the perfect temperature and had a nicely covered pergola area with tables and grills. There were shaded areas as well as areas to work on your tan. This place was close to beaches and ammeneties without being too loud or commercial. There are a few grocery stores and a longs drugs nearby. This made it easy to cook meals in the condo to keep costs lower. We had a great time and can't wait to go back! read more

My husband and I along with another couple just spent about 1 week in Maui and we purchased a groupon for the Kamaole Condos. Pros: very close to many beaches, restaurants, and good area for travel around the island. Pool was nice too many children for my taste but very family friendly. Condo itself was a nice size for 2 couples. We cooked at home several night and our unit was stocked with adequate cooking utensils, coffeemaker, blender, toaster. Owner also provided us with paper towels, garbage bags and dish soap. There was also a closet full of beach supplies, umbrellas, boogie boards, chairs, coolers etc... Beds and furniture were comfortable, bathrooms were nice size and plenty of spare sheets, towels, pillows and such. The complex was quiet and the view from our balcony was garden side and quite pleasant. Checking in was no problem and we arrived after the office was closed. We followed the directions at the office door and were able to get into the unit without any problems. Cons: When we arrived at the condo the air had not been turned on and it was very hot. Took about 2 hours to cool down to an acceptable temp. My only major complaint was the roaches. We had to be careful opening up cabinets because they were everywhere. All of our food went into the fridge could not leave anything out that was not sealed. Dishwasher was not working well enough so all dishes had to be washed by hand. We also found roaches in our clothes that we noticed while in our rental car. So needles to say our suitcases had to remain outside once we returned home so as not to carry any visitors into our home. read more

This was our third stay in unit L104 and we were once again very pleased. The location of both the complex and this particular unit is fantastic. The complex is within walking distance to two of the three Kam beaches, the Kihei boat ramp and many dining options. The unit itself is close to the tropical pool and gas grills. The property is very clean and each day some form of maintenance on the buildings themselves or landscaping is being performed. The unit is very quiet. We hear no noise from surrounding units or the pool. And it is situated far enough from Kihei Rd that we hear no street traffic either. The unit has a well stocked kitchen. And the view from the lanai is awesome. Our friends are always jealous when we text sunset pictures from the lanai home during our visits. Alisa and Tim continue to do a great job with their condo and we will be pleased to book our fourth stay with them in the near future. read more

Stayed in this really upscale condomonium complex almost in Wailea, called Maui Kamaole, in 10/08 for our 2nd honeymoon. We got unit A114, which we rented from the owner directly from the owner on VRBO. When we arrived the front woman at the reception desk set the tone by saying "Oh you're lucky, that's the best ocean view unit in this complex!" She was right: WE LOVED IT!!! The 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo was spotless & beautifully decorated with lots of original art from island artist, a SUMPTUOUS king size bed with the softest sheets I've ever laid on, a beautiful master bathroom with a 7' long walk in shower and dual granite sinks, thick terry towels from Ralph Lauren (not standard rental condo white - but a soothing copper color), etc, etc. The owner really thought about the needs of the guests as well as there's an iPod dock and charger, a telescope for whale watching from the lanai, a picnic basket and several sized coolers for beach days, a thermos and blankets for an early morning Haleakala visit, fins and masks in several sizes and really comfortable beach chairs with storage packs and straps for easy carrying. The owner had a friend that worked for Expedia in Lahina (Dan F) who really helped us out with snorkel trips, a luau reservation and horseback riding reservations. The owner called the General Manager of Spago restaurant in the Four Seasons Resort and made a dinner reservation for us and when we got there - we were shown to the best table on the lanai and the staff showered us with complimentary drinks, complimentary hors' dourves from the chef and a personal visit from Jaques, the manager. The owner is an interior decorator in NY, NY who was really easy to deal with on the phone - funny and told us a lot to do that we would never have known if we only looked at our 3 guide books! Our stay here was memorable, and convenient. I chose this location opposed to our last stay in a hotel, for its amenities. I was right in my decision and choice, as it had a full kitchen, and it was equipped with a washer and dryer which made our stay more comfortable. This felt like a home away from home, I was able to wash our clothing, and cook a full meal while being on vacation! They have grills, and a pool on site which makes one really enjoy ones options while vacationing. The fact that you can wash your clothing means you can pack less which means you can either travel light, or that you'll have the extra room in your luggage to take more souvenirs home to your loved ones. The room also came equipped with beach towels, a boogie board, and all the extras one needs to take to the local beach which is not too far away. I will definitely be returning here next year to enjoy yet another vacation, can't wait! read more

We stayed 8 nights and enjoyed it. If you like to stay in condos when you travel and have easy access to activities and amenities this is great. You can walk to the beach very easily and it is a short drive or walk to kihei restaurants. Our unit was on ground level, d103, came stocked with masks snorkels and fins, beach chairs , beach towels , beach umbrella, mini beach cooler. Full kitchen and washer dryer too. Wifi as well. It isn't fancy but is very quiet, relaxing and a well maintained landscape. read more

Close to the beach. Kamole beach 3 has sea turtles swimming around all day and it's 6 minutes walk. The pools are nice as well. Our unit had wifi and a stocked lanai. There were ants everywhere so you just couldn't leave any food or drinks out. Keep it clean and this place is perfect. read more
