A few really great things happened here. I'm originally from down south, Louisiana to be exact......and I come out here to Long Beach to find an authentic praline spot around the corner from me. Being the self proclaimed comfort foodie that I am....I have to make sure the south is being represented appropriately. LOL Well let me tell u this Linda, the banana pudding, DAMN GOOD. The pecan praline, DAMN GOOD!!! 10/10 In conversation with these nice people I found out they are actually from Louisiana too!! (This explains the excitement my tastebuds got to experience.) Great desserts!!!! To my surprise, I'm in the presence of Archie Charles Williams, an American singer who appeared on season 15 of America's Got Talent. If you're in Long Beach, support these nice folks. Get by there and get you some PRALINE, pecan candy & banana pudding.

If you love banana pudding then this is a must! My BF goes boxing down the street and discovered this place and wanted to take me. We walked in and was greeted by a sweet lady and a man. They had us sample their delicious banana pudding and was really nice answering all our questions. We ended up getting a bag of their gourmet praline, one sugar-free praline to gift, and a banana pudding to eat on the road. The creamy banana pudding was so yummy and perfect after our lunch. The parlines were also super impressive. We ended up giving the sugar-free one to my dad who said he loved it and really enjoyed it. Everything was such at a reasonable price. For larger parties, they recommend calling in an hour advance. The shop is small and is more of a grab and go place but it is cute. The people there are lovely. Cannot wait to come back.

The best pudding in America! The pecan pralines are fantastic and the owner is a hard working sweetheart.

I can't believe I have not wrote a review for this place. I say that because this is my favorite spot! And I take my banana pudding seriously! I have been coming here ever since she opened and before that I would go to farmers market to get her pudding! Perfect in very way! It tastes delicious and fresh every single time. And she makes the pudding from scratch which again you can taste! Mind you I have been to pretty much all places that serve banana pudding Lol! And no one can compare! She is the best and the nicest as well. Great customer service always! She's not open on Mondays and Sundays so plan accordingly. These are the places I want to give 10 stars to because 5 stars isn't enough. Oh and her parlins is the truth as well. Not a fan of candy but she offers reg and sugar free.. both delicious!

The gumbo is amazing. It takes me back to the bayou. New Orleans is one of my favorite places in the US and to have a taste of it here in Long Beach is awesome. Plus the service is expectational.

    Yummy Gumbo!

We have had her pudding for years and it is to die for. We just today had her gumbo and it was on the same level. We get pudding for parties (pre-covid guuhhhhhh) and it is gone quickly, if we do not finish it ourselves first. We have had pies from this place too and they are good and very fresh, the owner makes sure. The owner is very nice and personable and we cannot recommend this place enough. Try it out, if you are disappointed then I do not understand you. She also hires young local people and we have seen personally that she teaches them well. The owner is truly a community minded person and we are more than happy to support her, beyond the good food.

What an adorable little shop with an amazing woman. Went in today to get my second batch of this amazing banana putting and I am so glad I did it's delicious again! Taste fresh, rich and just like my Gramas used too! Today I picked up some Pralines and I'm sure they will be amazing too, can't wait to try them! I live in the area and will always stop by for a little treat . Thank you !

The banana pudding was good and I had to eat it all because it would be a while until I get home to a fridge.

I got to the store at around 5pm I walked in and the young lady was on the ladder restocking and said oh I'm sorry I forgot about your order. Her and 2 other employees started to blow up the balloons at that time they mentioned they didn't have the color strings to match the balloons I ordered. I said why didn't you mention this yesterday? They all just gave blank stares. Mind you this was for my brothers home going service my moms wishes. One of the ladies was like well we don't have navy blue.. then she's like oh we don't have white either I'm standing there in disbelief. The balloons weren't ready and now you don't have the correct supplies to complete the job? I settled for what they had. As they were blowing the balloons I noticed they were over filling them I asked for them not to do that but they just stared at me. As a result of the over filling a few balloons popped in the car. I asked them to bag the balloons it was very windy they acted as if they had no idea what I was talking about. Fast forward I take them to the drop off location I arrive by 6:30pm to set everything up. The service was 3 pm the next day. I get a call while at my brothers funeral that all the balloons were down. They checked the cameras and noticed that around 10pm the night before the balloons started to deflate. I have experience with balloons there's no way they should have deflated that soon. I didn't want to ruin my moms wishes my best friend had to emergency call in a balloon company to try and replace the balloons before the repass. This was by far one of the most stressful events I've experienced. I was so disappointed. I will not be returning and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else on such a special occasion.

He let me sample the vegan chocolate honeycomb and it was quite crisp and delicate. The texture literally felt like chewing on honeycombs wrapped in chocolate. Yum! I decided to bring home the cocoa butter crisps, which the chef states is made out of Ritz crackers and chocolate. Made me quite intrigued cause when you think of Ritz crackers, you don't automatically think of chocolate. But oh my gosh, I really like them! Perfect balance of chocolate and cracker with a great amount of richness coming from the Belgian chocolate. Loved the caramel flakes on top, as well. Ambiance inside the Partake Collective provides a modern vibe with a quick grab and go experience. I like how Chef Albert's sweets are set up neatly as soon as you turn the corner up the stairs. Sweets and chocolates are always an eye catcher for me, so I am glad I saw this and got to meet Chef Albert personally. I would definitely recommend trying the variety of chocolates and sweets-- hope to come back soon when I'm in the area!

First off, shout out to the owners dad who talked about his son's business and how he moved back to SoCal to help him out. To help support their business, I decided to but a few bags since I loved their story. Plus, the shop was cool, service was great, and you are immersed by the popcorn scent once you walk in. Most importantly, there are so many flavors and if you are undecided like I was, they allow you to try 3 flavors. After deliberation and going back and forth which felt like hours, actually 2 minutes, I ended up taking home Doritos Cool Ranch, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Dill Pickle. Doritos Cool Ranch: Tastes just like the chips, and as a matter of fact, there are chip crumbs throughout the bag which is a plus because it is one of my favorites. It's mind boggling how they can master the taste and trick your mind, thinking you are eating a bag of chips. Not too salty, popcorn was fresh, and the taste was perfection. By the time we realized, the bag was done and had us wanting more. Strawberry Cheesecake: Sweet but delicious. Definitely tasted like I was eating cheesecake. Cool tip-eat one of the pink and white kernels to get the true taste and be sure to savor it. Dill Pickle: I am not a fan of pickles but I would make an exception because it had a great taste. My boyfriend enjoyed this a lot, too. As soon as I tried one, it was as if I was eating a pickle but it wasn't overpowering. Overall, such a great experience and we will definitely be back to try out some other flavors. Plus, they take recommendations so be sure to submit what you want to see in the store.
