People can be very weird. 3 cookies were ordered: peanut butter chocolate chip macadamia nut Peanut butter was cold, dry and crackly. Chocolate chip was slightly warm in the middle and cold on the outside. It tasted like freezer burn. I did not try the macadamia nut to comment but I was told it was pretty mid. I'll be honest: when I arrived, I was completely confused because the location is actually an apartment, not a storefront. The area also smelled heavily of cigarettes and marijuana, which wasn't ideal--but I understand people can't always control where they live, so I tried to look past that. The service itself was great. I placed my order online, and the cookies were brought out immediately. As for the cookies, they were good overall. I especially enjoyed the chocolate chip and the Oreo cookie. However, the PMS OH YES (Snickers, Twix, and KitKat) cookie tasted very similar to the chocolate chip cookie, with just a few pieces of the candy bars added on top, which made them feel less unique. That said, I don't think I would return. While the cookies were decent, they didn't really stand out to me. This was my first time going to a pop up location on yelp. I was a little confused because I didn't know I was looking for an apartment complex and not a shop. The process I did was to order via Yelp, wait to see that they are ready, and text the business owner that we are there to pick up. I did drive around for a little while they were ready because I didn't want to impose on the neighbors. Now, that didn't affect the flavor or what I thought about the cookies. The cookies were warm and ready to eat. I ordered 2 half cookie half brownie, 1 s'mores, and one snickerdoodle. I liked mine but my husband wasn't a fan of chewy cookies. I prefer mine that way so I ate them just fine. No point in having hard cookies imo. So, overall, I'd go back. The cookies were thick, chewy, and warm. Just received my box of treats from Royal Gourmet cookies. Some of the cookies were still warm when they got delivered. Wow wow wow!!! It's mine and hubbies 10th anniversary and we just moved into our house so we decided to indulge and binge watch shows to enjoy ourselves and what we have accomplished. I saw Royal Gourmet Cookies pop up on grub hub while looking for something sweet so I decided to give it a try. When my order arrived, I was a little disappointed because I had ordered 6 cookies but only 3 were in the box when I opened it. I called the business and the owner was so apologetic and went above and beyond to make the error right. She even offered to personally drive to my house to deliver the remaining cookies. I ended up just stopping by the next day to pick up the remaining cookies and she even included some extras. Not only was the customer service excellent, the cookies were delicious as well. My favorite so far is the Royal Rumble. But all of them have tasty, fresh, and soft-baked just how I like. It was that time of the month, and I was craving for some freshly baked cookies. I was too lazy to pick any up anywhere, so I just ordered off of Grub Hub. I placed an order for the Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, S'mores, and Dirty Diane cookies. I did not know what to expect, so when I finally got my order delivered .. the cookies were cold. It felt like they were pulled out of a fridge. If I would've known this, I would've just had some cookie dough delivered to make cookies myself. I ended up having to placethe cookies onto a sheet pan with unbleached parchment paper and reheat it myself. I also smashed the cookies down since they were thicker than the other pictures that I saw. After the whole process, my roommates and I finally got to try the cookies. The cookies were decent. I'm sure they are tasty when they're freshly baked, but reheated and going through everything just reminded me of having store bought cookies. Her cookies are delicious!!!!! Dirty Diane is my favorite because I love toffee and walnuts. They truly are all wonderful though. The S'mores Remix is the best version of a s'more that I have ever had, all the yummy-ness of a melted marshmallow. These are soft just out of the oven style cookies so if you want dried out crunch, probably not your thing. I went to her pop-up and bought directly from her, she also offers curbside pickup (I'm not a fan of food delivery services but you can order that way). I must not have read the reviews all the way. This is not a storefront, this is an in-home business. When you arrive, there's a menu to order from and you place your order online. You text the word "ARRIVE" to a number and then they bring your order to your car. We really wanted good cookies so we were game. We ordered the family pack of 12 cookies, I don't remember all the names, but you get two cookies of each flavor - there was a snickerdoodle, s'mores, some kind of snickers cookie, chocolate chip, birthday cake, and a toffee flavor. The cookies are generous, but they were all WAY undercooked. We had to toast them in our toaster oven - but when we did...they were TASTY!! For reference, we like our cookies firm around the edges and soft in the center. Would I go again? Maybe for the toffee cookie, it was our favorite, especially after being toasted. read more
